How do you make sure a customer can drink the frappe she ordered? This starbucks decided including the straw isn't the answer (2nd time in a row btw). They figured making my dasher wait 45 minutes until the Matcha Crème Frappuccino® Blended Beverage was melted, the whipped creme was completely deflated, and the toasted sandwich was room temp was the answer. I sure wish they chose to go the route of including a straw instead. (It was probably left on the counter instead of being treated as a delivery item and marking it as done). Service is great, everyone is super friendly and the drinks always come out perfect. 2 stars because they have a major bug problem which they are not fixing. I thought it was only the summer but their drive thru is swarmed with these nasty beetles spring-fall. I went there this week (in the winter) and while I was working one crawled up my leg. What can I say, all Starbucks are pretty much the same. The differences are the people, getting orders right and cleanliness. People: friendly Order: perfect Cleanliness: not so much, bathrooms were a bit messy and the mixing area was sticky. I arrived at 2:45 because when I came here last weekend at 3:15 I saw that they now close at 3 p.m. 2 employees were outside, and then started going inside. When I approached the door, they said, sorry, we're closing. I pointed to the sign and they said yeah but we have too many people in the drive-through line so we will never get through them in time, so we're closed. I was a little exasperated, and said firmly but not unkind, I'm not coming back. The young woman responded, "Cool." Renovated in May 2016. Restrooms here are now unisex/gender-neutral (thank you!!), similarly at other locations including Keene & Bedford, but still not the case at Starbucks in Manchester, Londonderry and other Conservative areas (ie Pittsburgh, PA). I feel it is time to post a brief update. I am a regular at the Concord Starbucks as I usually stop in here on my way into work or during work breaks. When I walk into Starbucks in the early AM, several baristas spot me and know what I usually get (a Grande Dark with room) and get my drink ready as I'm approaching the register. My usual coffee is all set to go as I am paying and I'm usually in a rush to get into work on time. At times (mid mornings), the place could get busy with a line at the register, but still some baristas see me and pour my usual and it's ready to go when I get up to the register, now that's prompt VIP service with a smile! I paid $12 for a burnt mouth and no drinks! My boyfriend and I got a chai latte and a matcha latte at 6:15am Thursday, December 31st 2020. There was no line. The milk in the chai latte was burnt and scalding hot (as in I burnt my whole mouth and it tasted terrible). The milk in the matcha was also burnt and there was so much matcha powder in it that I can feel all the grains like there's sand in my drink. Who ever made my drinks should be fired! I'm a barista myself and this is crazy! Please, any management that sees this. My mouth still hurts from being burnt. Where is quality control?? Fire that barista!! read more

I've been to this Starbuck's twice and was struck both times with the uncleanliness of the establishment. Tables hadn't been cleaned, napkins on the already dirty floor and coffee rings on most shared counter tops. This is striking because there are so many employees behind the counter at any given time. Yet, it seems that for every four employees only one is working while the others mill around either talking to one another or friends at the end of the pastry counter. This Starbucks does not treat their staff very good at all. Starbucks should be ashamed and take a good look at the management . My favorite Barista Sam has quit due to the lack of support from the management, Sam was a long term employee and a great Barista. I will be taking my business else where Starbucks. read more

SO frustrating! I've been going to this Starbucks at least 4 times a week since it opened it's doors. For a long time the service was super friendly, accommodating, fast which is great since I was always on my way to work, and ACCURATE most importantly since your paying nearly $5 for a semi-large coffee. (Stupid me for paying it!!!). I WAS a happy customer considered the prices. Lately though, the service is slower than death, my drink which is a berry refresher with lite ice (basic) is NEVER right. How do you mess that up?? And they've also increased the prices. I can't justify going here anymore. If you are in a rush, or....even if you've left yourself plenty of time to get where you're going...skip this Starbucks. They will undoubtedly make you late and get your drink wrong. Drivethru with limited seating. Very noisy inside. No sandwiches/salads. Freestanding store. If you're heading into Concord, turn left onto D'Amante Drive and enter via Shaws parking lot Update, 8/12/17 The store has been remodeled several times. There is a lot more seating and almost every one has a place to plug in. It's not plush, but definitely less noisy than before. Still no double door, though, so expect a blast of cold when the door opens in the winter. (And yes, they added a refrigerated unit for sandwiches, salads,...) To be fair and honest I will preface this review with a disclaimer: I used to work at this location. I have not worked for Starbucks for 2+years and so now after the couple experiences I have had the last couple months I feel as if I could review them now. I used to come every weekday morning to grab either an americano or a latte but I have stopped almost entirely coming due to 3 times in a row being given caffeine when I ordered decaf. I can tell due to years of experience of drinking both while in the industry. I have decided to come in rarely due to the risk of getting to caffeine. Not to mention that with few exceptions (Danielle, Angie or Kristen) the drinks are very poorly made. Shots being expired, milk poorly portioned and poorly steamed. Tonight I decided to write this review due to a chance I gave Starbucks again. I ordered a decaf americano with room and the shots sat for at least a minute before I got my drink. I love coffee and I go out for it frequently. Starbuck's has to be my favorite coffee shop. I usually get the latte because that's my favorite one on the menu so far. However, I am on a gluten-free diet and I was a little disappointed that all it had to offer was a Kind bar. I do hope someday that Starbuck's will come out with something like scones or croissants that are gluten-free because it would compliment my latte. Overall, great place to be. read more

Consistently a friendly, quick and basic Starbucks. I am here 5 days a week, mostly through the drive-through and I don't have any complaints. I get a mocha latte and a kids sized hot chocolate for my son, and away we go. I've been inside a few times, and it's tiny but welcoming. The only issue I have is that getting in to the parking lot from Loudon Road isn't the most convenient, but it's not difficult by any stretch. read more

I must say, since I've moved to the concord/bow area and have been attending this Starbucks everyday or even twice a day for the past 7 or 8 years, i'm afraid to go elsewhere! All Starbucks are NOT the same and this one is the best. They make it right every time , if its not they remake it with a smile and no attitude like some say they have. Kim, Chuck, and the other long time baristas here are amazing! I always look forward to seeing them. Ive been a gold member since 2013 and I really wouldn't want to go to any other location besides Concord. Right now is the first day of their remodel and they still tried to make great coffee and give great service! I'm more than excited to see heir new look! If there are any more complaints about the speed of their service - just use mobil order and pay, that way you can just walk in grumpy and leave grumpy without talking to anyone. That way the rest if us can enjoy our $6.00 coffee made right! As for entering and exiting, there are 3 ways to enter this location, pick one. Don't go anywhere if you need to be somewhere in 3 seconds and if you dont want to think positively and enjoy your day, dont ruin others great day. I really like espresso. I know there are limitations with the machine that they work with. I accept that. I really wish they would have a small espresso mug, the large one sucks the heat out too fast. I do not dilly, I drink it hot and fast. I also need a metal spoon. The wood doesn't work well and I hate the plastic. Sustainability is mugs and spoons and i would like a more tradition espresso. they are open on thanksgiving till 3, so they got a star for that. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks 2 a day for several months. A few weeks or maybe even a month ago they closed expectantly for a week to remodel there was no signage or "hey were going to be closed nexr week". Since the reopening the vibe has changed, staff have changed and they are missing the customer service mark big time. Staff are not friendly, appear to be unhappy with their jobs and just plain rude. I have observed bickering between crew members, and under the breath comments after customers walk away from the obstacle course to place your order. read more

Ok... it's Starbucks. You get exactly what you are looking for... expensive coffee that is always consistent in taste. That's the best part about Starbucks is the consistency of the taste. You buy a Starbucks next year it will taste just like the one you had this morning.
