    Super Bowl special

Stopped in to the Bedford location yesterday and picked up a box of superbowl themed pre-selected donuts as well as a crueler. The football donuts were fantastic! I had one with strawberry frosting and vanilla filling and, although one was plenty, it was so good I can't wait to have another. The crueler, my favorite donut of all, was everything I expected - and a little bit more. The perfect amount of crunch and cake with a great brushing of icing on top. The location itself is small, and it was very busy, but the wait was pretty fast. Everyone behind the counter was great and they were a well oiled machine. Donuts are my favorite thing to snack on, and I cannot wait to go back. I am now a super fan!

My husband and I have tried doughnuts from all over New England and the East coast. We've been to a ridiculous amount of hole in the wall places and "world famous" bakeries. That being said NH Doughnut Co is by far one of the best doughnut shops we've ever been to! 1/20 another amazing trip to NH Doughnut Co! Normally I don't update reviews but they definitely deserve it. On Saturday we went to the Bedford location and we got there about 30 minutes after they opened. We were floored by how busy it was and how many preorders they had already completed for the day. We waited in line and it moved pretty quickly but once we ordered we noticed multiple orders that were placed after us coming out before us. Turned out they were having issues with their printer so the kitchen wasn't getting every ticket. The girl at the front realized what was happening and fixed it before anyone complained or got upset. To say the least we were quite impressed! We will be back soon!

Stopped this morning and grabbed a selection of donuts for the kids this weekend... NH Doughnut Co. to the rescue!!! As always service was impeccable and friendly!! Love great banter in the morning! What a delightful woman!!! Scored a: Samoa, Oreo, cruller, apple cider cronut, s'mores, blueberry, and glazed. ‍ These donuts are heavenly delicious and super creative!!! Have you uncovered this hidden gem??? This is a get them before they sell out location!!! Which ones would you want??

NH Donut Company is a hidden gem in our capital city. Literally. To find them you must park and walk through the entrance to the shops and restaurants located behind Main St. The entrance to the walkway is next to Citizen's Bank on Main St. The donuts are sublime, rare gems! So many fantastic flavors in glutenous, gluten free, and vegan! Not all flavors available in all types of donuts. They sell out QUICKLY! The service is prompt and friendly! The inside of the store is whimsical, as if the March Hare opened a donut bakery! We had a gluten free lemon coconut donut and a vegan chocolate covered with sprinkles donut. The gluten free donut is more cake like but not heavy. The coconut lemon was very light for a gluten free baked good. I have decades of experience with gluten free baking and still my donuts are heavy like little pucks. The coconut was not extra sweet and I loved that! The lemon was a bit sweet for my taste and I also wish it was more lemony/tart to offset the sweetness. Still, it was an excellent gluten free lemon coconut donut! The vegan chocolate covered donut with sprinkles was lighter than the gluten free donut. It wasn't too sweet, just right! We also shared a 16 oz NH Maple iced coffee with cream. It is deliciously maple tasting without being sweet! We will be back! The NH Donut Company also caters as in you can place large custom orders ahead of time for pick up on the day of your event! Enjoy!!

If you're looking for small cake doughnuts with a variety of flavors then you're in the right place. I came on a weekend morning and there was a small line to order. There are 4 price points for their doughnuts including simple/mid-tier/fancier/gluten and dairy free. I got 3 doughnuts - strawberry sprinkles, PB explosion, and PB chocolate oreo. My favorite out of the three was definitely the PB explosion - a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and PB/chocolate bites that gave the doughnut the most flavor. These doughnuts are soft, around the size of a typical donut you get from Dunkin, but do not give the same satisfaction as a yeasted brioche doughnut.

I stopped by the New Hampshire Doughnut Company on my way into work to pick up some doughnuts for the office. This place is not your typical doughnut shop. They offer custom made to order doughnuts, start with the plain cake doughnut, choose frosting, dips, toppings, drizzles for your own creation, or choose from a good variety of doughnuts already on display. The concept is new to the area, which is similar to the "create your own doughnut" Duck Donuts chain located in the Southeast and Mid Atlantic states. I was at Duck Donuts in Marlton, NJ recently. Doughnuts here are priced as follows in 2019: $1.50 single, $8 half dozen, $15 dozen, before 9% meals tax, since I believe this is considered prepared foods and not prepackaged multiple bakery or grocery store items, which is not taxed in NH. They also sell brewed coffee and espresso drinks too. Anyways, I got a dozen assorted doughnuts ($15 plus $1.35 tax), or $1.36 each. My favorites were the Real Bacon Maple Frosted Cake and Pretzel Chocolate Frosted doughnuts, the cake doughnut was soft, light, and not too sweet. My coworkers were delighted to enjoy the assortment of freshly made frosted and topped doughnuts, a very nice change from their usual same ol same ol Dunks.

For our wedding, we knew we wanted to have doughnuts instead of cake. We first ran into NH Doughnut Co. at a wedding expo at the Barn at Bull Meadow and thought their doughnuts were delicious. Then we heard from our friend who lives in Concord that it is a favorite spot of theirs. We arranged to pick up a tasting box and were convinced that they were the ones. They even accommodated to include an off-menu lemon curd doughnut (a favorite flavor of ours and my grandmother) in the final order. My grandmother was unable to attend the wedding due to health reasons, but we were still able to send a doughnut of her favorite flavor home to her to help her feel better about missing out. Not only did the doughnuts, a variety of both cake and yeast-raised, all taste fantastic, but they looked great, too! Toppings aren't just sprinkled on, but thoroughly coated on top. The strawberry frosted Fruity Pebble doughnut was a particular favorite. The staff was friendly and accommodating (I worked primarily with Lexi and Amanda) and the doughnuts were delivered just when they were supposed to on wedding day. We ordered enough to have leftover for a goodbye breakfast the following day, and guests were thrilled to have another chance to try all of the flavors. In addition to those I mentioned, I recommend Chocolate Frosted with Oreo, Samoa, and Maple Frosted!

Very cool spot hidden away off Main street in Capital Plaza. Staff was very friendly. The donuts look like they were going to disappoint but were actually very very good. My favorite was the Samoa (like a Caramel DeLight Girl Scout cookie). Take a stroll off Main street and over to this spot.

Our choices: maple bacon, cherry cheesecake, rice krispies treat, and cannoli.

I had heard about NH Doughnut Co. through Facebook and told my husband we needed to go! They open at 6:30am and we got there around 7:30am. The shop smells of fresh baked doughnuts and we were greeted by the friendly shop owners. They had so many doughnut varieties to choose from! They are all based on a plain cake doughnut with creative toppings on them. There is a menu sign where you can even create your own doughnut topping combination. The doughnuts we chose to try were the cannoli, the Rice Krispies treat, the maple bacon, and the cherry cheesecake. We also bought iced coffees (where the coffee is from a local company) and chose the flavors Irish cream and cinnamon. They serve the iced coffee with coffee-ice cubes so your drink doesn't get watered down! The doughnuts were delicious! They were fresh, moist and had a slight crunch on the outside. They had just the right amount of toppings to doughnut ratio. The maple bacon was my favorite! The coffee was also very good. I definitely recommend this place with we will be back. I believe I've read they run out of doughnuts usually around 10 so make sure you go early. I can't wait to try some of their other flavor combinations!

Candy Bar Selection of 6 donuts: M&M, Almond Joy, Mounds, Heath Bar, Reece's Cup, and Snickers.

New Hampshire Doughnut is one of the best local donut companies in the state. These little gems come in varieties that I've never seen before and differentiate themselves with unique flavors from other similar places such as Holy Donut. Instead of my usual taste for a floral or lighter treat, I went all out and opted for the Candy Bar selection that included 6 donuts: M&M, Almond Joy, Mounds, Heath Bar, Reece's Cup, and Snickers. The process for ordering was easy with an ability to buy pre planned sets of unique donuts or choose 6 or 12 individual ones from a massive list. Please note you cannot purchase donuts at the window during this time due to covid-19. Orders must be placed ahead of time online where you will select a pick up time. My only complaint is that gluten free donuts can not be ordered on certain days which was disappointing for my partner who has celiac disease.

In box: Moose tracks, and Strawberry Crunch. In tray: Choc glazed.

There were approximately 5 other customers in the shop. Woman at the counter was welcoming and accommodating. We ordered 2 egg, ham and cheese sandwiches. One with Swiss one with American. A 12 oz mocha and a 12 oz maple latte. The woman at the counter inquired if I preferred white or dark chocolate for the mocha ( nice touch) and what type of milk. They do offer real maple syrup. The sandwiches took about 7 minutes to appear. The cook ( rather rough ) put them on the counter and turned away in one motion. The coffees took another 4 minutes after the sandwiches came out. If the place had been busy I, of course would understand the wait. However, it was not. Once I finally joined my companion to being eating ( I was delivering items to the table as I received them) he was done with his sandwich as I was beginning. The sandwich was a huge disappointment. Yes, the order was made correctly. The bread was toasted as I requested, bone dry but toasted. My dissatisfaction came from the lack of filling in the sandwich. One egg, one small slice of cheese( not covering the entire slice of bread ) and one paper thin slice of deli ham. I do realize that food costs are up, I also realize that will not have return customers if they do not feel like they are getting value for their dollars. The service was slow but mostly kind. The coffees were very good. The sandwiches were a disappointment. Two 12oz specialty coffees, two breakfast sandwiches just under $30.

Was lucky to have found a parking spot, cause it's on Main Street, but it was a busy and hot day outside so not their fault. The server was super nice, and I ordered the "Salted Honey" latte- ($6 for a small 16 oz iced- but I get it's more fancy ingredients which taste better so I don't mind) sea salt with fancy honey whole milk latte-absolutely loved it!
