Great little spot with awesome staff if you are staying at The Loge. It was very convenient to have these things on site.

I was visiting from out of town and within walking distance of this place. I ordered a chicken,…read morebacon, ranch pizza on the cauliflower crust to go. The employee that took my call and gave me my pizza was a really, nice guy. Cauliflower crust is always a gamble but this was really good! The texture was great and it held up under the toppings. Overall I was glad I took a chance here. Once I got there I realized they had a large, nice outdoor seating area. I suspect I probably could have taken my dogs there and eaten the pizza outside. Next time!

I had the Pale ale very smooth and crisp and hubby had the Sunset ale which was bright and fruity. Food was decent, typical American. We had cheesy breadsticks which was basically a cheese pizza cut up into strips served with a side of cold marinara. Caesar salad was decent, it wasn't mixed, dressing & cheese just on top. Italian stack was good and what you would expect, not bad and not exceptional. Hot honey pepperoni pizza was a special. Thin chewy crust, thin layer of cheese & pepperoni. The hot honey was not spicy at all but the sweetness over the pepperoni was the star. Great spot for good beer, reliable American food, and to chill.

Pretzel with beer cheese, was more like a beer cheese sauce, little on the thin side.

Once seated ("I'll seat you here, because the table is the only clean one") in a pub atmosphere that only had 3 tables with patrons in the establishment. It was NOT busy. Ordered 2 coffees and a diet coke. Had to remind her twice before getting it delivered. Ordering a simple breakfast, a sausage and cheese omelet and chicken fried steak. The toast on the plates were hard yet not overly toasted. The gravy and the potatoes were the best part of all 3 meals. Let me say, the omelet was smaller than the toast in comparison. The waitress abandoned ship and slid off the radar... we had to ask another matey to refill the coffee and he did so very promptly! He was the better part of the experience. Nothing better than a "local chain" breakfast stop. Stick to mom and pops place or cross the street for a Taco!

We were hungry, so we didn't think about wanting to travel to Aberdeen for breakfast. We were desperate for food, so we decided to sit down. Needless to say, we had to wait like 1+ hour for our orders of breakfast. I literally had to skip on my biscuit/gravy order due to staffing issue and time constraint. The server was very polite, but we just could not get past the whole 1+ hour of waiting for breakfast. The food was ok. We won't come back.

We requested a table move and actually moved ourselves. The strawberry lemonade was good. The food - problems: the Shrimp "scampi" was fettuccine and the sauce broken. A gluten glob at best laying in a puddle of oil. The Muscles marinera was over sauced and should (in our opinion) have come with bread of some kind. The Rib Eye (ordered medium rare) was anorexic in cut and prepared medium/well. The better part of service was Amy. Our server was pleasant and communicated well. Our appetizer was calamari and unevenly prepared. It arrived with the meal and came only once we reminded it hadn't began our dining experience. The meal took 1 hour 10 minutes to be served in total. For what it cost, it may have been better spent elsewhere. 3 stars is a stretch. 2 star meal bonus point added for service.

Sadly, they had no chardonnay for me, just pinot grigio which I ordered 'cause hubby really wanted a beer by now. The bartender was nice and apologetic that she didn't have my preferred wine. I have to also mention that we were here off-season, so perhaps things are different in-season. What I don't understand is why don't these restaurants just buy a box of decent chardonnay (NOT an oxymoron) and keep it in the fridge for when someone orders it. I mean, a box stays fresh for 30 days or more, so it's not a big deal to just have that on hand when some high-maintenance Chardonnay drinker like me shows up unexpectedly! (Ha...I'm not high-maintenance) The location was pretty cool, overlooking the marina, so that was a plus. But, if they don't have your drink...well, sometimes you just can't recover from that.
