I finally got to try this sweet La La Land in the retro house on Lower Greenville and it did not disappoint. Parking on this Sunday afternoon wasn't as insane as I thought it would be and there were plenty more comings and goings in the Trader Joe's lot next door. The curb appeal of the picket fence with white porch took me back to the beachy coffee shops of my youth. The inside was bustling and while plenty of people were waiting, it didn't feel over crowded. I also noticed it wasn't stuffy inside, but rather cool, which I so appreciated. The gentleman who took my order was so kind and silly, he had me laughing a few times. Other locations you stand like a cattle call in a mob waiting for your drink, but here I perused the books and found myself on the porch in a rocking chair. It was the miat relaxing wait I've had at any La La Land! My drink was delicious, as usual, and I enjoyed some of it while rocking on the porch. I didn't notice until I was leaving, but there was even seating out back! I will definitely be back!

I really love how they have non-dairy "clouds" from coconut cream and it's actually creamy. A lot of places will do non-dairy cold foam and it'll be super thin. I will definitely try more on their menu next time. The service here wasn't super great unfortunately, I was greeted by what I presume is the manager (she was kind) but the people behind the bar seemed like they had other places to be. Not the worst service, but it made me want to try other locations in the future instead. Inside the building is really cute though! The atmosphere is lively and bright. I will be checking out other locations for sure!

Customer service fantastic, and super friendly. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Yes you can customize your drinks. Whether you're vegan gluten-free vegetarian or nut free the spot has it for you. Matcha is absolutely delicious! Like no kidding it is. Saturday and Sunday morning if you come to this location, just be aware to wait over 40 min that is not included waiting in line to make order. The barista does take their best job and make your drink. It's wonderful as they can just be patient and your drink will come. It does get nosy on the weekend. If you come out a weeknight near closing time, it is very chilled and quiet.

Loved the merch in the back, especially the tote bags! It was packed at all times on a Saturday, and the line was always long! However, the drinks came out pretty quick, and the employees were definitely working hard behind the counter. I got the matcha squared drink, which was so creamy and not as sweet as some of their other drinks. I was wanting to try a holiday drink, but I was too scared it would be too sweet, so I'm glad I chose the squared latte instead. Not much seating inside because of how small it is, but there are some small tables outside on the porch, and the weather was perfect!

The best thing about my 1st experience at the much talked about La La Land. Café was the atmosphere. It's very clean and the colors reflect the same vibrant and refreshing atmosphere as the clientele. Everyone there was so young that I wondered if they were going to card me because I'm almost 60. Fortunately, no one did and my order was welcomed. I ordered their classic latte and that was the best $7 latte that I've ever had. It was also the 1st $7 latte that I've ever had and the last. The cost of a small cup of coffee, with bad ice, informed me as to why everybody there is really young. They don't know what coffee used to cost. I would definitely go again just for the atmosphere, but I would probably get a bottled water. That wouldn't be because I can't afford it. It's just hard for me to wrap my mind around that much money for coffee and milk. I do need to add that they have fabulous sturdy plastic straws. That's thanks to President Trump. No more paper straws.

Came on a Saturday afternoon, which was probably the worst timing since they had just launched their Disney collab. I've had their banana matcha before and loved it, so I was excited to come back for that fix. There were only three baristas up front??? One taking orders, one on the espresso machine, and another pouring milk. At one point, another girl popped out from the back just to pull stickers and left??... It definitely felt understaffed for the crowd, and it showed in the pace of service. The girl finishing the drinks looked exhausted and eventually stopped calling out names or orders, which left customers walking up and touching drinks to figure out whose was whose. I also noticed milk being left out for a long time, which made me uneasy. I asked for extra banana foam on my drink, but it didn't taste quite right...probably because it had been sitting on the counter too long. I still love their drinks, but the experience this time was pretty disappointing. If you're planning to visit, I'd recommend going during slower hours to avoid the chaos.

Small coffee shop that was very crowded. Very popular. Hard to find parking. Had to park a few blocks down the street. Do you walk with enjoyable though. Once I ordered, I may be waited about five minutes for my drink to come out which was not a long waited offer for how many people were inside. All of the sitting inside was taken. So I sat outside at the entrance. There were some tables and chairs on the porch. It was good weather so I did not mind. The sugar cookie latte I got was very sweet and tasty.

La La Land is soo cute!! I'm so happy I got to try this Dallas-based chain in Dallas. The matcha is good. The matcha is not the strongest, but I haven't tried the Matcha Squared drink. The drinks I tried were perfectly sweet and such a beautiful green color. Service was on par. The place gets really busy, especially with mobile orders, so the wait can be long.

Beautiful place! Drive is self service; order up front. Staff was busy but respectful, tactful, professional. They were busy but, they worked fast. My friend and I wanted to stop by for some coffee or caffeine while we were in the area. They have a variety of options but I chose to make my own drink; coffee and matcha mix and it was delicious, and my friend ordered a lavender latte. We loved our drinks and the presentation of our drinks. Love the yellow touches and aesthetic of the cafe. Great for small and large groups but mostly "study" or work groups. Place is great for studying or meetings and meet ups but still considered fast paced; lots of people coming and going. Love this franchise and will definitely stop by again. Till then, let's sip!

La La Land is a very popular coffee shop that is popping up seemingly everywhere in Dallas and surrounding. It's a very trendy, youthful place. The aesthetic is super trendy and very intentional and consistent. The store is very clean well-designed. There is a plenty of parking here next to Trader Joe's. There's a front porch with rocking chairs and tables and also a back seating area with umbrellas. The music is loud and jamming, but creates a great ambience. However, for me, that's where the goodness ends. The service is quite poor, but perhaps most people order via mobile apps so service is not the priority. Also, their coffee to me is disappointing, especially compared to other local "third wave" coffee shops. I much prefer Cultivar, Merit, LDU, or honestly even Starbucks. I came this morning to do some work and had an iced latte. Side note: they do not carry simple syrup (nor did they know what it was when I asked) which was seemed unusual for a coffee shop. I came back later after lunch and had a drip coffee, which tasted just a step or two above Folgers coffee. But hey - the cups are cutesy / cool looking. Ultimately, I suspect this is a factor of I'm just not the target demographic - which is Gen Z and female (the vast majority of customers who frequent here). read more

The aesthetic is always top tier. Even the cups are a vibe. We love coming every now and then for a treat. Friendly staff as well. I got the pumpkin spice latte this visit and was gravely disappointed, which is a first for me. My husband got the pumpkin pie latte and it was way stronger with the pumpkin flavor and even spice. Their avocado toast is incredible with the red pepper flakes, the cookies are thick and yummy, and until the pumpkin spice latte I never had a bad coffee. The espresso is smooth and rich, I look forward to it every time we're nearby. read more

At this point I am now waiting for a La La Land Kind Cafe to open in Las Vegas!! Was in town for work and had a few hours before my work meeting, decided to search around for a local coffee shop that I had not been to before! That's when I found this place...and discovered how many are in Dallas and CA! The coffee was great, the croissant is now a craving and the purpose is amazing!! I love their vibe and story, this location being a house style just added to the feel! The girls were friendly and welcoming, they enjoyed our excitement of being first timers! PS...if you sign up for the rewards...it's only for online orders. Which is a bummer, because the website doesn't say that and our first visit was one we wanted to enjoy there and not to go!! This location for some reason was busier than the other one I tried, but nevertheless the baristas work hard to make sure they get your order out in a timely manner. I came in to try the JLO Latte and it was so delicious! The Latte comes topped with birthday cake crumbles and it was the perfect balance of sweetness. My friend tried the Keith Lee Matcha and she really liked it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect place to catch up with a friend. read more

Stopped by recently due to the outstanding reviews I found online. I tried the upside-down latte, which was delightful. It had a great balance of sweetness without being overpowering. However, the service was quite slow. Even with a large crowd and a high number of employees on shift, the wait was surprisingly long. That's my only complaint. Go for the coffee, but give yourself plenty of extra time. read more

I decided to drop by after grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. I always love the vibrant and colorful decor they have at various locations. It puts me in a cheerful mood. During this day, it was quite a few people at this location but the line moved rather quickly. I tried the Lavender Bloom and really enjoyed it. I also ordered the butter croissant, but it was a bit over baked. Despite the croissant, I plan on picking up a different pastry the next go round and will be back for more coffee. read more

i was craving matcha and needed a good fix. i wanted to make sure that i was ordering from a cafe that only served ceremonial matcha. after calling and reading reviews, i discovered that they only use ceremonial matcha! they also had what i was looking for: a matcha latte with a cream top! i had to doordash it so i was a bit worried it would be watered down by the time i received my drink. to my surprise, it was still delicious! it was pretty good but didn't compare to other matcha places in la. since my first order was good, i decided to order it again the following day. i was pretty disappointed the second time around. i asked for an extra scoop of matcha but the flavor of the drink was extremely mellow. it tasted nothing like how it did the day before. if they got their consistency right, i would recommend this cafe to others. overall, i am unsure if i would come back. read more

I saw this was a popular place amongst tourists and had to check it out. First glanced, the outdoor pickup truck was adorable advertisement. Going in, the atmosphere was buzzy and homey at the same time! The branding was super cute as well. I got the cookies and cream latte and it delivered!!! I ordered half sweet and enjoyed the flavors and coffee perfectly without over sweetness! Overall, I had a fun experience and would come again if I ever were in Dallas again. read more

My wife saw recommendations to come here and it didn't disappoint! Busy Saturday morning but they do a great job not making the space chaotic. Our barista was super kind in her recommendations and even covered our drinks which was super sweet of her! I got the banana cloud latte in a matcha with almond milk it tasted sweet and I really enjoyed the hint of banana in it as well! He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). I can't believe I haven't written a review for this cafe yet! Anytime we have friends or family in town, this is the first place we take them to. They serve the best coffee and tea in Dallas but what keeps my wife and I coming back is the service. I've never met nicer people in my life! We were at Trader Joe's one day and didn't feel like waiting in the long line outside so we went to La La Land to wait it out. Our first time in we met Abbey. She was incredibly kind and talked us through the menu and made great recommendations. Abbey explained the mission of the cafe and it was so inspiring to see someone so passionate about spreading love and kindness and helping foster kids. When she said they serve kindness first she wasn't kidding! From the minute we walked in we were greeted by almost everyone, they told my wife she was beautiful and even though they were busy Abbey took the time to talk to us, ask us about our day and even recommended what groceries to get at Trader Joe's. When we left they told us they loved us which surprised us at first but, and this might sound weird, we felt it was genuine even though we just met her. We stop here before every grocery trip now and I swear my wife just looks for Abbey because every time we see her they talk like best friends who haven't seen each other in a while. Especially because of covid, it's been tough staying inside all the time. Thank you for being a bright spot in our life!! I came here on the holiday, pretty busy, no available seats, so we decided to-go. This place is right behind Trader Joe's and other businesses, so I think it would be always busy like this. I asked the person who took order for me "which one sweet and creamy matcha", she offered me a Milk and Honey Matcha, it sounds great to me so I didn't check the ingredients in the drink. Came here with a friend to walk around the lower Greenville area. My friend suggested la la land kind cafe and we came to hang out after shopping at Trader Joe's. The ambiance at the cafe is laid back and when we visited, the majority of patrons were studying on their laptops. We ordered a mint chocolate and a honey latte. I looove everything about this place!! The huge warm chocolate chip cookies are perfect to share, the coffee and matcha lattes are so good and the cafe is super cute. Nicholas (manager) is very friendly and accommodating... you feel like your hanging out at a friend's house. DO NOT COME HERE!! They have the worst customer service. And, another plus when I went to tell them about the crazy homeless lady yelling at my friends and I all they did was stare and nod at me. I will never be back her again or other chains. If I wanted to be in LA with the homeless I would have flown there. read more

This is one of the best and newest coffee shops in Dallas. Their mission is exemplified through their wonderful customer service and employing foster care youths. The avocado toast is a must try along with the campfire coffee. :) read more

FIRST TIME AT LALA LAND, LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE . Everyone was super nice . I was greeted when I walked in. The cashier Daniz was so nice and helpful she recommended the banna cloud latte and it was DELICIOUS. I will be back !! read more

The coffee is terrible, baked goods inedible. I wanted to support them, but the foul language on swag is just not admirable. Especially for a business that promotes ex-foster kids. Bad messaging, bad model. read more
