    Cuban sandwich
    Carrie B.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat after our soccer game! We had the giant pretzel, quesadilla, a Cuban, and the pulled pork sandwich. Service was friendly, and the space was clean and pretty quiet! My Cuban was pretty delicious, and my daughter loved her pretzel...it really was huge! My husband just thought that the pork sandwich was okay. I would have preferred a little more chewy bread for my Cuban, but the flavor was good. My dad enjoyed his quesadilla and wanted more of the fire salsa. We didn't try any of the beer or ciders, but the local area is well represented--both on tap and in the cooler! We would come back!

Cool vibe. Wonderful golden coffee stout. Quick, friendly service at the bar. If only the golden coffee stout was to go! I'd order plenty.

Stopped in on a mid-week afternoon for a tasting with the Executive Director of the Downtown Aberdeen Association. After a detailed walking tour, he suggested checking out MOB (Mount Olympus Brewing) as I had never been to this local brewery before. Great suggestion! Their motto is "Different on purpose and purposely making a difference." okay, cool! I did a tasting flight of 4 pours. All were very good & worthy of a pint. The flight started off with "Come as you are," a nice Nirvana tribute with a subtle peach nose. A "Midsummer's Dream," a hazy pale ale, followed with more sweet texture and acidity. Both were refreshing...summer in a glass...or two! All were delicious, but "Blur in Time" (ABV:6.8) a cream stout made with a cold brew concentrate from Ocean Beach Roasters was the standout for me here. Creamy and complex, this will be my next pour when I return. They are currently in the process of building a new outdoor space which is going to be a great addition to the downtown scene! Bottom line, MOB has a chill vibe, a low key friendly staff and is a great place to explore some new flavors.

Local Brewery in Aberdeen. Outdoor seating only during covid. interior very clean modern. Beers- tried 4. Mt. deception- amazing coconut flavor porter and smooth. Summer crusher - ginger and lemon hazy IPA. Come as you are- easily drinkable tropical fruit notes. Blur in Time- creamy stout tastes like cream soda and cold brew coffee. Some of the best craft beers in Washington. description is spot on with how beers tastes. $2.50 per 3 oz sampler pour. Read reviews about patrons. Today was a good day for that. As a POC, i'm always on lookout when going to small towns and conservative areas. just a few other locals around and friendly. guess i lucked out. Bathrooms clean. Always a plus in my book. stop by here if you're going to the coast or passing through. Would put this up against any big city brewery. Well done. Keep it up!

Great food and beer. Puppy and family friendly. Huge comfy shaded outdoor area. Air conditioning inside. Must stop in the harbor. Try the homemade salsa. And beer cheese sauce. Thank me later.

I could only decide (because there were ingenious choices) when our bar server, Hannah, suggested "Sweet Heat." Listed under "Pinsa Flat Bread" it came out 12"x6" thick bread perfectly browned in oven with gooey garlic/mozzarella but, wait, caramelized onions, thick-diced grilled chicken that tasted like bacon. Every two or three inches, one pickled jalapeño perfectly placed for heat that didn't burn, and over it all, drizzled HOT HONEY!!! My mouth was ecstatic. Pretty soon I couldn't wait to cut with my fork and knife to have my third and fourth triangled piece. Sitting, leaning over the high long bar, I just held the sticky, sweet cheesy spicy bread with all ten fingers tipping my head to catch the drips. Passion Orange Guava Cider washed it all down. I made a trip to the restroom and wash my hands then stopped at the kitchen window to rave about the menu with Clayton, the cook. This was all on a summer Monday night in June, low west sun shining into the cozy wood space, baseball silenced on the three screens, fun, toe-tapping music the whole two hours we stayed. The Gibbons couple have scored the times with their courage to do local, unusual creative food with a dialed-back vintage vibe.

Italian stack was good and what you would expect, not bad and not exceptional. Hot honey pepperoni pizza was a special. Thin chewy crust, thin layer of cheese & pepperoni. The hot honey was not spicy at all but the sweetness over the pepperoni was the star. Great spot for good beer, reliable American food, and to chill.

We got there around 6:30 PM on Thursday evening and the wait was about 20 minutes for families, but we sat at the bar at a high top and got right in. We found service to be friendly and prompt. The gentleman who was taking care of us was attentive without being pushy. We started with the fried pickles which came out with ranch and aïoli for dipping. It was a huge portion. Tasty indeed. While I know pickles are inherently salty, I did find these to be exceptionally salty, leaving me to wonder if the batter was also salted, which definitely would not be necessary. Just know that if you are planning on ordering them. We also both got the Smoked Steak Salad. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed. Both of them came with a very generous serving of meat. The meat was just OK. They do not ask you how you would like your steak cooked, so once I got it, that made sense. I'm guessing they don't just smoke it for a little bit and finish the cooking it another way because it is well done with some rough bits - perhaps leftovers from something else. Honestly, I would prefer to have a nice juicy steak on top of a salad, and while I enjoyed this enough, I probably would not get it again for this reason. We both got a beer flight too, and found all four choices to be really good! I will definitely come back here when I'm tired of options at Great Wolf. I'd be interested in trying their sandwiches, as I saw a couple people with French Dips that looked really good.

We were excited, greeted nicely and were sat down pretty quickly. Then it took a turn. Our waiter took alittle while to get to us. Once he did, he was basically rushing to get our order. 20 mins later came back with our water and my husbands Bourbon Flight. This is me by the way looking at my photo album to track the time. 25 mins later our appetizer came and they were delish. We had ordered Garlic Parmesan Wings and Giant Pretzel. We waited over an hour and our waiter finally comes back to tell us that due to a Big Table outside our food is running behind, we said that's fine. 30 mins later, he comes back and tells us he mistakenly did not put our orders in and he takes full accountability but the fact that he only placed 1/2 of order and realized it an hour and a half later and waited 30 mins passed to tell us was beyond acceptable. We had a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old babies with us, we got there at 5:15pm and left at 8pm with no Main Course, we decided to leave and they offered to give us our main dishes for free and that had to pay for our apps and drinks. At that point, we weren't even hungry anymore- we were more upset than hungry. Word of Advise- don't dismiss a table of 5 for a table of 20. That party of 20 already includes 16%-18% Gratuity on their Tab, whereas a table of 5 could be giving you 20%-25% Gratuity for yourself only & not to have to share with other servers esp. if you are given cash. That table of 5 could sit there for hours just sitting and chatting and won't turn the tables over to new guest, whereas a table of 5 can eat, enjoy their meal, give good tip and leave within an hour and a half. And you'll have new table instantly, more money for you. To the kitchen staff, don't walk past your guests when they're asking you a question and as if they didn't exist. I'd hate to think it's Race Discrimination because we were the only Asians there but that's definitely how it felt.
