I first thought they were located in the shopping center but it's actually across the street. Was greeted upon entering and sat immediately. Everyone was welcoming and friendly to me... I was a little nervous from reading previous reviews until I saw my FOODIE BFF SISTAAa also stamped this shop in a previous POSITIVE review that she posted :))) *Whoooooo-saaaaaa* I'm happy with the way Lisa did my nails. So much, I decided to get a pedicure too :))) This could definitely be my go to shop for a day of self care- not to mention I came at the perfect time because the only one being serviced was me. Lisa even grabbed my socks and put them back on after she dried off my feet! I asked for short almond nails and got a confused stare -- I should've walked out right then. Instead, the tech yelled across the salon in another language, and someone yelled back that the service was $70. Loud enough that three other customers turned to stare at me. I was still in my work clothes, having left two hours early to squeeze this in before full mommy-mode weekend duty. I stayed anyway. Big mistake. She glued the tips on crooked -- sticking straight out instead of curving naturally. Filed them into random shapes and sizes. Zoned out every time I asked her to fix something. I gave up on gel and red tips and settled for clear polish just to escape and fix it somewhere else later. I should've asked for her license. I should've left when they yelled the price across the room. I should've left a dozen times. Instead I sat there, fixing my own cuticles and rubbing in my own lotion, just to get a barely passable basic set. Worst salon I've ever stepped into. Raggedy awning, dusty front desk, dust-caked acrylic display untouched for who knows how long. If they don't care about their own shop, why would they care about my nails? Lesson learned: some businesses don't exist to serve you well -- they exist to take your $100 while you're just trying to steal an hour of "self-care" before going back to taking care of everyone else.
