I stopped by this spot while visiting Mississippi to get some work done, and it was a great choice. The music was nice, though a little on the loud side. Kahmaya (Sorry if I misspelled your name) was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. I grabbed a banana bread and some water for a quick snack while working. In response to the review before mine... the employees were slow but no one was "seedy."Appropriately polite. Just not in a rush. I had ordered ahead on the app. Plain latte and a dark roast coffee. I usually order earlier than the estimate so it's ready to grab quickly (on a road trip.) It wasn't too busy. A few cars in the drive through and no one else inside. 3 staff members. They didn't start our order until we were scoping out the pickup area looking for the drinks. It took about ten minutes to prep the two drinks. The down side was the wait. This Starbucks is a great pit stop for people traveling, as it sits right off the interstate! That staff is incredibly friendly, and they prepare drinks efficiently. I enjoy coming here to work in the mornings. My only reason for deducting a star is that they are using a section of the restaurant to visibly store their packages, ingredients, etc. It looks messy and is taking up space that could be utilized for people to sit. The parking is also not ideal, but aside from those critiques, I would recommend this Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks has consistently gone downhill over the past 5 years, to the point that it's easily the worst location in the Jackson Metro. Parking and getting in and out of the store is a nightmare. They're consistently understaffed. Most of the employees who are here aren't interested in even taking your order. Good luck getting someone to make eye contact with you. And what once was a great lounge and sitting area for customers is now stuffed with boxes. The store looks so trashy and unorganized. As someone who used to work from this location 4-5 days a week, I can barely stand to come here anymore. read more

Stopped by to grab some coffee and a bagel before work with my dad's girlfriend. We placed our order the girl read it back and it was good. we get to the window, reads our order again and she gave me a grade caramel frap when i asked for a venti caramel crunch frap. when i said something about it the lady at the window proceeded to get a slight attitude and tell me they could not remake it at the window and we would have to go buy another one. the line was long so we were not about to wait through it again, but them being busy is no excuse for them messing up our order. Not only was my drink wrong so was my dads girlfriends. she did not get her correct drink either . my word of advice would be to just double check your order before you leave the no where you order . this is very disappointing considering the fact that they are usually so good about getting orders right . read more

The staff is always nice and friendly, even when I order my ridiculous drink order. The restaurant is clean. Sadly, they tend to forget to put my whipped cream on like 40% of the time. And the parking lot is awful. It's too tiny; if there is a line (which their usually is) it blocks the parking spaces. So customers who are already parked get stuck waiting for someone to finally let them out or you can't get in to park. read more

Was walking in and noticed an employee carrying a big jug of coffee out to dump so I held the door for him. He then proceeded to talk to his "boss" who was sitting at the table closest to the door for 30 seconds while I held the door. He didn't say thank you he just walked by me and then yelled from 20 feet away, oh excuse me and that was it. I was traveling through and stopped at this Starbucks for a cup of coffee for the road, my coffee had a tea taste to it, it was as if someone started to pour tea in the cut, realized their mistake and instead of starting all over they simply filled the rest of the cup up with coffee. This is my "home-town" Starbucks, and even if you don't come here often, the folks working here treat you as if you do. For me, when it comes to "chain" establishments with set menus, offerings, etc., it's all about the customer service. Even when these folks are being slammed with customer orders, they are always friendly and smiling. One tip--if you are pulling a trailer, even a small one, DO NOT enter the parking lot. It is small and you will not be able to turn around, or go through the drive-thru. Instead, if you are pulling a trailer, park in the shopping center parking lot and walk the 75 or so yards.
