I didn't even taste the bacon and had to disassemble the sandwich to confirm that they even put bacon. I'll be back for coffee but not sure if I'll be ordering anything to eat. Service: The employees I interacted with and observed while I spent the morning working in the shop seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Everyone was polite and were chatting with the regulars as they came in and out. Ambiance: The physical space had all sorts of room for people like myself who were there looking for a place to be productive. From bar seating, high tops, tables, couches, and comfy chairs - this place can accommodate all sorts of patrons. As a bonus, I had the pleasure of sitting right next to the roaster while they were actively roasting beans for most of the morning! Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to serve as my office for the morning. A well deserved 5/5 rating!

The service here was great with cheery workers, and the atmosphere here is great for working. It feels like a cozy log cabin on the inside! Caribou misses a 5 star due to the lack of a wow factor when it comes to there coffee. It doesn't quite hit the "OMFG" levels of places like Cafe Saint Pio (Cedar Rapids) or Zoetic (IC / Solon).

They even offer a student discount, which makes it an even better spot for college students. Definitely one of my favorite places to go in Iowa City!
