It is a type of ice cream made by hand-rolling the ice cream base on a cold surface, creating a unique, rolled ice cream experience. These ice cream rolls are then topped with a variety of mix-ins and toppings, offering a personalized dessert. They regularly post photos of these tasty creations on their Facebook Page. The basic product is Cream Base, a Mix-In, and a Drizzle. You can add more toppings as you like. The shop is housed in a masterfully restored building downtown, decorated tastefully and comfortably. They get a lot of foot traffic from tourists downtown and its always fun to watch a group of children come in and watch them make the curled creme through the glass barrier around the frozen slabs they build it on. The owners are normally on-site and it's obvious they enjoy seeing customers satisfied with the product. From time to time they sell fried fruit pies and cake pops. DeRidder is very fortunate to have a business of this caliber in the heart of the downtown district.

The staff always make the experience worth it. Everyone is so kind, patient, and thoughtful, and their friendliness truly stands out. One thing I appreciate deeply is how welcoming they are toward the military community. That kind of genuine kindness isn't something you see everywhere, not even at the Starbucks on Fort Polk, and it means a lot. The food is always warm in that way that you feel go down your throat and the coffee has such a bold, rich flavor that I look forward to every time.
