And here she is again, reviewing a Starbucks! This Starbucks is brand new, and for all you bougie basics like me, even comes complete with a DRIVE THRU! Word on the street is that this was an old bank, so instead of taking out the drive up windows when renovating, they just decided to make it easy for us lazy morning commuters who don't want to walk into the coffee shop and run into five people she went to high school with that all have children named Jayden (or is that just me?) I prefer this location to the old one, which was just a hop, skip, and jump away in the neighboring plaza. The store is sparkling clean with tons of seating and plugs for chargers. It doesn't feel cramped or crowded like its predecessor, and is actually a place where I look forward to getting work done or hanging out with friends over an iced tea. I just discovered the mobile ordering on the app (I know, I'm stuck in 2012), and I have to say I'm totally obsessed with customizing my drinks! They got my mobile order wrong when I visited here the other day (sad trombone), but cheerfully replaced it with the correct drink in no time. I was happily sipping my Peach Refresher minutes later. I get a coffee here quite frequently in the monrings (with no complaints) and I was appalled at the attitude my fiance and I received while getting a coffee this afternoon. I ordered a nitro cold brew with coconut milk and ice(ordered this a million times in my morning commute with no issues). We paid and and started driving off and noticed there was no ice, so we drove back through the drive-thru. We asked for a bigger cup with ice so I could just pour the other one in. The girl who was working the window had an attitude, questioning whether I wanted a cold brew and that ice doesn't come in this cup. After giving us a bigger cup with ice, she didn't look at my fiance and just handed the cup without saying anything. I worked as a waitress for 5 years in my early 20s and I emphasize with those who work in the business. But for paying $5 for a coffee, just cut the attitude! read more

they completely messed up both of my drink orders after i had to reorder them multiple times for the woman at the register to keep retyping the orders. i ordered a grande decaf iced latte made with oat milk and 2 pumps of pumpkin and i got a medium pumpkin spice latte with 4 pumps of pumpkin and they tried to put whip cream on top. I asked them to make it for a nut allergy and the woman at the register and the man making the drinks gave me a hard time. "what do you want me to do about it" is what i was told and the woman at the register didn't understand what a nut allergy was. i then ordered a grande pumpkin cream cold brew with a splash of whole milk and they made a cold brew with oat milk pumpkin cream cold foam and a splash of oat milk. They did this after i clarified twice that it was whole milk not oat milk. this is unacceptable on so many levels and something needs to be done about the staff and their behavior. read more

* racist * I always come to this Starbucks because it's 10 minutes away from my house and never had any issue. Today however I felt really disrespected. I pulled up to the front window to pay for my drink and there was a tip jar with money in it , 5 dollars maybe 6 at most. It was a busy afternoon so there was a lot of cars in front of me , the tip jar was sitting there the whole time. Once I pulled up to the window the cashier literally took the tip jar and put it inside, I'm assuming it's because I'm black. He took out the dollar bills then put the empty jar back as Im waiting for my order. Before y'all try to say he had to move it because it was full IT WAS NOT. I tipped his sorry self $5.00. If you wait a long time it's 99.99% caused because the staff would rather talk to each other about what they did last night. There's always one or two good ones but the rest suck. Gave this location a couple of chances before settling on a single star review. Given the location and the proximity to the next closest Starbucks, you can imagine that this location would be a hot commodity. Using that same information, it would also be fair to assume that speedy staff and efficient service would be the name of the game. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. Expect 15+ minute waits on the weekend with the line piling up into the foyer (with inclement weather) or extending out the door onto the sidewalk. Being the second weekend in a row that I've tried this location, only 4 staff were working on both occasions - certainly not enough given the volume of customers even if the workers were hustling. Thankfully, there is a Marylou's and a Dunkies both within a half mile from this Starbucks. read more

I have a particular love-hate relationship with this location. I love everything coffee and everything about it, but like in Amanda C.'s post, the staff here really makes the difference, and it's not in a great way. First off, the parking is a total giant cluster-you-know-what, but this is the only one in the area so it's a catch-22. Between Rt. 123 merging from two lanes to one in front of the entrance, people make their own spots as close as possible often double-parking others to avoid walking any further than what they feel entitled to. I swear, i think some people would drive through the front door if they could get away with it. (Seriously, if you're going to double-park others and then make it a point to beat me in the door after I walked a few extra steps from a legit parking spot to stand in front of me to order a frappucino with extra whipped cream and chocolate sauce, I will give you a look because let's face it ... walking some extra steps back to your car will only help you in this situation.) The staff leaves much to be desired. I know it's early in the morning, and I know you're busy, but it is true that a smile goes a long way. I don't order anything "special" and certainly nothing hard to make. A simple "good morning" will suffice and will make guests feel welcome. read more

Coffee was delicious. This location only gets 2 stars because of the service. Unfortunately I won't be back. I've gone to other businesses that are open now with restrictions and received great service. This was the first time I've walked into a Starbucks since February!! I was not aware of the new set up and restrictions for Starbucks. Unfortunately I was treated poorly as if I was bothering them with my presence because I wasn't quite sure of their new policies. The staff here is rude, plain and simple. I ordered a venti latte iced and the shots tasted very watered down And sorry but if I'm paying 5.50 for a coffee I don't want it watered down I told one of the girls that worked there and she told me it didn't look watered down? How can you tell unless you tasted it yourself? I then asked for a refund and she said rudely I had to wait back in line. I than took the coffee and told her I won't be back again. Only location in Brockton/Easton area, which is kind of a bummer if your used to Bostons one on every corner. Same as any Starbucks goes with the coffee. My only issue is with the staff. They really aren't very welcoming or friendly. Instead of listening to me or even asking me how my day is their chatting with one another. Who are you having a conversation with? The customer or your fellow employee? Didn't know if she was talking to me or not. Very clean, very fast and efficient. read more

I can't remember another time I've ever left a Starbucks store feeling annoyed, so I was pretty surprised by the experience I just had at this one! I bought two Coffee Refill tumblers at the location near my work, and then realized that they're not doing an espresso refill cup this year for some reason. Since I don't think I've ever kept a Starbucks receipt in my life, and I planned these as Christmas gifts, I didn't take my receipt when I left the store. Then I realized I couldn't use the second tumbler as a gift, because it's for coffee only, and seriously, I don't know anyone who goes to Starbucks for brewed coffee. I brought it to the Starbucks nearest my house over the weekend to return it, and the woman behind the counter was short, rude, and critical about it, spouting "we aren't supposed to do this" while not making eye contact and refusing to credit my registered Starbucks card. That might be a company policy thing, so red faced and apologetic, I backed off and waited by the bar for my drink. I asked the barista there to please fill my (refillable) water bottle for me... And she said no!? According to her, it's a liability for them to refill refillable bottles. Awesome. She did offer to fill a plastic cup for me, but I carry refillable bottles because I want to cut down on plastic waste, an initiative that Starbucks pushes on a national level. They sell about a million different refillable cups, including a $1 cup that they're hoping people will buy to cut back on waste, but they won't refill a refillable water bottle with water? Weird right? These people are downright surly. Next time I'll go somewhere else. read more

The manager of the Starbucks1285 Belmont Street location [Jennifer] is rude and emotionless. She's been the manager for years. She accused me of lying when I attempted to return an item a few years ago. I contacted the Seattle District Manager, however she continued to be rude. I have been a regular customer for a long time. The shop is grossly mismanaged, with typical wait time approximately 20 minutes for a latte in the morning. I would have been long gone at my company with an attitude toward customers like that! The manager's attitude is "arrogance." The Westgate Starbucks has better trained employees, who treat customers like they matter. It all goes back to management at the local level. I think its time for Seattle to pay an unannounced visit. read more

This is one of the worst Starbucks I have gone to. Each time I've gone it takes over 10 mins to make a simple grande drink. Even worse last time I went it took the guy almost ten mins to realize my payment didn't clear because he didn't go back to check it. After that it took almost another 10 mins to make my drink. So I spent over 20 mins waiting for one small drink. All I got was a "thank you for waiting" like he actually cared. And my drink didn't even taste right but I had enough and did not want to wait for a remake. Another time I went the girl was too busy singing to actually make my drink properly. Strong coffee!!! The extra I was spending for a Turbo shot at DD is equivalent to a regular here. The coffee has no after taste of chemicals and the servers are extremely professional. If you get confused with the language just say Small, medium, large, trust me they get it! It is expensive if you are a fancy, frappa, lappa, foamy type, and That's ok tooo! read more

So, I've frequented the Starbucks on Belmont St for almost five years now, ever since I moved to Easton. If I were writing this review two weeks ago (before they moved to the other end of the same of strip mall), it would have been 4 or 5 stars. It was always what I would expect from a Starbucks. Consistency. But, as I said, they moved two doors down, and I don't know what happened. Suddenly they always forget the food on my mobile order. The coffee is there waiting for me, but they don't start to make the food until I show up and ask where the food item is. They've done this to me three times since they moved. All three times the person that was making drinks had to yell over to the people making the food items, as they were just standing around. And today, on top of that, I got home and the food item that I had to wait for was the wrong thing. This never happened before the store moved.They only moved two doors over. What happened? Did they replace everyone on their staff in the process of moving? read more

Coffee is great, I have recently become a huge fan of Starbucks as I find the quality is highest and most consistent among the stores. The place has space and is kept clean but much like most others I order basic drinks and walk out. Even on Sundays I have no desire to stick around due to a staff that is not friendly to those who don't come everyday. I know they can be friendly to the regulars, as I've seen it, but even when I walk in saying hi and asking how are you, being stared at with no response is rude and frustrating. I would live to see a little customer service training here, as well as a new location in Bridgewater (preferably near the university as that is where I work!) read more
