Oooh, there were some unusual offerings. I decided on the Brown Butter Toffee Dalgona iced coffee and ordered the Spanish Latte (iced) for my husband. Oh my, these were so unusual but so delicious. To the left of the counter, on the wall, are shelves with their own roasted coffee. My son bought us the small pack of their King Cake coffee as a treat (small packs make one pot). We are looking forward to trying it. This is quite a nice little coffee shop and I'm glad we stopped in!

All three of us ordered the "Sweet Bourbon Buzz" (vanilla, maple spice, bourbon caramel, and espresso). The lovely barista had them ready in a flash. Oh my goodness, that was a fabulous drink. Just the right temp, and you could taste every flavor in that drink, not overpowering but all complimentary. So delicious. We've been customers of Curled Creme since they opened the fall of 2023. It is a type of ice cream made by hand-rolling the ice cream base on a cold surface, creating a unique, rolled ice cream experience. These ice cream rolls are then topped with a variety of mix-ins and toppings, offering a personalized dessert. They regularly post photos of these tasty creations on their Facebook Page. The basic product is Cream Base, a Mix-In, and a Drizzle. You can add more toppings as you like. The shop is housed in a masterfully restored building downtown, decorated tastefully and comfortably. They get a lot of foot traffic from tourists downtown and its always fun to watch a group of children come in and watch them make the curled creme through the glass barrier around the frozen slabs they build it on. The owners are normally on-site and it's obvious they enjoy seeing customers satisfied with the product. From time to time they sell fried fruit pies and cake pops. DeRidder is very fortunate to have a business of this caliber in the heart of the downtown district.

Come again, so I asked her what would they do if I didn't have any other form of payment, do you take our food back and she said yes. How is this even a thing It's not our responsibility as customers to make sure we have small bills and you don't have change in the store. I called the store spoke to the manager on duty Stacey to get more clarity. She stated they had switched shifts, I asked well could I have waited 5 more minutes and you could have broken the $100 bills? She said no because they still wouldn't have had it! I don't understand I looked for signs stating no large bills but didn't find one. Other fast food places have a sign no bills bigger than a $20, $50 or $100. The right thing to have been is to tell us they were switching shifts, not just simply we can't break it and take our food back. How unprofessional!!! Luckily my husband and I were able to make up the $30 for the order so we could enjoy our sonic but now it's like we don't even want to come back Get it together, get change in place or simply train your staff to let customers know shifts are changing and they wouldn't be able to break change at that time.
