Great service and quick! There are a few pros of this location. I like how there's a parking lot with many spots. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The Internet is good. Food and drinks are consistent. Ambiance is as usual for a Starbucks. Was just at this location and the staff was so friendly I thought I should leave a review! I am not sure of everyone's names, but whoever was working about 12:30pm on 10/20/23 was a great bunch! From the minute anyone walks in the door you are greeted. My order was taken right away with kindness and patience. This store is always messy but it's really convenient so i still frequent it. However, they've recently installed keypads on the restrooms. So you have to request a code in order to even be able to wash your hands or god forbid use the restroom. It's truly degrading for an adult to have to request permission to use the restroom especially in a long line of people. It's unfortunate to see that the sensitivity training that all Starbucks stores took a day off last year hasn't offered much improvement in baristas assumptions and notions of how they treat people of color. This is the 2nd location that this has happened to me at, and I know that it would not happen to someone not of color. Came to Starbucks at Starbucks Knox Henderson at 10:20am today. I ordered a blond expresso Frappuccino with heavy cream. I then worked for 2.5 hours on their patio. I went inside their store at 12pm to have a phone conference. Following my phone conference at 12:45pm, I went up to order another drink. For those who don't frequent Starbucks, they have a policy where "refills are on them" even if it's not the same as the original drink ordered as long as it's same day and you haven't left the store. These refills are for their brewed tea or coffee. Chris the barista then proceeds to tell me that he's "doing this for me this 1 time," but that in the future that I would have to pay for this refill as their policy is "same store, same day." Mind you, he thinks that I'm trying to steal a 54 cent refill (as if I don't have 54 cents to my name). I then called him out on his either overt or subconscious bias/racism. I know and you know that he would not have assumed this if I was not a person of color. I informed him that I had indeed been at the store the whole time, showed him much receipt, and told him that I did not appreciate his assumptions. He mumbled an apology. I then spoke with his manager, Kevin, who rolled his eyes when I expressed my dissatisfaction with my experience and suggested the bias/racism that went into this experience. All in all, I won't be giving my money to this Starbucks location again. This is unfortunate as it's next to my daughter's preschool and near our house and has outdoor plugs for electronics. In summary, Dallas friends: take notice and don't come to this location. read more

The store on Knox St, Dallas, TX. I drink decaf and most stores don't have it fresh after 10:00 AM. However, having said that, every other store I gone to have charged me the price of a venti coffee ($3.45) and prepared either an Americano or pour-over. Today the store charged me $4.95 for an Americano. I complained that I ordered a decaf and should have been charged $3.45. Decaf drinkers should not be penalized just because SB does not keep decaf available all day. The barista decided to argue the issue and when I spoke to the mgr. she gave me a runaround also. When I said I have ordered decaf in other stores and been charged $3.45. She said "If you will tell me which store did that I will call their manager and set them straight!" Such nerve, a very foolish retort. She did refund my $1.67, "this one time." I called corporate when I got home and they were aghast at the way this was handled and assured me that the mgr. would be contacted. read more

It is situated just a short block off of the Katy Trail, giving everyone going on their weekend walk a place to grab a quick pastry and latte. It has a decent sitting area inside made better by the fact that there is covered and uncovered, gated seating outside. Need some shade, got it. Need a couch, got it. Need free wifi so that you can pay $4 for a latte and sit in the same spot for hours while not using up your data plan, got it. This place is almost always jam packed. I had an issue using my Starbucks card. I'm a rewards member in the green level. It says I'm supposed to have free soy milk and caramel syrup. This Starbucks, located on Knox in Highland Park, was mostly empty on a Sunday around 5 p.m. There were a few folks sitting on their ample patio, reading or working on laptops, and one or two people at one of the many tables in their spacious indoor seating area, but when we got in line there was just one gentleman in front of us. Even at this late hour of the afternoon their pastry case was stocked full, and they still had plenty of their cold brew, which I love. For some reason no Starbucks I've been to seems to carry almond milk, so I asked coconut milk in mine and it was quite delicious. My boyfriend got an iced Americano and downed it in the amount of time it took us to walk back to the car. The service was friendly if a little distracted (our names weren't so much called out as mumbled, drinks left to sit on the counter until we noticed them) but there was no wait and no shortage of places to sit, should we have stayed. A quality Starbucks experience overall. I'll certainly be back if I'm in the area and craving coffee. read more

This is one of my favorite Starbucks to visit. The outdoor seating is nice and quaint. The service is always prompt and the servers are friendly. I like to sit outside. Customers are turning to coffee at home, getting cheaper options, going less often, etc. Must not be the case at this location... I just grabbed a coffee here at 10 am and the place was packed. Good mix of Highland Park's finest collection of Mercedes-Benz driving post-tennis lesson variety enjoying coffee before a care free day of ordering around the help... and then two or three people with real jobs. The crew here is great, especially if you like a local celebrity siting -- Corey, the former lead singer of Black Tie Dynasty, is a regular in the AM rotation. Great place for people watching, great customer service, terrible as it is the evil empire in corporate coffee. read more

We do a mobile order almost every morning to this Starbucks, and it is ALWAYS ready in under the estimated time on the app. Unlike highland park village Starbucks, which takes about 15 minutes for a mobile order. Our favorite is barista is Phillip! Everyone has their morning routine and if it wasn't for him, mine wouldn't be a smooth one. He is so nice and works so hard to make sure everyone gets their items as fast as possible! My daughter loves Phillip too, he was so sweet when she told him she was losing a tooth, she always wants to go in and talk him. This location is always well maintained and the location is great too. I come here on a daily basis. So I feel it's my duty to write a review. I usually come in the mornings before work. The morning team is so friendly, always "Good Morning, Have a wonderful day." In the 3 years of my preference to this location, I've never had a bad experience. Geezuz, I've never had a mixed up order! It's quite the rush in the mornings. But they work at a fast pace, it's rare when I wait longer than 10 mins. (Please consider that there's no drive-thru & the location) The baristas move pretty quickly & ask you stuff like "Do you want that toasted, warmed, nonfat, caramel, shot of this or shot of that?" So if you're not familiar with the menu I could see how it could be overwhelming. Mostly everyone who goes in the morning know what they want, & are regulars too. Usually the baristas memorize your order if you get the same thing every day (not in my case). It is pretty cold in there, so I can see why the complains about that.
