I popped in here after my waxing appointment because I needed some refreshment and I had to wait for my Uber. I got a medium black coffee and a slice of blueberry cake kind of like a pound cake. It was so reasonably priced. I had to do a double take. The coffee was great. I was able to drink the whole thing without adding milk, which means it was not bitter at all and it was in the afternoon about 2 o'clock the cake was a nice thick slice and I think their stuff is gluten-free here. It had a nice light non-guilty feeling to it lol I highly recommend this location because it is definitely but a friendly and the products are great. There are a variety of seating options, both indoor and outdoors. The baristas and cashiers were so friendly and happily provided their recommendations when asked. I got the butter beer iced latte and my boyfriend got a hot latte. They were both flavorful and super creamy. I also got the caprese sandwich, which came with either chips or apples and PB as a side. This meal was priced fairly, especially for West Village standards. It was also delicious and filling. There are many outlets and desks to accommodate work/study. I visited Sip Stir on a whim on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad I did! It's a great place to get some work done. There are plenty of seats and great natural lighting to brighten up your study space. Outlets are aplenty so you don't have to worry about not having enough charge to get through a work or study session. Parking is also plenty - there are a handful of street spots that are shared with the other stores in the strip, but there is a garage with tons of spots. It is 2 hour parking so I didn't want to tempt fate and did head out once my time was about up. Their drinks and pastries are pretty good! Just enough to power you through your work or for you to munch on while enjoying a nice cup of brew. Definitely will be back for more! read more

I came two days in a row because their crème brûlée latte is to die for! However both days my food was forgotten. I waited 30 minutes before having to remind them about my food. Both days. The second day my food was cold. For $20 for food and a drink, I expect better service. Employees are usually on their phones the majority of the time. I work in a bar and understand it can be tough when there isn't anything to do but I don't think it's acceptable to get on your phone when guests can see you. Maybe I caught them on a bad week but I was very disappointed about the service because there is so much potential for this place. Because the cold brew did the trick. --- --- --- I woke up in a nearby hotel and had a very short to-do list for the morning: 1) Get coffee 2) Get gas 3) Drive back to Houston I searched for "Nitro" on Yelp and Sip Stir came up #1. When I arrived, I asked if they had nitro and was told no. That's unfortunate, but it's honestly more Yelp's fault than Sip Stir's. The obvious backup choice was cold brew, and it was above average. My biggest gripe was that the paper straw lasted for maybe about six minutes. And my intention was to slowly sip this coffee over the course of a 3-hour drive home. Paper straws are awful in any circumstance, but in this case, it was especially bad. I did not plan on ordering any food when I came here, but I gave the Apple Peanut Butter Toast a shot and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it. Since the pandemic, I've started to become a regular here, working from Sip Stir Coffee House at least twice a week. Every time I come I try to go for different drinks or something off the seasonal menu - given that there's a school right across the street if you go in the mornings expect a wait but know the super friendly stuff is trying to turn drinks around as quickly as possible. This is a fairly inclusive and chill coffee shop, matching the vibe and aesthetic of the interior. Drinks I recommend: - Crème brûlée latte (hot) - Lavender vanilla latte (iced or hot) - I recommend an extra shot of espresso and oat milk - The harvest moon latte (hot) - biscookie latte (hot or iced) - I recommend adding a shot of espresso In addition to the drinks I've had the avocado toast and the Caprese Panini-- BOTH I strongly recommend.
