The store is clean! Has great customer service. I recommend you stop by! My drink is always on queue!

I was there today, a Weds morning barely anyone else there. I ordered several things and had a 3 year old with me. We are staying at campbells. The staff was so rude at every step of the process I thought they must be joking. I will never set foot in a Starbucks again. I spent $75 dollars and was treated like an indigent person. So absolutely bizarre in a tourist/vacation town. Shame on you. They didn't ask my name for my order just told me to go to the end of the counter and wait. So I sat my toddler on the very edge of the very end of a 10 foot long counter when a worker came and said can you please remove your child from the counter we serve food on this counter.(so many points of failure in that sentence, they literally have an entire section of the counter dedicated to food pickup that was 10 feet away, the little step system very obvious). Then the elderly cashier was trying to get my attention - never asked my name - from across the store while I'm minding my toddler at the literal other end of the store. Another customer brought it to me and they both acted like I shouldve known I was being beckoned from 50 feet away by a woman I couldn't even hear when I was standing in front of her. Then we waited and waited when the same employee came up and asked me in the same irritating voice that he had used before if we were waiting for food items I said yes, we are standing here waiting for our food items. Then he made me name off everything I had ordered which was like seven things and then he went and got them somewhere else like over by the cash register and basically walked over and flung them down in front of me. I am a 59 year old woman on vacation with my 3 year old granddaughter. This is the most embarrassing customer service I've ever experienced. Rude as hell. read more

Most of the staff have terrible service and are very passive aggressive and rude. They also make customers wait for a while when there is nobody inside or in the drive-thru. read more

This was by far the worst service ever recieved. We came between 2-4 pm. I think Emily was working the window. When we started ordering she was overly aggressive. Then making payment she was extremely rude and condescending. Finished off our experience with slamming the window closed. read more

We love this place. We probably enjoy iced coffee and iced Chai lattes and pup cups, at least 4 or 5 times a week. The recognize our voices when we order and usually remember our consistent orders. Mystic, our Boarder Collie, enjoys the warm welcome the folks at the window have for her when they present her pup cup. We have been to hundreds of Starbucks through the years, stopping at the recognizable logo for refreshment, snacks, clean rest rooms and Internet when we travel in our RV. But, there is no place like home and the Chelan Starbucks. read more

Honestly never had a bad experience here being a local. Went today and I admit we went close to closing time. Working in the food service industry for years I understand you begin to clean before closing, but you take orders until closing time in most cases. Lady here was extremely rude and told us " next time come earlier because we clean up before closing time" was completely inappropriate to say to a customer. Doesn't end there, if her saying that wasn't enough she still wrote a sad face on the cup? Not sure what her name was she was probably in her 30's, blonde hair and glasses. read more

This is one of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to! Yes, it is very nice looking and modern but there are other things. The drive through line was almost empty but took me about 30 minutes to get through?? And the sandwich was burnt and way smaller than other locations. Go to a local coffee shop here instead. read more

This is a very busy Starbucks. It's the only one in town so if you want Starbucks it's where you, and everyone else, end up. Staff is very nice and working as fast as possible. It's not the fastest Starbucks in the world so be prepared to wait a few minutes. The staff works very efficiently and at one point I counted 8 staff members racing around. The store is very clean. I've been here every other day of my vacation! Prices a bit higher than I'm used to. Please stop adding a surcharge for nondairy milk! read more

This is definitely the Starbucks you want to go to if you want your order to be ignored and you are totally up for a mystery drink. We go almost daily when we are in Chelan and only once did they actually get our order right -- which is funny since the ONLY change we make is the number of syrup pumps we get. One day we got too much syrup, the next day we barely got any syrup at all. I don't mind the mess ups if only they DID NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR LESS SYRUPS -- so while I'm getting a Venti Peppermint Latte WITH HALF THE PUMPS, I'm still getting charged an extra $.85 PER PUMP MISSING. And god forbid you ask for food with your order. My breakfast sandwich came in pieces and all the cheese had, literally, fallen out of the sandwich and onto the bag. I think we've learned our lesson and will fly to Colombia or Guatemala to make our coffee instead of visiting this starbucks. read more

I gave one star, but it should be no stars. We ordered a Pumpkin Latte and Pecan Crunch Latte, 55 mins later we walked out without drinks. They had 9 people working. One was training another. You would think the trainer or manager in back would step in and help when they were in the weeds, but they did not. When I went to get my money back, that process was taking so long I just walked away. I have had bad service at Starbucks before but this takes the cake. I am done with Starbucks. read more

Came here at 5:40 am before our drive back to Seattle... and WOW. I've never had worse service at a Starbucks! The older lady working the drive-thru was rude, kind of a "whadya want" attitude. Whether or not it was intentional, I don't know. Just seemed annoyed we were even there. Even though we were practically the only ones there, it took an extremely long time to receive our three drinks. In the end, 2/3 of our drinks were wrong, but we just decided we didn't want to wait again. read more

I've been to a lot of Starbucks, and have probably felt the urge to review businesses less than 5 times in my life. This was hands down the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The slowest service imaginable. Employees who didn't care at all to even attempt to provide a decent customer experience. Disappointed regarding Starbucks recent "Pop up Party" promotion. The promotion advertised 1000 Washington State locations that would offer a free drink between 1 p.m. in 2 p.m. .The locations were said to change daily until the end of the year. That's a pretty cool promotion! I was excited to learn that the one and only location in Chelan was on the list for the actual day I was in town, so we stopped by. Albeit a little early, I thought I'd ask about it anyway. It was obvious I caught the barista by surprise. She hadn't heard of the pop-up party promotion, the free drinks, etc. (We were in the drive through) After a few seconds she came back and said over the speaker that they weren't participating at this location. Once we got to the window I pulled out my phone and showed her the Starbucks website with the promotion and their store listed as a participant. She told me the closest location for that promotion would be in Spokane and Seattle. That's a 3 hour drive to either location. The manager was not on site. The barista was friendly and professional so I have nothing bad to say about her. The problem I see, is in the lack of communication between corporate and the actual store employees. If you're going to offer a nationwide promotion then communicate that with your stores and honor it. read more

Mobile order quick and convenient, but cup size overlooked or ignored (affects the drink). Pretty messy store. You would think it was in the homeless areas in Yakima or Spokane, and not the cute tourist Tom of Chelan. Napkin holders empty. Filthy bathroom, paper everywhere, toilet paper roll just sitting on top of dispenser. read more

Wow just so darn rude. Never have I ever had such BAD customer service! I just asked for the biggest cup of ice water on top of all the other drinks I had ordered for my family. And they told me I can only have a tall..??? Why? It's so hot outside and you refuse to give me that but I can purchase any size other drink! I am just appalled. And on top of all that they did not give me the water either. Then had the nerve to ask for a TIP!? Get real. read more

I wouldn't normally post a review for Starbucks but I'm surprised with how low of a rating this location has. I've never had any issues whenever I stop by when I'm in town. The workers are friendly and service is as quick as it can be. This place gets slammed in the summer since it's the only Starbucks in the area. Punished for mobile ordering! It took 35 minutes for me to get my mobile order at the Starbucks. Watching people walk in an order and get their drinks instantly, keep a close through the drive-through and get their drinks really quickly, and we were standing there waiting. And then they didn't make our drinks in the right order, so by the time my drink was done, our breakfast sandwiches were cold and my husbands drink had gone lukewarm because all of the ice has melted. read more

Ok . Starbucks is starbucks. The stAff is nice enough but the wait is awful. The parking situation is dangerous! The only way out of parking spot is to get In drive thru line (although some crazy drivers were backing out into traffic. ). The police should be involved it is that bad when busy to avoid accidents! read more

You should do a mobile order ahead of time. Orders take a very long time and it's always packed during peak season. We put in our mobile orders 20 minutes prior to arrival as we headed out the door for daily morning walks. read more

My GF white chocolate mocha taste different than what she use to and she have it every morning. I think they might have put my non fat milk in it. The line was insanely long- it's took us about half an hour from getting in line to getting our drink. The girl behind the counter was cute and friendly- they have about 10 people working this morning, but still not fast enough. Definitely deserving of the overall 2 star review. 9+ people behind the counter and still a backup? 3 out the 4 drinks ordered were incorrect and when brought back there was no acknowledgement of it and rudeness. I ordered a tall Chile mocha and was given a Chile mocha half filled? One Vanilla bean frappuccino with caramel drizzle, without the drizzle. One grande Pike that took more than 10 minutes to be poured. The final straw was when we asked for non fat milk for our Dopio and not only did the girl overfill my cup but then went on to pour milk all over my hand without any remorse or apology. Rudeness beyond belief. All this and it took 25 min for four drinks? Good luck when going to this location. Definitely expected higher quality of service from Starbucks. read more

Either this Starbucks has changed a lot in the past three years, or my family and I were extremely (and uncharacteristically) lucky with the excellent service we had here on our recent trip to Lake Chelan. In fact, our experience getting coffee here was so good, we returned every morning on our 3-day trip. First of all, this is a lovely Starbucks, with an indoor-outdoor fireplace and modern architectural lines. Very clean, and with a drive-through, too. We were here early every morning (between7-7:30am). Each time, the ladies working at the counter were super friendly. Our drinks were correct every time and they were delicious every time. I have never been to such a horrible Starbucks and I am a huge fan of Starbucks in general. I stood in line for over 10 minutes (with three people in front of me). There were 3 people working (on a Sunday morning) and they all moved like molasses. They looked miserable, no smiles or greetings, and all seemed pissed off at the world. When it was finally our turn to order, I told the gal what I would like, which included a breakfast sandwich. She stated really rudely, "I am JUST taking drink orders at this time". UM, what? I didnt understand so I said, " I would like a breakfast sandwich with my latte". She repeated " I am JUST taking drink orders". SO does that mean, you arent selling food for some reason? Does it mean you are incompetent and can't take my full order? She was unapologetic, didnt explain herself, and rude. The entire process to order my coffee and be out the door took over 20 minutes. There were also homeless people SLEEPING in the chairs so we couldn't even sit down and enjoy our coffee in the store. I will NEVER come back to this Starbucks. We ended up finding a cute little local bakery literally 100 feet away to the north (Lake Chelan Artisan Bakery) which had amazing service, coffee, and food. Skip this place and head to the bakery - you won't be disappointed. This places needs serious attention and new management. read more

I see I'm not the only that had a terrible experience at this startbucks... that's not supposed to happen at Starbucks but it did.... Sunday morning in Lake Chelan, Golfers were lined up in front of me and behind me and my friends, which is great and this Starbucks should know this is what happens here.... Golf! Some of the guys left without their coffees, I waited over 10 mins, lady putting food in glass shelves WITHOUT gloves, yuck! Rude people, all 3 of them. My friend's coffee was nasty, we actually came back in and told her that we thought the shot of coffee had been from the previous order or something, super light, you could only taste the milk. She re did it and yep, you can now taste coffee. Just rude en general, no smiles, early in the morning, rude answers to all of us, homeless people using ALL the big chairs and couches in the sitting area, all were out, sleeping, deep sleep. My kids (ages 7-14) went in to get drinks, The staff rolled their eyes, yelled at them to "hurry up and pick what they wanted." And then laughed at them when they gave them our last name (Rudolph) for the order. They continued to laugh and point at them while they drank their drinks. I normally wouldn't review a Starbucks because Starbucks is Starbucks. But this place has exceptionally slow service, slightly poor service. Staff is extremely friendly but... we were here the other day, waited 15 minutes next to the pickup counter for our two drinks and croissants, and witnessed that almost every pickup had either something missing or a wrong beverage. You think with 6 people behind the counter things would be smooth and efficient. Here's a suggestion: get rid of mobile ordering, focus on your in store and drive thru. read more

Don't go here unless you've mobile ordered well in advance or if you're going through the drive through. If you order in the store, you have to wait until every single person in Chelan has driven through the drive through before they make your drink. Ok, maybe that's a bit harsh.
