They technically have boba they can add to any tea or drink you choose, but unless they simply didn't offer it, there is no variety. Kid had a strawberry drink she said was very good, but when it got to the boba she didn't like it and didn't finish it. Her favorite place offers all kinds of boba, including fizzy boba. That being said, they have a wide array of drinks, which means you don't have to be a coffee or tea drinker to enjoy what they serve. There are some good looking concoctions there! The staff was very friendly, and they have a nice little selection of merchandise that is imported straight from china, which is always cool to see. I wound up getting a stuffy for the kid. They also had hair clips, jewelry, pens, and some other goodies. I may stop in myself sometime for a drink. The prices seemed reasonable, and the drink seemed like it was made with care. There were more than a few Biggby's around, when I lived in Toledo. The issue was that there were plenty of other coffee shops, both mom n' pop and large Starbucks of the world that I really didn't see the merit of Biggby. It may also have something to do with the fact that I'm more of a straight black coffee drinker and usually don't drink "sweet" latte drinks. It seemed like Biggby was more specialized in those craft drinks. This one in Ellettsville, Indiana, I personally think had better quality drinks when I visited. Between the three of us, we ordered one medium roast brew, one craft latte and one fruity drink. All of them came out fine. The atmosphere of the shop itself was also interesting. The shop was in a converted old bank building, which gave it bit of a charm. The main entrance still had an old deposit box next to the door, and drive-thru lanes still had the drive-thru deposit/ATM feel to them. It was also relatively busy, the location being on a corner of one of the main roads of the town. Three nice young bubbly ladies were the baristas inside. When we walked in, there was only one customer, so we made some small chatters and they were all very nice. Once I placed my order though, a few more Door Dash pick-ups came in and the girls became really busy, taking a bit longer than expected to get my food and drinks out. I was here for business, so I'm not sure if I'll ever be back in this area to revisit, but all in all, it wasn't a bad experience at all.

Mine happened to be one of the less-full ones, but it was so tasty that I even came back for more. In Bloomington, I've tried both Smoothie King and Rush Bowl. Rush Bowl definitely gives you more quantity, but their açaí bowls taste icy and have a hard, slushy texture. Smoothie King's bowls, on the other hand, are soft, smooth, and packed with flavor. There was one visit where someone took my order out of the mobile order pick up fridge. They seem to have more people now than ever working but they still have someone very new working by himself on a Thursday night.

The texture was almost closer to sorbet than ice cream, which was fine but not what I was expecting. The flavor was great though - the peach base and black raspberry ripple were very tart and juicy which balanced out the sweetness. The small size is 2 generous scoops which was plenty for me. The waffle cone was also very good, tasted fresh. The person who took my order and scooped my ice cream was nice and checked to make sure that I knew the peach melba was non-dairy since I didn't specify. I'm looking forward to trying more of the non-dairy flavors!
