I brought in four dress shirts. They came out perfect well pressed clean well packaged put together well quick good value well priced.

My son was asked to the homecoming dance less than a week before the dance back in the fall of 2023. I was able to find a decent suit online and had it shipped within a couple of days. However, the pants needed to be altered; taken in, and hemmed. With only four days left before the dance, I frantically called all the nearby alterations shops to see if any of them would be able to squeeze it in. Fortunately for us, Happy Cleaners & Tailors said they could! We drove there immediately. The kind seamstress got to work and said she could have it done that Saturday, the day of the homecoming dance. Literally a few hours before it starts. I thanked her and paid. For a rush job, it was reasonably priced, I think it was between $30-40, which I thought was reasonable. We picked up the pants the day of the dance and they fit my son perfectly! I've since returned to drop off bedding for dry cleaning. The ladies who work here are always pleasant. I've had nothing but great experiences here! read more

Gentleman in the back doing the alterations is extremely rude and unprofessional. I feel bad for the workers at the front desk who have to deal with this man. If you're unsatisfied with your alteration, better find a different place than attempt to have them fix their own mistakes. They will fix nothing and get mad at you for calling out their mistake by scoffing at you and mocking you. I came in needing a tie altered for work. The tie is a clip on tie so I needed the length altered since I could not untie and retie the tie. I showed exactly what I needed done and how much to take off the tie. About 5 days later I came back in to pick up the tie. I grabbed the tie and walked out, upon further examination in my car, it was quite obvious the triangle where the tie comes to a point was two different lengths on each side so the tie looked lopsided. I walked back in right after and pointed out my concerns. The kind lady at the front agreed with my observation on the different lengths and called in the man in the back to come look. She pulled out a ruler and showed him how uneven the tie was. Immediately the man sarcastically scoffs, shakes his head, grabs the tie and tosses it back to me. He then starts raising his voice and speaks to his assistant to translate back to me saying he says it's fine and he's not fixing anything all the while shaking his head. So I then point out to him the areas of concern and he pulls out a ruler to measure. The ruler CLEARLY shows two different lengths on either end of the point and even the man can see this but again he goes I'm not fixing it, it's fine and continues shaking his head, rolling his eyes, and scoffs. He then says "just leave, just leave, just leave, we won't charge you, we won't charge you, we won't charge you" and I tell him I already paid multiple times. He is not listening to me, continues to talk over me and keeps telling me to leave and he is not fixing it and won't charge me. At this point I have probably said 5 times that I already paid. Eventually he hears me and goes "how much?" I tell him 20 dollars and he pulls out his personal wallet and tosses a 20 at me. I tell him "I don't want your money, I just wanted it fixed but if you're not going to do that it's fine. I just can't believe how extremely rude you have been to me. I came in and was nothing but nice addressing my concerns, I wasn't mad or anything but you sir have been so unprofessional and rude to me." I tell them I have used this company many times in the past which is true, the past 2 years I have used this place, and I told them I will never be coming back because of how rudely I was treated by this gentleman with the eye rolling, scoffing, head shaking, voice raising, tossing both the tie and money back in my face as if I am burdening him for asking him to fix his mistake. It's not horrible but it is quite obvious the triangle point are different lengths and that he did not care about being precise when it came to altering what I asked them to alter. read more

Please save yourself time- do NOT go to this business. I went in this afternoon around 1:30pm, and had an unprofessional and unpleasant experience with a young lady. I asked if I could have my dress altered. She said with attitude, "Like I said, the person who does our alterations is back on Tuesday." I was confused because I asked her this question once, and she immediately responded with an attitude like I had her repeat herself. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and asked, "Do you know the average turnaround time for dress alterations?" She rolled her eyes and gave more attitude, "I don't know that information." I just turned around and walked out. It's clear she didn't want my business, or to be bothered at work. I'd much rather give my business to pleasant and professional workers. Terrible quality of service. Needed stitching reinforced on leggings and the stitching does not match at all nor does the thread color,green when it should be black!This is very sloppy and unprofessional work. My pants are ruined and cannot be worn without the messy stitching showing. Owner would not replace . If they could not stitch the same they should have disclosed that to me . She fixed my "unfixable" dress so quickly (online shopping for clothes is so difficult when you are on a time crunch) and it looked soo much better on me after I entrusted her with it. My "much-too-big" bridesmaid dress fit JUST right after she was done with it and I received many compliments (which I would never have expected after seeing the dress when I first received it). And instead of correcting it she wanted to charge me 70$ --- on top of the second time she changed her prices on items i brought to her. I was really disappointed at her behavior when confronted. I took two faux leather jackets(Brands: Murano and J. Ferrar) to Happy Cleaners & Tailors a few days ago and sadly I have had a horrible experience. Turns out they completely ruined both jackets and to top it off they do not want to resolve the issue as apparently I am being unreasonable. I purchased the two jackets maybe a year to a year and half ago for 200USD each. The dry cleaner claims that they want to resolve the issue yet they don't want to pay. Some of their excuses are: The jackets are not brand new (of course they are not, otherwise I wouldn't have taken them to get clean), They are not worth 200 each (correct, the price has dropped that is why I compromised to accept 320USD which makes it 160USD per jacket, despite that Dillards is selling the Murano jacket for 179USD, and the J Ferrar jacket can no longer be found online). We need the original receipt (no one is going to have the receipt for something they purchased a year to a year and half ago). They also tried using the Covid excuse how the business is struggling. I am so sorry that the business is struggling. I am also struggling, my family is struggling, the whole world is struggling. The manager even had the audacity to say that I wasn't going to go back anyway, of course insinuating that they were not going to budge. There are four Happy Cleaners & Tailors locations in the Phoenix area so I am very sure they can afford to pay me what they ruined. When you have a business you have wins and losses, the losses are still the business responsibility. Not to mention how ironic the name of the company is, "Happy Cleaners". Well let me tell you something, I AM NOT HAPPY. You will also be contacted by the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission as I have put my complaints there too. read more

I usually frequent the Happy Cleaners in Chandler, which has exceptional service, but I recently moved to Gilbert and chose to visit the Happy Cleaners on Higley. They are just as wonderful, fast, and detailed in their work as the Chandler location. I brought in two winter coats and a silk blouse and have received excellent service at both drop-off and pick-up. My only complaint is that the price per coat was a bit high. However, I'd rather pay a bit extra and receive quality service than to have someone rush through the job. Bonus: they do NOT poke safety pins through the clothes. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and highly recommend the Happy Cleaners on Pecos and Higley. read more

Super disappointed with my experience here getting an outfit tailored. The tailor is super sweet however I wasn't given a cost to tailor one pair of dress pants, was told they would let me know once it was done. Assuming the cost would be similar to other pants I have had done previously. But when I went to pick it up on the designated date listed on my receipt, they didn't have it ready. No problems but my biggest problem is when I picked it up, they charged me $124 for one pair of pants to be taken in!!! That was more than the cost of the whole outfit! Had I known how much they would charge me up front I would have done it myself or gone elsewhere. I feel taken advantage of. They didn't even have me try it on to make sure it fits, so hoping it even fits. Super sad because my first visit made it seem like this would be my new tailor. Again she's super nice but I feel taken advantage of cost wise. Some transparency would have been appreciated. Sad. read more

I think the one person reporting that her fee for a seam was $25, and she didn't even use the service, than gives them a one star rating. Come on! Anyone can complain, so you can sew.. This place is absolute garbage. I came back 3 different times cuz they weren't able to clean a dirt stain out of a rug. Not only did this go on way too long.... I wouldn't go here if I were you.. they sealed in a dirty mark that wasn't bad and made it worse. It was a $60 rug and they ruined it and made me pay twice to get it cleaned again... not only did they ruin my nice rug and not get the stains out they wouldn't give me my money back for either of the payments I did for this rug over the term of 2-3 weeks... they were very hostile in person and on the phone as well. It doesn't help when you're customer service either when you make false promises, lie to the customer, on top of being rude and belligerent... it's bad enough the fact they hardly understand any English to begin with... kind of the opposite of "happy" they're title is false advertising they should call themselves what they are "Evil, and dumb broken English cleaners" and go out of business for the betterment of the public... Came in with a big bag of dry cleaning which included a pair of pants that needed to be repaired along the inseam where some thread had come out. It was the day before a two week trip and I needed the suit pants repaired and dry cleaned so that my son could wear them shortly after I get back from the trip. First I showed the lady what needed to be repaired. She said, "I think this will be $15." I said that was fine. I was prepared for it to cost money. She kept inspecting the pants and continued, "I know that's a lot for such a small repair but that's what it will be." I said again, "okay." She keeps inspecting, "do you know how to sew?" "Yes I do." She continues, "because this would only take you five minutes." She's done inspecting the pants now and looks at me, "do you not have a sewing machine?" I respond, "yes I do." I didn't mention that we have recently moved and a large portion of our belongings are in a storage unit and I'm leaving town early tomorrow morning and was short on time, but I shouldn't have had to. She clearly didn't want my business. I said, "okay, I'll fix them." Put them back in my big bag full of dry cleaning and started to walk out. She said, "but do you have to drop off that dry cleaning?" I said, "nope I'm okay." I've been coming here a long time but I'll find a new place to take my repairs and dry cleaning. read more

This dry cleaner is absolutely awesome. By far my favorite ever. First, they always do a great job. But, most dry cleaners do. What makes them different? Their service. The owner (I believe she's the owner) knows me by name, my wife by name and even knows our kids - and we aren't weekly customers. We go there maybe once a month. We're always greeted like we're family. In fact, I wish the owner WAS part of our family! She is a total sweetheart. Not sure about this place....called re 1 curtain panel that's needing altered for length. I'm able to do it myself, but someone with a sewing machine would save me 40 minutes.... Width is 24", just needed one (1), seam at the top. I cut & measured to what I need. Called, she said $25 to do it!!! Curtain only cost me 12$ from WayFaire, with free shipping! My dad was a tailor, my mom a seamstress they used to make all our clothes when younger. Was taught to sew & hem etc. I ended up doing it by hand it was that easy. ONE seam, ONE pass with the machine, $25??? Avoid this place like the plague! My reg dry cleaners do not do alterations, once I told them what this place said they where shocked! I have been going here for 4+ years. I have had dry cleaning, shirt wash and press, tailoring, button replacement, and had a tapestry cleaned and repaired. All of that done extremely well! Professional staff took the time to understand the tailoring and tapestry needs. The name is appropriate too, as they are always friendly and kind. Example: Once I had an order of 20 shirts. They loaned me a large metal hook to carry them out since it would have been impossible to carry 20 wire hangers. I said I would bring it back as soon as I got the shirts to my car. He said, "Oh no! You will need it to hang them properly in the car. Bring it back next time you come in." All I can say is this place is great! I'm glad I found them. read more

To be fair, I have no idea how they do with dry cleaning. This is strictly about the tailoring part. I brought in my 1972 VINTAGE sequins three piece suit with a VERY specific list of demands. We spent at least twenty minutes going over what I needed before I made any commitment. I informed the young woman, Carol I believe she said but I could be wrong, that this suit had to be PERFECT for the upcoming Jackie Joyner-Kearse Foundations Sequins, Suits and Sneakers Gala in Missouri. She ASSURED me that she was familiar with working with sequins and would have no problem catering to my specific needs. I hesitantly said goodbye to my suit and went home to wait . She said it would be done in a week. WHAT A WEEK. I kept going into my closet to say good morning, only to realize it wasn't there. It was awful, really, but Carl has put on a few pounds due to an underactive lifestyle and we needed to expand the suits borders a bit. I should've built a wall!! ( around my refrigerator) When the big day finally came I was outside waiting for them to open like a little child on Christmas. Well boy oh boy did I get a lump of coal in my stocking!! The buttons on the sleeve were HORRIBLY done. Looked like a five year old did it. The buttons were loose and they didn't even line up straight. There were bits of string coming out and the liner wasn't even sewn back correctly. TERRIBLE JOB. There were many, many bent and creased sequins which , if you know sequins, can never be repaired. I, Was, Devastated. Cried for a week. Actually contemplated not gong to the gala but Carl is not a quitter. I had to fly all the way back home to Olney Illinois ( HOME OF THE WHITE SQUIRELL WHOOT WHOOT!!) and have mother fix it. She's the only woman I know who has the respect needed for sequins when repairing or altering sequins. Once again mommy saves the day but at what cost?? Needless to say, sequins or not, this isn't my spot. read more
