Oh boy. I read the reviews before me and wholeheartedly agree. This location is NOT where you want to stop for a quick drink. Honestly you'd probably be better off buying from one of the gas stations, time wise and money wise. It's very busy trying to enter the drive thru line, very tight for these huge trucks to be coming and going. Plus you've got the vehicles that are parked trying to get out, they can't back up because the drive thru line is in the way. So they have to wait too. It's supposed to be a DRIVE thru, but it's a PARK thru. The thing is though, the customer service is amazing! How surprising is that! The employee taking orders was upbeat and cheerful, super sweet. Which is why I didn't deduct more stars. In short, if you are just in the area craving Starbucks and have the time, save your hard-earned money and go somewhere else. Your drink isn't going to taste that great and you'll waste gas/time sitting in line. Waste all around. P.S. My strawberry açaí, that I've ordered hundreds of times from different Starbucks locations, tasted the worst from here. The placement of the syrup pumps are right next to the pick up counter and the costumer trash, sugar, and straws and every time the employees use the syrup pumps to put in the drinks it splashes and gets on costumers standing there and it also get on the drinks that sit at the pickup counter. They need to move the syrup pumps somewhere else. Other than that the place is great. The employee apologized and my drink came out good. read more

This place in Texas, otherwise known for their fast foods and vast landscape. Was a darling nifty place. The servers or baristas are pleasant and willing to accommodate for all people. I personally dislike going through the drive through so I make an ample effort to get out of the car talk to people and enjoy the ambiance. This place is extremely understaffed and in a horrible location. I would consider going into to the next Starbucks or to Bridgeport.

Kicked out for wanting to change & feed a 3 month old. Nichole shocked us today with the worst service I have ever experienced. My wife entered the store as a pit-stop during the middle of a 4-hour drive, with our 3 month old son who needed to be changed and fed. To our surprise, the toilets are not equipped with baby changing stations. My wife enquired about this while purchasing a beverage and was told "we don't have those in this store" by employee Nichole. It was quiet so my wife took her drink and went to a seat in the corner, laid out our collapsible backpack-diaper changer and began to change him. Nichole came from behind the counter and approached my wife to brigade her while she was trying to change our 3-months old diaper. A task that would take 60 seconds. When my wife responded saying that he had to be changed, Nichole demanded that my wife leave the store, and that she would have to "escort her out if you do not leave". A statement I would interpret as a physical threat - to a mother and her 3 month old. My wife hurried her things together to the point that she forgot the drink she had moments ago paid for from this facility. This isn't an issue with Starbucks as a whole. We frequently use Starbucks as our go-to pit stops, be it in Iowa Park Texas, Wichita Falls Texas, or Hillsboro Texas, on our commute to see family. At these facilities the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We will continue to stop at this particular locations. But it is a shame how Nichole, with the backing support of her manager Shelly, has taken Starbucks Decatur of the map for us simply because we were accompanied with a new-born. It's very disheartening to know that I could leave a review that is accurate and necessary to warn other customers of the filthy conditions and horrible attitudes of management and baristas, only to be taken down within days. There was no foul language or any untruths stated in it so I guess we know which side of the street yelp lands on. So I will say it again. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and ordered one drink for our daughter. Two other groups of people walked in after us and ordered and got their drinks before our order was fulfilled. They made probably 5-6 drinks before they finally made hers even though we had ordered before them. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. It is almost always a 30 minute wait - or more - even during non-peak times to get a coffee through this drive through. This location has some serious issues. Parking is a MAJOR issue here. There are only a few parking spaces shared by 4 businesses. It's a very small free-standing building with very tight parking and a very tight area in which to manoeuvre large Texas-sized vehicles, which you know all of us drive, especially out here in the "country". If you park here, park at your own risk and plan to be stuck for awhile because the line wrapping around the building literally has no where to manoeuvre out of your way. Getting in and out of this location can be tricky given the shared through-way for two other popular Texas establishments: Whataburger and Taco Casa. At meal times, it's a challenge to make the turn into the Starbucks or exit from the drive through, especially trying to get to the 287 frontage road. Looping back around the building to get out onto Business 380 can be a challenge too because sometimes other vehicles are in the way of the wide turn needed to get out. Second observation: I get that it's a small town and everyone knows nearly everyone, but putting a "Chatty Cathy" on the window does nothing to help speed things up. People working the drive-through window at a busy location need to be polite but brief when the window is busy, and always efficient and accurate. I almost hate to bring this up, but it needs to be addressed: this "Chatterbox" is always leaning out of the window chatting to people and it creates the perception that there is no urgency to move customers through the line. I think it's fantastic that the people in this location are happy and enthusiastic, but most consumers have places to go and people to annoy, and people are using the drive through at this location because given the limited parking and parking lot through-way constraints it makes the best sense. When the window speed of service improves I will adjust my review. read more

I'd say stay away from this one if you don't like metal in your drink. I naught a strawberry cream frap, a frozen drink. I didn't know until I got to the bottom of the drink that I was drinking it with metal in the bottom of the cup. It looks like a piece off the machines or someone's jewelry maybe. I have tried calling several times to inform the store but no one will answer the phone! I'm lucky I didn't drink the metal piece and thats assuming I didnt drink any metal! Stopped in after a long drive with my two year old. Little frustrating in the beginning because I told him he could pick out a treat. Since toddlers can be rather indecisive, and I didn't want to be "that mom" holding up the line, I let anyone who came in after us go ahead, plus I didn't want to get the baristas behind or slammed with a bunch of aggravated orders. Anyhow, despite trying to be courteous, each time my son decide on something, we would then be told they were sold out - opposed to being informed of what was actually available. The forth go around, when he started to tear up, they discovered the box they were opening contained their sugar cookie snowmen & a meltdown was adverted. The original barista who took my order then turned and told another one she needed to take her break and just walked away without a word to me and after apparently deleting my order so that I had to start over. (I was also ordering for other people but thankfully had their orders saved via screenshot.) While waiting for the drinks, a different barista began to loudly talk about how "stupid" people who use the mobile ordering app are because it "does not make a difference on wait time." Since I was standing there, disagreed with her and happen to be an avid app orderer, I spoke up and stated so as it saves me countless minutes on days I order on my way into the office. It was sad to see someone speak so rude and ugly because she was quite beautiful. Despite the adverse experiences, I did appreciate the young blonde barista that stepped in and helped take care of me plus they ended up making my order twice due to the first baristas mistake so I was able to take them with me (or let them be thrown away) and I got the last available drink carrier. My son loved his cookie, everyone's drink order was correct and they received a refill so to speak, so it all worked out. I'd just recommend they be more mindful of calling their customers names and maybe not so disrespectful talking about your customers so blatantly. If it weren't for the last girl, this would honestly be a 4 star review; and is not a 1 star simply because of how sweet your young, blonde barista was. read more

They were out of cold brew then the drive thru line was abnormally slow. Finally the sausage cheddar breakfast sandwich took literally 7 minutes once I'd already gotten to the window (AFTER waiting in line for 10 minutes with 3 cars in front of me). Not open. Permanent change. Refuse service to customers inside at in the drive thru. Bad service all around! Apparently, they changed the hours on the 1st of Jan 2023 to a close time of 7:30pm rather than 9pm. Confused?! The door is still open at 8pm (now) and you can stop in or drive thru, absent coffee. The door even says open till 9pm. However, the employees say they are closed and refuse service. Even as I leave this, they have turned away at least 15 other customers experiencing the same frustrations because the door is still open. Why? read more

Nice quiet location to work at!! I came in needing something warm on a cold day and they helped me find the best new holiday flavor. I easily found a corner table to work in peace here as well. Even though they were semi busy it wasn't so busy that I felt like my experience suffered in any way. Quite the opposite!! I will come back and office from here again for sure!! read more

This has happened three times. I ordered (through the app) a doppio (double espresso) with a SPLASH of heavy cream. Says so on my app. They filled up a tall cup with cream and added two shots of espresso with it. My low calorie drink just became a freaking frappacino or whatever that high calorie stuff is. I'll use their "creamer" laced with espresso as an additive in my coffee for the next three days. I really would love to use the app, but if I wanted a latte, I'd have ordered a tall latte made with heavy cream. read more

Apparently this Starbucks does not know the difference between an iced latte and an iced coffee. Twice now in a short amount of time I have ordered an iced latte and been given an iced coffee with milk in it. Like I am not going to be able to tell the difference. Iced coffee is gross and taste watered down. Waste of my freaking money. Do not go here. Very inconsistent quality. Need better training. Morning staff great. I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru for a coffee. Three cars ahead of me. What in the world is going on!!! I could have drilled a well, installed a pump ordered a press on amazon built my own coffee stand, sold it and made a profit in the time it took them to get me a receipt. The parking lot is the hardest to get to Starbuck's. When I am able to get a place to park I will stop for a latte. The sizes seem to have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. I'm glad the latte was hot and tasted good for a change. read more
