This Starbucks is always busy! Drive by any day around 7am and there's a huge line at the drive thru. It was Winter Break and we all wanted a nice beverage to start out one of the final days of relaxation-- however none of us wanted to leave the house to get said beverages. Alas! The Starbucks app has a delivery option. We got our refreshers, Americano and Sugar Cookie latte brought promptly to our door in a flash! 10/10 recommend the app. (Though our order wasn't 100% right.) Overall, this is a solid location and the staff is always so insanely chipper, no matter the time of day. read more

I'm never as much a fan of the Starbucks drip coffee as other places, that said, they do really good stuff here. Pretty standard Starbucks, not a lot of study room, but good chairs and what not. They do really good hot chocolate here and my wife has become a near addict as a result! The place is quick and efficient and are generally a happy crowd. Pastries and breads here are solid and the sale rack for cups and what not is always filled with delightful things we don't need, but that are fun to play with! read more

The worst service of any Starbucks I have ever been to. The cafe is closed 50% of the time. The drive up line is wrapped all the way around the building when the cafe is closed. And even when the cafe is open and the line isn't ridiculous the service is slow and they mess up my drink order. I'd rather get out of my car and walk into the Starbucks at Hyvee where there's better service and better drinks. read more

I'm not usually one to frequent Starbucks but with my favorite cafe in Coralville now out of business (in Iowa River Landing... you know the one), Starbucks is my rebound. Because breakups are hard, and Starbucks is the good-enough one night stand. One thing that really drives me crazy about this location though: the flies. Why are there SO many flies? Can we get a fly tape or zapper? Or just give me a fly swatter and I'll go Armageddon on these beasts. This Starbucks has lost it's Mojo! Well to be honest, I have only been to this location a few times and needless to say it does not stand out at all. The staff is usually self-involved with their own conversation, the seating is extremely limited and it can easily get overwhelmingly loud. But today, the worse service ever! There are five workers behind the counter, not one is taking orders and not one has the courtesy to say 'Welcome To Starbucks' or 'I Will Be Right With You'. What they do do, is glance up look right at you with that deer in the headlight look and go right back to what they are doing with no sense of courtesy or ability to multitasks. Once someone does take you order (literally seven minutes after I walked up to the counter - yes I actually times it, and I was behind one other person) they cannot take the time to make sure they even get your name right and I literally spelled it out for him! Now it took me seven minutes to get to counter to make my order. It took another fifteen minutes (and yes I timed it again) to actually get my drink. THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON IN LINE IN FRONT OF ME! Now I understand they have drive thru orders to fill and online orders to fill, but I am a paying customer in store - I should have priority and at the very least there should be someone dedicated to making drinks for people in the store. The overall point of my rant is that the quality of Starbucks customer service declined severely in recent years and it is a damn shame as Starbucks used to hands-down be one of my favorite places to frequent on a regular basis. read more

This location is on the coralville strip is far removed from downtown IC. Sometimes I find it a pleasant escape from the busy college scene found at the Starbz on Clinton st. The service has been wonderful and they have all of your favorite classics plus pastries and food. Their space inside is more welcoming and modern than the one downtown making it a great spot to post up on the weekend. This location has a drive thru which is also perfect if you need to grab something quick before heading to where you need to go. read more

I stopped here the other night to grab a frap before I took my flight home to Des Moines.. in my car not my private jet, but if I did have a privet jet, I would most likely be able to get Soy Coffee Fraps when ever I wanted! This wold be a pretty nice way to live.. Cause I do love Fraps! This stores Frap seemed a bit more on the coffee side then the soy side and I quite enjoyed it! Starbucks never really fail me! This Starbucks has no consistency. Most mornings mobile app orders are not available. Driveway thru is the slowest one in the entire area. Can park at Hy-Vee go inside and still get my drink faster than sitting in there drive thru. Last few times I've been to this location the white chocolate mochas don't taste weird. Today I sat in the drive thru for 10 mins and only 4 cars were ahead of me. When it was my turn to order I was told to wait after I had already waited 10 to get to the order speaker. Mind you that the car in front of me sat at the speaker for 4 mins after her order. After I was told to wait I said no thanks to barista and I drove off. Your coffee isn't that awesome to deal with the time it takes to get a coffee for 6.25. Went home and made my own. Good bye Starbucks on 2nd St! read more

Typical Starbucks. It's small and doesn't have a lot of seating so I usually just grab and go (mobile order ftw!) Customer service is decently pleasant. On the off chance I do sit in to enjoy my coffee, the flies are super annoying and detract from the overall experience. Beware that they don't have full options that other larger Starbucks might offer. read more

This Starbucks is usually dirty, particularly the tables which never seem to get wiped. The tables are not clean and it is swarming with flies in the summer. There is a strange bench with tiny tables packed together against a wall. Not very private and hardly enough room for a laptop. This one has a decent drive-thru and friendly staff. read more

I am a loyal customer to Starbucks, but there are better locations in the area. Every time I go here they seem to mess up really simple drinks. I would recommend the location on Riverside and Hwy 1. Man I don't know what it is but Starbucks service seems to get slower as you leave Chicago. The farther away the slower it is. They also comped me with a credit which I thought was very professional. I have more respect for the company now. I went here at night so maybe the staff on that shift was the problem, but they took FOREVER to get my drink. There was no one else inside either. The employees there ( one large girl and feminine man) were talking bad about the other female employee working there while she went to do something. "I can't stand her she doesn't do her job". This was all right in front of me. Maybe if they stopped gossiping about their employees they would have time to make my dirty chai latte in under 5 minutes but it took 12 instead. Oh, and there were flies in the store!!!! It is the dead of winter. If you have flies in your store it's because you are dirty! And clean your women's bathroom, it was disgusting !!!!! read more

I frequent this location a lot and always get the Vanilla Iced Coffee with cream. You could say I'm addicted to iced coffee these days and have tried it at most coffee shops in the area. Of all the coffee shops in Coralville and North Liberty this Starbucks makes my favorite. The taste is always consistent and I never have to worry about it being watered down or overly sweet like at some other shops. The baristas are always friendly too. The only thing I would change about this location is how busy it gets periodically. It can get a bit crowded in there. read more

I've been there multiple times, it's good service except for the last time!!!! I think it was someone new, but there's this female barista when I walked in to the register and trying to place my order she was "Hold on one second!!!" with an attitude I am like okay!!!!!! and waited for her. When she took my order she reached for the Frappe cups! I am like oh! I actually wanted the hot beverage version not the cold. She replied back with " we don't do that but I am going to let it pass this time"!!!!!!!! I've been to Starbucks million times for over 13 years!!!!! I never got treated that way!!! plz!!!!!! Decent Starbucks. The staff is nice and knowledgable and patient. (I am forcing myself to try new things on the menu instead of my go-to frappe and they answer all my questions and will recommend ingredients they think I may like). I find the inside area relatively clean and not as crowded as the one in Iowa City. Parking is above par compared to the one on Clinton St. mainly because it's free. My only complaint is that their outdoor seating is in desperate need of being cleaned and arranged. It is so unwelcoming I'd rather sit in a park than sit out there. Very disappointed. When I lived in Chicago I looked forward to the ginger bread drink every holiday season. So I go to Starbucks in Coralville and order the same drink. I was very disappointed. I stopped here while passing through on a long drive. I wonder how long this store has been open... They seemed to function at a much slower rate than most Starbucks stores! The bathrooms were kinda dirty, which is unusual for a Starbucks. The drink tasted fine, but I am one of those people with a long, picky order, and although it didn't confuse the person who took the order at all, the guy actually making the drink didn't understand what was written on the cup and had to keep asking. read more
