We had a nurse with us and she said just rest it will be fine, well after a week of rest in the middle of the wilderness. We called it, to the ER we went to, they were super sweet and not busy as it was summer and their super busy time is the winter when everyone is skiing. They did an x-ray and MRI and confirmed that it was in fact torn in many places. They gave me painkillers as well as a knee brace that was from my thie to my ankle with some crunches. They said to go see an orthopedic doctor, well that doctor was out till mid-August. I was able to hop around until I went home and my ortho looked at it. It by that point started to heal and he was like your young and if it not bothering you then at least see what PT can do too. I am now 26 and my knee is fine nothing to complain about. For nurses yes you are very wise but also know when to encourage people to go get things checked out. I think she was worried because she was the owner of the dog that tripped me by running up behind me and taking my knee out. Because of the location that were were at they had all the high-end medical tools for a knee injury.

Any Body Pain Youve Got, This Is The Place…read more This was my first foray into physical therapy, in my case for a bout of plantar fasciiitis that had me in intense pain and hobbling around. I had heard about "dry needling" from a friend who let me know it could be a solution to my misery. From the get-go, a wonderful experience. Karen, at the front desk, handling the appointments is a gem and everyone at the site is friendly, helpful, encouraging and full of information. I worked mainly with Kaya, who gave me exercises to help with my condition and was a pro with the dry needling. After just three treatments, I was virtually pain free. I wished I had heard about this technique like A YEAR AGO, as I have been limping through my life with P.F. for that long.
