While I was waiting in the drive thru, I noticed a woman carrying orders out to customers parked for curbside pickup. When I reached the window, I waited a few minutes before anyone appeared. I soon realized why. The same woman delivering the curbside orders was also working the drive thru window. I asked if she was having to do everything herself. She explained that only two employees were working. The other employee was preparing the food while she handled everything else. I told her that had to be incredibly difficult to juggle. She agreed, but said she had no choice when people called out. Her name is Lisa. I did not ask if she was the manager, but I do know this: Lisa had a FAR BETTER attitude while doing the work of several people than many fast food employees have while doing only one job. She remained pleasant, professional, and kind despite being stretched in every direction. That is why I asked for her name and whether she would allow me to take her photo for this review. Lisa deserves to be recognized, as does the employee who was working alongside her that evening. They were doing the best they could with only two people, and they handled a very difficult situation with grace. I hope management recognizes and appreciates them both! This visit was on August 18.
