My daughter has been obsessed with Disney's Zombies movies since they first came out a few years ago. So, when it was time to plan her birthday party she had a very specific plan on who she wanted to make an appearance at her party. She wanted the main character, Addison, to come in her alien outfit. I started my research a few months ago and I stumbled upon Mr. Bear's Yelp page. I emailed him with my request and he sent me a message back right away! He said that he was familiar with the movies and can meet my daughter's needs. He confirmed everything with me a few days later and we had a game plan. I met Mr. Bear the morning of our party and he started to set things up. He had the music for the movies, the exact outfit my daughter requested and had so many fun activities planned for our guests. I was completely blown away! The kids had such a blast! Addison even came over to our tables and chatted with the girls while they ate their lunch. She made sure my daughter was the focus of all of the activities and she was smiling ear to ear the entire time! She sang happy birthday and even helped pass out the cake! My daughter is a social butterfly, but when it comes to her own requests, she tries to please everyone else and hardly ever states what she wants. She always puts others first. However, on her special day, she got everything that she wanted and felt so much love and affection from Mr. Bear and Addison. When we got home after the party, she gave my husband and I a hug and cried because of how much fun she had and that it was her perfect day. We were so touched. Hosted my mom's big 80th bash recently. Last minute (literally 2 days before the party) my sister calls and tells me she thinks we should try to get an Elvis impersonator to come and at least do a singing telegram. I thought it was a fantastic idea but with only two days to accomplish that, I didn't think it would happen. I went to my trusty Yelp app and started pulling up everything I could think of including an awesome company I used for my daughter's bday the year prior --nobody had Elvis! That company recommended I search specifically for "Elvis impersonators". Still nothing. I started searching more broadly for just "party entertainment" and finally came across, "Bear Sanchez". He messaged that he was available! I was a teensy bit nervous because on his site, there were no pictures of "Elvis" so when I called him, we had a "minute interview". I felt pretty confident after talking to him for just a couple of minutes that we had found our Elvis! OK-- This guy is talented! He knows how to work the room, ad-lib, and was VERY on top of details that I had given him about my mom-- incorporating it into his presentation. Everybody at the party enjoyed every minute. My mom, who has NEVER experienced anything like this before in her life was so embarrassed at first, but at the end of the day she was really impressed and had fun. Bonus, I got to cut a little rug with him too! I think what makes him so special is that he seems to really be enjoying what he is doing and that translates to a better performance! I would not hesitate to recommend Bear Sanchez and his company for any party entertainment needs. All correspondence from start to finish was friendly, professional and accommodating. We love Mr. Bear! He made our Easter get together so special. The kids had so much fun with the bunny petting zoo, playing all the fun games ,and the balloon making was a big hit. Parents didn't need to do a thing. I'm now writing this review for his online birthday entertainment during COVID-19 stay-at-home. He entertained my toddler for a solid 45 minutes with a magic show, story, and characters. It was a great way to add some fun to the day and much better than just watching a movie because he makes it so interactive and tailors the experience for the child. It is very unfortunate that I had to write this review, because I had high hopes regarding this company as all yelp reviews are 5 stars. I hired Mr. Bear to be the magician for my son's 1st birthday party just last Sunday. I was under the impression that he will be the one performing at the party because that was what we talked about during the hiring process, however on the day off I have received a text stating that it was another lady who will be doing the magic show. I had no problem with that but I would appreciate a heads up that there will be a change of plan before my actual event date. Fast forward, my magician was 35 minutes late, my contract clearly says 2:30pm but she kept insisting that it was at 3. Then she could not perform her magic show because she forgot the key to her magic box! I finally just had to ask her to leave as we had some other things planned out for the day as well. We had to push back on our program just so we can have her perform and to my disappointment cannot even perform anything because she forgot her keys. I had tried contacting Mr. Bear but he would not return my phone call. Instead, he sent me a text apologizing for what happened. It was very unprofessional. I have asked him to call me so we can atleast talk about what happened and maybe resolve the issue but until now no one had ever called. I just hope that this would not happen again to anyone who would hire this company. read more
