UPDATE: Changed from 2 stars to 5 stars after the owner's response…read more I want to update this review because how a business responds when something goes wrong matters just as much as the original experience. My primary issue during our visit was never the food. Several things we ordered were genuinely delicious. My frustration was with the service and how the issues we encountered were handled in the moment. I also want to clarify why I left the original review. My intention wasn't to attack the business, get anyone in trouble, demand compensation, or cause a scene. I simply wanted to bring legitimate service issues to someone who could address them. The owner's response did exactly that. She acknowledged the problems directly, didn't dismiss or argue with the feedback, took responsibility despite not personally being there, provided helpful context about that week without using it as an excuse, and made it clear that the feedback would be used to improve things with the staff. That was about as good a response as I could have hoped for. Because of that, the concerns that drove my original rating are essentially resolved. A bad interaction can happen anywhere, particularly while new staff are being trained. What matters is whether the business cares when something goes wrong, and the owner's response made it clear that she does. My girlfriend and I live in town, so we will absolutely be back. I appreciate the owner's offer to make things right, but there's no need to comp or replace anything for us. We'll happily return as paying customers. I wasn't looking for free food--just acknowledgment that what happened wasn't the standard they wanted to provide, and I received considerably more than that. So I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 5. Not because the problems during the original visit didn't happen, but because the owner's response changed what those problems tell me about the business. The food already gave us reasons to return. The way the owner handled the criticism gave us confidence that we should. Original review: The food had some genuinely great high points, but the service and attention to detail were really disappointing. The Mexican rice bowl was delicious, and the steak in particular was excellent. The chai latte and strawberry colada were also both really good. Unfortunately, several other parts of the experience went downhill from there. I ordered the quinoa wrap specifically because I wanted a wrap, not a bowl. When it was brought out, the person delivering it actually said, "If it falls apart, I'm sorry." Sure enough, it immediately fell apart. It wasn't rolled properly, the opening was positioned on the bottom, and the tortilla was already extremely wet from the beans. There was essentially no way to pick it up and eat it as a wrap. I tried, failed, and had to dump everything into the container and eat it as a bowl. The resulting quinoa "bowl" was actually pretty good and was similar to the Mexican rice bowl, just with quinoa instead of Mexican rice. The problem is that I specifically ordered a wrap, not a bowl, and the amount of food I ended up with was considerably smaller than what comes with an actual bowl. My girlfriend ordered the Mexican rice bowl, and hers appeared to have roughly twice as much food as my wrap once it was dumped out. If the staff already knows a wrap is likely to fall apart before it even reaches the customer, that probably needs to be fixed rather than apologized for preemptively. The avocado toast was another disappointment. It was supposed to come with boiled egg, but the egg was missing. As soon as I noticed, I went to the front and asked whether it was supposed to include one. I was told, "Yes, but we are out." Nobody had mentioned that when we ordered or before serving it. When I pointed out that nobody told me, the response was simply "sorry," followed by looking away. There was no offer to substitute something, adjust the order, or otherwise make it right. I didn't ask for a refund because the money isn't really the issue. What bothered me was receiving something different from what I purchased and seeing essentially zero effort to address it. If you're out of an ingredient that's explicitly part of a menu item, just tell the customer before serving it so they can decide whether they still want it. The avocado toast itself was okay. My girlfriend liked it more than I did. Also, the sweet tea was definitely not sweet. I tipped over $12, and in hindsight I regret doing so. There was good food here, and some of it was genuinely delicious, but the service made the experience far more frustrating than it needed to be. Mistakes and shortages happen. What matters is how they're handled, and that's where this visit really fell short.

Drive-through was getting stuff before me. I don't think it should ever take 30 minutes to get 1 drink but it is really good coffee
