I brought 10 pair of pants in to be hemmed. A very simple request . One pair needed a 28" inseam. They others all 29". One pair had raw edges and I wanted a regular hem on them too. While I was there the gentleman place a tag on the one pair of pants that needed the 28" hem. I was told the next day all the pants were ready for pickup. I picked them up. When inspecting the pants at home, the one pair with the raw edges was not hemmed and looked like a pair of scissors was used on them making an uneven cut. I was charged for this! The one pair that was tagged for 28" measured 29 " with the tag still attached. The inseams measured differently from one leg to the other on 5 of the 10 pants. I called, explained the situation, spoke to a woman, and was told to bring them back in. I did and the woman at the counter apologized after see looked at the pants and said their regular seamstress was on vacation. This was a Friday and told me to come back Monday and the pants would be fixed. When I came in today, my one pair of pants with the raw hem was still not hemmed! The pair of pants that I wanted the shorter inseam, 28" was still 29". But a pair of my other pants that needed the inseams be redone so both inseams were even, now have been hemmed to 28"! They male counter person insisted I wanted theses pants hem to 28". Absolutely not! The pants that needed the 28" had a tag that he, himself safety pinned to the waist when I originally brought them in. He said I wanted to keep the raw edges on the one pair. If so why would I bring them in, I could cut the legs myself and save $18.0! Unbelievable attitude and very poor quality of work. I do not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. I received a refund on the pants that were never hemmed, but not on the other pants that weren't hemmed correctly and another pair ruined by hemming too short. read more

The owner charged me $20.00 to clean my Off-White Dinner Jacket because it had stains, and he would have to put in extra effort to remove them! I don't know what the normal fee to dry clean a Coat is. I must bring my clothes in clean, and stain-free to avoid paying extra and excessive fees. The coat is clean now. It was too expensive to let them keep it for the excessive fee. I know all he did was use chemicals he already had to get the job done. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME SOMEONE CHARGED EXTRA FOR DOING THE JOB THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO DO AS A NORMAL SERVICE. read more

I needed two dresses and a pair of pants hemmed, and a heavy winter coat that needed the sleeves shortened and tightened for a great fit. I needed them to be close by, done well, and I needed them to be open during posted business hours. Star Dry Cleaners delivered with polite customer service, a seamstress named Rosa, and were open when I needed them to be. If I can give 0 star I will! Normally I don't like to give bad review unless I have to. I don't want others to experience what I had. I am a big supporter of local business but this dry clean is seriously bad. I took my blazer for dry clean, when I received it, my blazer looks worse and dirtier. I took it back asked for a second try, the employee said it is my responsibility of the stain, he said he can give it a try but won't guarantee anything. His attitude was bad, all he wanted was to get rid of me. He seemed relief when I said I will try another dry cleaner. I will NEVER go back to this place again. read more

How can you screw my linings up? I am pretty disappointed with the quality of the service. The owner seemed to be a nice person but I couldn't comprehend the quality of his, or his employee'a work when they took 4 days to dry clean my blazer. Update: I took it back to the dry cleaner shop and was able to receive a prompt response from one of the employees. I am glad that things are settled now. This review is not a reflection of their service but the fact that my card was used here fraudulently. To me, it didn't seem like they care about verifying the identify of the cardholder before running a card. As long as they got the cha-Ching, you know what I mean? So this review is a reflection of how secure and suspect their payment system is and how little they cared when I called and told them they accepted a fraudulent card. To the gentleman I spoke to: YOU, the MERCHANT, will have to foot the bill for accepting a fraudulent order. The bank will pull the refund for a fraudulent order directly from the merchant:). This place is under new management with new owner now. New owner is very nice young gentlemem. He is hard worker and nice service here. They do excellent alteration and dry clean. This place has drive thru which is very unusual for dry cleaners and convenient parking. Drive thru makes much easier to pick up and drop off when with my kids. Convenient location. I decided to test this guys with the dry cleaning of a suit and to put a button on the hip pocket and mend a rip in the front pants along the stitching (3inches). Besides the $3 for the button and $10 for the re-stitching price, when I came to collect the $28 job, the stitching was not performed! Good thing I checked since they have a sign that if you walk out without doing so you are out of gas. The guy didn't even apologize that I now had to come back a few days later to get the completed pants. a for the dry cleaning, the suit came back all shiny!! I have used this cleaners since it opened and I have been very pleased with the service. I love the drive thru and I really love the fact that they are open on Sundays which cleaners are not (at least I have not found one that is).
