My dispute is currently with the Star Program; I was offered a Triple-Star day deal, which I accepted via the app 5/26/24 @ $19.77, but only received double stars. When I called the store they confirmed that for them it was a Double-Star day. I checked my email to find this was incorrect. Now, if the store wasn't participating, then I'd just appreciate more transparency in the app about location-based deals. I put in a mobile order before arriving hoping that it would be ready a few minutes after I arrive, they weren't that busy once I arrived so I decided to park and go inside. I waited for 20 minutes for 2 coffees. They finally called my name to have the incorrect coffees ready for me. There was only one girl who actually asked me for my name and I wish I remembered because she was the only capable person working there. The rest were standing around talking to each other. I would love to know why it is that when I go to Starbucks, what is known as the custom coffee go to I am criticised for my order. This was at 8:09am. In my opinion they should be able to handle this better at this time of day. I ordered my coffee which was a cinnamon dolche iced coffee with coconut milk and 15 pumps of vanilla. It's a recommendation from a friend. First off, it took forever. Then to my surprise these baristas are making fun of my coffee! How incredibly rude! These women are actually sitting in front of me laughing about my order. "15 pumps of vanilla! Are you serious" one rude barista said The other woman scoffs "I wish I was kidding!" Then they both shake their heads I disgust like I am somehow wrong or disgusting for my order. If that's not enough, they put my coffee in the mobile order area. So I'm standing around for 20 minutes when I am leaving town. It is incredibly offensive to me that they were ridiculing me for my order. This is some shoddy customer service. Purchased a Grande toasted white chocolate latte only to receive what looks like a tall beverage in a grande cup. When I took my cup it felt so light but The line was long so I drove off and when I opened my cup it was a third empty! So disappointing , if I'm buying a grande size I expect a full grande beverage. Coming from an area where there is a coffee shop on every block to a town where the only option is Starbucks is rough. That being said, it's Starbucks so it can't be bad right? Well, it WOULDN'T be bad if this location didn't consistently not fill my cup with the coffee I paid for. The first time I called to ask why, I was helped by a very nice guy named Patrick. I went back the next day with my kids to get another drink and a hot cocoa for my son. This starbucks and the other two starbucks in town are constantly busy. It doesn't matter what time of day you try to visit there will be a drive thru line. They are the best coffee shop on Veterans and they have good locations strategically located by either OSF & the mall or by both the State Farm campuses. It's no wonder they are busy. My favorite drink is the soy chai latte. As I mentioned in my tip, if you want the vanilla soy milk, that's all they serve for soy so don't ask for vanilla specially I've been charged for vanilla when not paying attention. An additional tip, this parking lot is ridiculous with tight turns and its a one wAy. Bring your patients to this parking lot, you will need it. read more

Came into this Starbucks during our trip, typical Starbucks experience, however we felt it was worth yelping about the experience we had with this location prior to our trip. We had never been to Bloomington before and had no idea what to expect of the city. We were attending a graduation in Urbana where all hotels were booked for the weekend. We called this location and asked the person who answered several questions about the area. She was very helpful and assisted us in making our decision to stay there. On the corner of a busy intersection and right across from Statefarm, this Starbucks is always busy. However, don't be intimidated by the long drive thru line during coffee rush hours, this place is well trained and the line moves very fast. I love Starbucks. This one is legit good. The staff is always friendly, they make my order well...though one off thing: they have stopped asking what my name is that I want to have written on drink cups. So instead of waiting for my drink to be made and listening for my name, I have to pay great attention to the type of drink that they are saying is ready....and on at least 3 occasions....the same drink was ordered by someone else ahead of me. Then that uncomfortable moment comes when you realize it's not *your* drink...uh....but instead, it's someone else's drink that just happened to get made before you ordered the very same thing. It's frustrating, to say the least... So, other than the odd thing abt them no longer asking people what their name is, so nobody will inadvertently take another person's drink -- I would go here again. Went to this Starbucks a few days ago with a gift card I got for Christmas and since I don't drink coffee I decided to order a sandwich. The bun was burnt and there was hardly any meat. it was was gross and the cost was over 7$. It was a waste of money and so glad I didn't spend my own. I always get a frappe mobile order from this store fast and super friendly but TODAY.. I was greeted EXTRA special. The day started off first i was running late and then i ran out of gas on my way to start my day... so by the time i got to Starbucks and got my mobile order it was soupy and gross!!! The Manager seen i was having a bad day and remade my order fresh! I cannot tell you how amazing day brighting that is! She didn't have to re make it considering it was my fault for everything that happen but she did! IT REALLY IS THE LITTLE THINGS! THANK YOU AGAIN!!! Went into this Starbucks and got ignored by multiple barista because they new the guy behind me. When someone finally pointed out they skipped me, they were still too business to listen to my order. In the past I would visit this particular Starbucks 3 sometimes 4 days a week. The management and the employees were extremely friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure that customers were happy and felt like they were amongst friends. My wife and I have now stopped going to this Starbucks as our orders have been consistantly wrong or missing items. I'm sorry but if it is on the menu, have the items to make it. If it is seasonal, take it off the menu after the season if you cannot make it correctly. All of the former employees and manager have left and gone on to other things, leaving new employees that are not really very friendly at all and a few are quite rude. The only thing this Starbucks has going for it is location to a corporate headquarters and is constantly busy, so I'm sure my opinion as a former customer will make no difference in their day to day operations. read more
