Location: 3 stars. Little parking. If you have a large vehicle there's gravel parking in the back. Ambiance and decor inside: Right now there is festive decor because of the season, however, there is little comfortable furniture. You get repeat customers with comfort and vibes. So I can see why this is more of an in and out location. The noise level isn't overly loud and I can hear the music. 3 stars. Service: Quick and friendly. 5 stars. I like being greeted with a smile, I saw rapport with baristas and regulars and people complimenting each other. Food: 5 stars. I always love Starbucks food. The same no matter where I get it. If Starbucks started putting religious quotes on cups , it would go something like this - God ! this cup is expensive ! Stopped for a quick beverage break as we were charging our car across the street . The store has an abrupt entrance especially if you are coming from the main street and the drive thru and regular traffic needs to be really cautious . The store itself is not too big but had ample seating. It definitely did not feel like a coffeeshop where you could sit and work though . Too loud and crowded . Staff was alright , not too friendly but nothing bad either . Drinks were great and really refreshing for the hot weather outside . read more

Been getting the same drink for years, tried ordering a new hot drink early in the morning. Stopped in on my in and out passages through this dreary little "almost once was" city by the sea. Everyone knows the reason this town was entered onto the maps and collective consciousness of now I imagine a third generation. Quite a feat for a star that rose and fell just as fast. Thankfully that star was one that had that momentum, charisma and staying power it did. I was mid twentysomething that time in history and had the good fortune to cross orbits in parallel pathes, but not immediate intersects. That aside, I was passing into the edge of town seeking some caffeine last Friday and again for the same reason this afternoon. The barista who's name I won't name but might suggest he reminded me of Sammy Hagar in both friendliness as well as charm. He recognized not me probably, but instead my lovely wife and crazy funny daughter Coleybug (Nicole) who is like a cartoon character that insists upon meeting everyone everywhere. So needless (but I shall anyway) to say, it was her who this guy said "you all were here recently right?, I didn't serve you but I remember you entering a few days back." He added that we had a great chi. So with that prompt my wife instantly augmented her order to an additional chai tea. This Starbucks was on another level. Last visit was walk-in. And we were able to make orders, have a restroom stop and some enjoyment. This drive thru was practically the same, but instead it was very prompt and immensely enjoyable. Bravo. read more

I love this Starbucks! The customer service is always warm and welcoming and my orders are always superbly done. There's a girl there with purple hair and a lovely smile who is an absolute delight to talk to and interact with. She makes my day every time I see her. I really appreciate her being there and making my stop just that much better! i do not drink coffee or go to coffee shops..i was doing someone a favor..keep this in mind for my review...walked into Starbucks at 9:57am, finally left with 4 items (2 sammiches, 1 bar, and 1 drink) at 10:42am..First up was coffee, served within the first 7 minutes...i asked about the sammiches and bar (as i do not know the routine) and was snapped at in a rude manner from the oldest, tallest, woman working there (no name tag to identify her), "YOUR FOOD WILL COME WHEN ITS READY AND SEPERATE FTOM YOUR COFFEE!"...there were several food/drink ordets sitting in the "pick-up" area...probably because no one can hear her whisper their name (no im not exaggerating) its ready...after all that (i had the cashier read from the text the order my wife wanted, so i did not say it wrong)...got it home and her sammich was not right...my sammich was thrown into the bag, so all over the place..they both were soggy and disgusting..dogs wouldnt eat em...now i know why that location gets crappy reviews...the staff is rude, food sucks, and the coffee (according to others) tastes like it was filtered through a sweaty pair of undies!... read more

Whoa! What's with all the negative reviews folks? I've been to this location many times and can tell you that this Starbucks does not deserve the current 1.5 Stars (averaged over just 6 reviews). The team members are friendly and move the line quickly. With a location that makes it one of the first 'bux you'll encounter after many miles of driving and the last 'bux you'll see (not counting the kiosk inside Safeway) for many miles more, it can get quite busy at times. My drinks are always made correctly and the time it takes from ordering to sipping is on par with what I've experienced at other locations. So, when you're on your way up to Ocean Shores, the Rainforest or that little town where the Twilight stories are set, don't hesitate to stop here for your Starbucks fix folks...and don't hesitate to give this hard working team some Yelp love! read more

This Starbucks and their employees are fabulous! This is a very busy location as it is the first and easiest stop comimg into town. A lot of people stoppping to use the restroom and parking can be a bit rough at times. Events on weekends at the beach tend to make this location a hot spot coming in and out of town, so be prepared to join the crowd and potentially wait some, but the employees make up for all that. Always friendly, fast, efficient and the line moves fast, don't be fooled by all the cars. These guys bust their ass daily so be kind, be patient and at times remember.....its just coffee read more

Slowest Starbucks I've ever been to, we were in a hurry and needed a quick bathroom stop so we thought we'd buy a drink. Took forever and 2 employees were just standing around literally doing nothing while 1 guy was making all the drinks. There were 2 additional people who were at the register and window who obviously couldn't help make drinks but the other two could. She corrected everything I said and was extremely condescending. She rang me up and then forgot about my order until I reminded her. I always go to this Starbucks, they're always friendly and I've always had a good experience with them. Every time I get a drink it tastes good, exactly what I order. Only complaint is that they have food on the menu, but every time I ask if they have something food wise they seem to be out of it every time. The only reason I even gave this Starbucks 2 stars is for the little gal named Julie that works there. She is very sweet, I give her 10 stars, unlike all of the other girls there. My first visit there I figured the morning manager was just having an off day, however my next few visits proved that not to be the case. My final and last visit I ordered my drink with one special request with it and the lady turned to another employee and literally rolled her eyes, said something nasty under her breath and they both laughed. If that doesn't make someone feel uncomfortable then this next part should. The girl making my drink messed it up and I let her know, she didn't apologize or anything just handed it to me so I had to be the bad guy and asked her to remake it (I did not want cream in it and she put cream in my cold brew, not that hard of a fix, right?) Wow the attitude I received from her was like a punch in the gut! Every woman employee there was just rude, unfriendly and as much as I love my Starbucks I can no longer go to this Starbucks to be treated like that! It really pains me to write this because I like Starbucks so much and this is the PERFECT location to stop for a little bite and refuel on the way to the Ocean. I have been to this specific Starbucks many times over the years and never have I experienced even decent customer service. It's odd as I frequent Starbucks all over the place and everyone is just friendly and cool. What is it with this specific one? I was just in there and ordered a couple drinks; the woman at the counter didn't ask my name which I thought was odd because how are they gonna tell which drinks are mine? But okay. My son's drink came up and not mine; and a couple drinks came up ready for the people that were behind me in line. Okay no big deal so I asked the barista politely if she had gotten my Americano order just to be sure. She snapped "I'm sure it's back there I haven't gotten to it yet!!" And gives me this sneering smile. Wow. I was floored. The people standing next to me mouths' were hanging open. I couldn't handle that so I just walked out. Never again will I be coming here. I have noticed there are quite a few bad reviews as well about this Starbucks and it looks like there have been no responses by management addressing the poor customer service at this specific location. It's a real shame as it's a convenient spot. We've stopped at this Starbucks on our way to the coast many times over the past 8 years and it's been a reliable place to stop and refresh before the final hour of driving. We always spend about $20-$30. If it weren't for all the other times we've received good service at this location, I'd give it two stars. This visit I found the soap dispenser in one restroom not functioning (it had soap, but didn't dispense unless the pump was pounded with a fist). I've worked in retail and I know what a pain people can be at times, so I politely told who I think was the lead associate (manager on duty?) about the problem with the soap dispenser and she gave me attitude in her answer and informed me that soap dispenser works. She did not seem interested in learning that for the purpose of washing hands, it was very difficult to use (and really unacceptable), and she just seemed bent on being rude. I've been to many Starbucks over the years and anticipate decent service, so it stands out that I got bad attitude at this location, and from a lead, at that. read more

I'm VERY disappointed with the quality of service here. The baristas are just rude. I ordered an iced tea, just a regular iced tea with lemon. I was barraged with questions. After a long time of this that and every possible variation I asked if he knows what iced tea is. When I got it, it was a pink liquid, no lemon and didn't even taste like tea. After 1 sip I threw it away and walked across the street to McDonald's and got a real one for a dollar. I love Starbucks so much because they are "supposed" to be consistent across the board. I don't even believe in giving bad reviews. But this location needs better management. I have only had a handful of nice Barista at times, I believe it's because they actually care about their job. But the ones that have been there the longest do not have that caring and kindness and attention to detail, you are just a customer, not someone that matters to them. Most the time I get a good drink. But today was the WORST coffee I have ever had! It literally tasted like someone had emptied an old coffee pot, mixed with water. I almost always drink it even if it was made incorrectly, but I could not even begin to drink this. Also, I ordered a Venti, asked for simple syrup (classic) and a cappuccino. It was a grande with no syrup and literally a 1/4 inch of foam. I called the manager and she apologized and said she could remake it for me when I was able to return. But she even cut me off, and didn't let me finish my sentence. On Nov. 12th around 1 pm, dealt with an extremely hostile cashier. Worst customer experience of my life. Couldn't hear what she was saying over intercom, and she become rapidly angry as I tried to clarify the order. Once I got to the window, she shouted, "TAKE YOUR COFFEE AND LEAVE!". Refused to take my payment. From the looks of the person in the car in front of me while I waited in line, I wasn't the only person who had a hostile reaction.
