Some of them look a little rough and some look very rough, but they are priced accordingly. My washer gave out two weeks ago and right now, a new washing machine just isn't in the budget, so a coworker recommended Airport Appliance. They had a LOT of appliances, all reconditioned (with anywhere from a 45- to 90-day warranty, but if a used machine is going to fail, it will probably fail in the first month). Long story short, I bought a washing machine. Two days later, two wiry little guys (they are always wiry little guys) delivered my washer and took away my old one (delivery and take-away charge is $45), but the reconditioned one didn't work. You can imagine my thoughts at that point, but I called Airport Appliance right away and they promised a repairman first thing Monday. They not only came through, but the machine now works like a Sherman tank -- it's one of those old ones like everyone's grandmother had -- the kind that last for 20 years. I am pretty confident that it won't fail again (caveat: if it lasts two years, it'll owe me nothing, because one trip to the laundromat cost me $18), but if it does, I'm also confident that their repairman can fix it. This place has better customer service and nicer staff than most of the big box stores I've been to lately. They know more about the stuff they sell, they don't want the hassle of unhappy customers, and they don't try to hard-sell a stupid extended warranty that is all profit for the store. Plus, they do what they say they are going to do, and they take your old stuff away and either give it a new life or recycle it. It's a nice concept in this throw-away world we live in.

We have been on the search for a bed for about six months now, and have not found anything that worked for both of us, but wouldn't break the bank. Prior to this we bought a mattress from Mattress Firm for well over $2k and it sucked. It sunk within 2 months and we had to fight them tooth and nail to replace it, and they finally did - WITH THE SAME BED, which did the same thing. Before buying this bed we hadn't had a decent nights sleep in almost two years... very exhausting and aggravating. Firstly the store is something out of my dreams, it has every piece of furniture your could hope for (classy furniture even), for a super affordable price. I spied about 3 other things I will be back to buy after we move! Two weeks prior to our visit we bought an Italian leather couch from Ashley's and paid almost 2k for it (dual recliner with cup holder/electronic device port) and I wish that we would have found this place first. It had a couch that looked almost the exact same for 1/3 the price! Granted not as many bells and whistles but too good a price to beat for essentially the same product. Anyhow, I digress - back to the bed. Due to our shotty bed my fiance (at time of purchase) had severe back problems from sinking so badly. He went in expecting to be disappointed (he can be hard to please), but the sales men/women were super attentive and accommodating. We tried the same 5 beds probably 50 different times and no one heckled us to make a decision. Finally we decided on a bed and they promptly strapped it onto the roof of my Kia Soul and off we went! The store GM addressed our worries regarding the warranty and assured us that if the bed did start to sink, we may return it for a DIFFERENT bed (our big concern, considering the last place would only replace with the same crappy product). After all was said and done we walked out with a king sized mattress, box spring, and mattress cover for under $700. We have slept like babies every night since we bought it. Five stars for staff helpfulness, product options, product quality, and easiness of purchase. Would definitely recommend to a friend, and we WILL be back!
