This Starbucks is the busiest store I've ever been to. Cookeville could definitely use a 2nd location. Quality is still on point, but it takes way to long for a cuppa joe or tea bc of the lines! Parking in this location is terrible too. read more

Busy place. Inside staff can be very slow and not so friendly (you know who you are). Drinks are generally pretty good. WiFi can be iffy!

We drive up, and the lady (who just in case her boss reads this and just incase he/or she might be inclined to correct her or hopefully fire her- because that's how irritated I am and because if you cant handle customer service, you should probably not work for a company that usually has over the top customer service) ladys and gentlemen we have found the weak link, she has Arthur the possum glasses and was working the drive through this morning shift. She goes "I CAN BARELY HEAR YOU" ...ok, your tone if off but whatever, I'll speak up. My friend wants cream and sugar. None was offered, still not a problem so we ask then...imagine the rudest voice tone in your head "NEXT TIME TELL US YOU WANT IT IN THERE" My friend who just got out of the E.R. finally reacts a little says " no one said anything about cream and sugar" She gets EVEN more feisty, which I didn't think was possible for someone being paid to be there and completely unprovoked, but yes "ITS NOT STANDARD FOR US TO PUT THAT IN YOUR COFFEE SO IF YOU WANT IT, TELL US!" .....holy crap. Holy crap holy crap. I'm still like half laughing cause I dont know wtf just happened. read more

Typical Starbucks - been to one you've been to most... The one bad mark on this location is PARKING (which they have very little) - don't go in the early morning (before 8 am) unless you plan to wait. read more

Filthiest Starbucks I've ever seen! Bathroom dingy (minimal light wattage??), toilet was dirty (feces??), no paper towels (well, there were ~20 but they were all scattered on the floor & soaked with what I hope was water!). Brought to attention of the nice girl taking my order. She called out to a guy and asked him to check bathrooms. I waited for order (nothing special, just typical Strbx) and then noticed the condiment station was in the same condition!! Trash overflowing onto countertop, other trash scattered about (including tables & floor), no napkins. I looked around to notice I was the only customer in the building, there was one car at drive thru, I saw 2, maybe 3, kids working and the other 3-4 standing in a group & talking to one another.....including the guy that was to check the bathrooms. I travel the US 4-5 days a week for work and I swear....I have never encountered one this dirty. Next time, I will go to the new Dunkin' Donuts just down the street. Ick! read more

This happened on Saturday, 3/11/17. My husband and I were going to get a little "pick me up" before we ran more errands. I pulled up to the window and my husband saw the coconut milk macchiato and wanted me to ask if they could make something like that into a frappuccino. I was a little flustered and when I asked, my stutter got the best of me (something that I've dealt with throughout my life but is still SUPER embarrassing!). The barista (Mandy) in the window then said: "Were those even words?" and seemed to have laughed at my struggle. I turned back to my husband completely shocked that she acted that way when someone obviously has a bit of a speech impediment. I ended up so embarrassed that I just drove away and then called the store manager. The manager was in shock as well and offered to buy me a drink. I've frequented that Starbucks before work and I've never had a problem until now. I'm writing this to make others aware so they don't have to have an exchange as I did. I'm hoping this was seriously looked into on the stores part because nobody should EVER speak to someone like that, especially if you're in customer service. read more

It is your average Starbucks. This store has a drive through and is only a minute from the interstate. It was clean and has seating inside and outside the store. read more

Wish you could give negative stars. We are traveling from Knoxville to Nashville and stopped for a quick to go coffee. We went inside since you can typically get faster service. Ordered a caramel macchiato and nonfat cappuccino...not rocket science. Of the 6 employees, only one is servicing the inside patrons and his sense of urgency was non-existent. I saw him standing there staring at the order receipts like he had no idea what was happening. When we received our order after 24 minutes, he did not call our name or put the order sticker on the cups, so I asked if the cappuccino was nonfat and he said no, so I then had to continue waiting while he remade it, and it's not even good, way too much milk and I'm not totally convinced there is any espresso even it it. We travel this way a lot and will never again stop at this Starbucks. I wouldn't suggest anyone else stop either based on the general uncleanliness and lack of customer service. read more

This is a super busy location. Employees are all friendly and experienced. I wish they would utilize some of the vacant land around them to make more parking. The drive thru is usually full all the way to the road and parking spaces are blocked making it impossible to get in or out most of the time. I normally have to park at IHOP next door. Scared my car might get towed. read more

So glad to see the Starbucks logo over the top of interstate 40! The first Starbucks we've seen coming northeast from Arkansas. What a welcome sign and there drinks are consistently good as ever. read more
