OMG!!! I absolutely love this place!!! Calling all Tea Lovers! So my daughter has been ranting & raving about this place for months, when I finally came to visit last month, it was the first place she brought me. It's not at all what I thought it would be. They have 35+ different flavors of iced teas setup in self-service style. There are sample cups that you can use to sample the large variety of flavors. Once you decide on a flavor (takes me 20 minutes to decide) you can fill-her-up with three different sizes to choose from. They also have a fruit bar where you can add a variety of fruit to your tea (added charge). To top off all this goodness... they offer a 1/2 Off Happy Hour daily between 2-4pm. Does it get any better than this??? I can only wish we had one of these in Vegas, but it's just as well, I'd probably go broke if I had easy access to H-TeaO. I've already been here 12 times in my three short visits to Denton. Oh, I almost forgot... they have a rewards app you can scan during each visit to get drips for a free tea. If you live near a location, it's a no-brainer to use. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend HTeaO if you like to drink iced tea. Even if you don't like tea, I suggest you at least try it, you never know, you might be hooked like me! I'll definitely come again on my visits to the area! read more

We ran in between thunderstorms tonight to get our drinks and gallons of tea. The awesome night crew (Zane, Aleah, and Emma) helped us with smiles and professionalism. They were cleaning the store and it was spotless. We have been regular customers since the store opened. And I always joke when I go in that HTeaO has ruined me for other sweet tea! I can't get enough of the sweet watermelon and sweet coconut. My kiddo loves their root beer and we keep a gallon of it on hand while it's in season. And we take sweet mint when we go to family functions. The owners are amazing and have always been ready to help when we need it. They have given back to the community too. Their customer service sucks I bought 2 gallons of tea yesterday both to be unsweetened and the gave me one sweet (my husband is diabetic... so that was out with sugar was out when I called she her and her husband are the only ones that can do exchanges and I can come back at 8 pm I am 10 miles from you I am not coming back tonight I wanted to take it back this weekend and she was like nope we won't be able help you. Had to stop by and try it while I was in Texas and I was not disappointed. I was able to sample a few before choosing and I loved that option since it was my first time and I didn't know what to except. I ended up getting the mango and it was amazing! order. 2 Huge Teas, a gallon of tea and a 5 gallon jug of water. Today my daughter and I came in for our order and at the register, the young lady ringing us up asked if I was a rewards member, I said yes and gave her my number. Tried to tell her I had a free gallon on my account but she informed me she had already "applied points to my account and could not fix it". I was confused and asked her why she couldn't just back up the order or cancel it and start over. I wasn't being rude, just confused as this has never happened before, and even said "it's ok I'll just do it next time". She got flustered and an older woman came over and asked what was wrong. I explained to her what happened and why I was confused and she immediately jumped on the defensive. Told the younger gal to ring up my 2 huge teas and 5 gallon water on another register and she would "handle her" (me). The young girl finished filling my 5 gallon jug, slammed it on the counter while cutting me dirty looks and half way wiped it off before stomping away. (It was still covered in water when I took it to my truck) I told the older lady that I really did not appreciate the attitude over a simple mistake that should have been easy to fix. The older lady snapped at me that the employees don't make enough money to put up with people like me and that I didn't need to be rude. My daughter spoke up at that point and very calmly stated I was not being rude, and I stated that it was basic customer service to ask guests if they would like to use any points on their order. The older lady finished the transaction for my tea and then walked to the other register where she then rang up my 2 huge teas and water, because the young lady had failed to do so, while also very condescendingly telling my daughter that she was only sticking up for me because she was my daughter and telling me they have hundreds of customers who come in and never use their points. I paid and the older lady snatched the receipt, crumpled it and walked away. I took my 5 gallon jug to my truck and came back for the gallon and had to ask for my receipt to be reprinted for me. The older lady shoved the gallon at me and told me to never come back. I took the gallon to my truck and went back in to ask for the number to corporate, something I never do. She smirked and told me there was no corporate. So I asked for the owners number and name and she yelled at me stating she is the owner, to get out of her store and never come back. I have never received such poor customer service from this location and stayed in my truck in the parking lot to file a complaint on the corporate website about this particular store and the experience we had. Once I got home, I realized the gallon of tea also had a hole in the bottom of the jug and had leaked all over the floor of my truck. Based on my experience and a few of the other reviews here, it would appear the owner does not like honoring points redemption (bites her bottom line I'm sure) and her solution is to make an entire ordeal out of it, blame the customer and then ban them from her store. read more

Such a fun place!! And great teas. So many options and love that they pretty much all have sweet and unsweet options for each flavor. We walked in today for the first time, and this nice male employee came around and told us all about their store! How their water is reverse osmosis, and their teas are made from actual leaves! There are unsweetened tea options, but also for the sweetened teas, it's all sweetened with natural cane sugar, which is so much better for our bodies than man-made sweeteners such as corn syrup and invert sugar. This place is consistent with their drinks, it must be SOP to literally fill the cup full of ice so that you get the least amount of tea that you pay for. I love experimenting with flavors, but my favorite is Sweet Almond Green. Is it just me, or does that tea have a smoother texture? Just go inside, y'all. You're missing out! WOW!! I pulled into the drive thru and the person helping me was so kind and when I told her I wasn't sure what to order, she encouraged me to come inside for samples. So I did and was so impressed! I received incredible customer service and was given so much information... RO water only for all tea and ice!! They have a huge selection of sweetened and unsweetened teas. This store is a huge disappointment. We have been going to this location since they opened, over the last 2 months the tea taste old and when we order the gallons of tea they have messed up the order every time. The owner requires you to bring the gallons back to the store. Not worth the trip and to make it worse the won't allow customers to use the public restroom, this is a clear violation of the health code. We frequent this place pretty often (4-5 times per week, spending $10-$20 every time), and last Friday when we came to get our normal drink order, I purchased a package of the Albanese sour gummy worms. When I got home and opened them (about a twenty minute drive in an air-conditioned vehicle), the candy was so badly melted that the package was stuck together and couldn't be pulled apart. I came back to the store and asked if they would kindly exchange the package, and they told me that they couldn't do anything for me. They told me that it was FDA regulations and that they couldn't return them to the company that they purchase them from and get their money back, so I was basically shit out of luck. No credit, no exchange of a worthless package of candy, not even like, "Hey, we will comp a tea for you"- which they charge more than $4 for but you know probably cost them pennies to produce. Absolutely love this location and the employees, but the manager of this location just gives me every red flag I can think of. Even as a customer, I get tense driving up and seeing that their manager is there taking orders. I understand efficiency and needing to manage a company. I worked with a certain, unnamed, coffee franchise for upwards of six years. Even as I place my order she seems judgmental and frantic. Simply put I do not like her attitude and I can tell she stresses her workers out to no end. The environment of the whole store just seems more stressed out and scared when she is present. I have also noticed their fairly high turnover rate, and I can only think that her managing style may be the cause. Obviously, I have no insider information regarding this matter, but I believe if the customers can tell that the manager makes the environment worse, change needs to be made. Kindness and appreciation goes a very long way. read more

I ordered two teas. One coconut tea and one chai tea and when I gOt home I noticed they gave me a diet tea instead of sweet. The only tea that I was able to try was the coconut tea and it was good. The nOn sweet tea was not good but then again I never wanted it in the first place since I love sugar. They have a happy hour from 2-4 which is nice and makes the drinks super cheap so try to gO then and check your drunks before you drive off. read more

It gets one star only because I like the tea. For service I'd give it a -5 if possible. I'm 75 years old and very hard of hearing. I seldom order at drive ups because I cannot understand half of what comes out of the speaker.. So I go prepared. I know my order. I speak slowly, loudly and enunciate clearly. Yesterday I went to the drive up and ordered two large wedding cakes. It's an item on their menu. I was then asked something that I didn't understand, but my adult granddaughter who was in the car with me told me to say yes, which I did. I waited and after about 10 second II hear "aren't you going to order?" Well I thought that's what I just did, but I again slowly and loudly stated " Two large wedding cakes." The response was unintelligible to me, but my granddaughter told me "She thinks you only want one." So I then yell "No two." Into the speaker. I then get a response that I cannot understand and my granddaughter assures me she still has only one tea on her order. There is not another car in line, so I pull up to the window thinking I'll have better luck in person. I get to the window and clarify my order. A very pretty young Hispanic or middle eastern woman starts ranting. "You cannot just drive up to the window. You needed to stay at the speaker until I confirmed your order. Normally I would make you drive to the back of the line." I reminded her that I am the only one in line. She then went on to tell me "If you ever come back and try to order at the window, I will make sure you go to the back of the line. " I assured her I would not be back, but she continued to lecture me on the need for me to order at the speaker. I then asked what her problem was. I told her I had to place my order twice at the speaker, then correct my order twice which she didn't understand. All I did was com to the window so she could hear me. She then insisted that I had done no such thing and went back into her threats about sending me to the back of the line if I ever again tried to place an order at the window. I told her to go fuck herself and drove off. All I wanted was a glass of tea, not an argument with an 18 year old nitwit tea Nazi. read more
