I usually don't write reviews, but my experience was disappointing enough that I felt I had to share. I visited the store on June 28, 2025. The barista with light bleached blonde hair, her name tag looks like it starts with an "A" in pink ink, was surprisingly rude and disrespectful. She was standing at the hand-off area when I politely asked for a bag. I'd already bought something and even apologized for the bother. The bag was right there next to her, and she didn't have to go anywhere. Instead of handing it over, she picked it up and slammed it down like she was trying to send a message, and her annoyed expression didn't help either. Honestly, it felt like an unnecessary power move. I think the manager should check in with her to see if she's really happy with the job. If she hates it that much, maybe it's time to reconsider. I was having a bad day already, but I still treated her with respect. I hope this can be a reminder that kindness goes a long way, even on tough days. read more

Because of one shift supervisor, Jocelyn, this was the worst Starbucks I've ever been to in any state. On a frigid rainy early Saturday morning, the shop was not busy at all, but Jocelyn wouldn't let me run in quickly with my young, trained golden retriever to buy coffee and a pup cup. No one, not a single car, was in the drive-through lane, so I walked up to the window instead, and she again turned us away without service. I'm a loyal Starbucks-paying customer with a gold loyalty card and have had great experiences at their other shops. Where is this one person's humanity? I have been working in Devon for the past two and a half years and I have frequented this Starbucks location a lot as I work night shift and need my caffeine prior to going into work. Overall, this Starbucks seems to be above average compared to other locations that I have been to. The staff are very nice and get my order perfectly correct about 95% of the time. If I ever have any issues with my order, they are usually quick to fix it and without a frown on their face. The coffee and cafe food are comparable to other Starbucks locations; I find it hard to compare and contrast them when it all comes from the same place. The atmosphere of this location is also comparable to other Starbucks locations and has plenty of seating. read more

Honestly shocked this location doesn't have higher ratings. I go through the drive thru when I come here during early mornings of the week and am always impressed by how upbeat and friendly the staff is. They are always so energized and kind, it makes it a great place to stop. I've also always found the drive thru to be quick and efficient and have never waited more than a few minutes. People have no patience nowadays, and I bet that's the case with those that have complained about the speed. read more

The bad: inconsistent quality, and inattention to the mobile app and to service items at the counter, to wit: oatmeal can be watery, dry or just right; there may, or may not, be cinnamon at the counter; there may, or may not, be those little green anti spill sticks at the counter. Inconsistent quality of cups and lids, sometimes leading to spillage The mobile app issue is an ongoing one and Starbucks seems to blow it off. The mobile app consistently shows items as "not available at this store" when in fact they are. Starbucks does s terrible job of keeping the database updated. Friendly people and a nice place to work or spend sometime with friends. They have drive thru and also outdoor seating (which is good in summer). this place is usually crowded and takes time to get your order in the mornings. Since lot of people drive thru and evening during a week day you can find spots to sit and spend time. But on weekends it's little crowded I would say to spend time there and get a spot to sit as it is kong is busy with neighborhood people. This places it really good. read more

Just skip this and give your business to small mom and pop shops like Poor Richards Coffee down the street which has organic grass fed dairy, is cheaper and is much more comfortable than this Starbucks which has about 3 high-tops, 4 comfy leather chairs (the only comfortable seating in the whole place) and one huge wood table. Thought I could just run in and run out...no drinks, just a spinach wrap. Devon is friendly, too friendly. There were 2 people in front of me...one was ordering when I arrived...4" later, he left the register area! Then the woman in front of me ordered and there was more clever conversation. All this chatting and 2 more people behind me waiting. I was present to retrieve my wrap,thankfully. The girl was so busy talking, she never got my name. Grrrrrrrr! When I pulled out of the lot, the last car in the drive thru lane when I arrived, was in front of me leaving! come on people, chat when it not busy....but if you have a line, let's move it alone. OK I usually rate Starbucks a 3 star, but this one has a drive-through! WOW! So I'm pulling up and wondering how I'm going to put the half n half in my coffee because I don't want those silly little containers that you have to pull open, potentially spilling them all yourself or your car, so I ask the nice attendant person, can I have cream and will you put it in the coffee for me? And she says yes! And I got the coffee and it tasted better than I usually do it. Hmmm, maybe all these years I've been putting too little cream in my Starbucks coffee? Or too much. The chain itself is what I am rating. The store itself was had a swift and savvy staff. Always polite and ready to take your order. As I've been s long time Starbucks consumer-- I've pulled back. While I know times are tough, they are even more cruel to the consumers. I understand raising prices and changing with the times (due to covid, supply and demand, etc) but to charge nearly $8 for a drink that used to cost me $4-$5 is INSANE! Some of us have allergies and now Starbucks charged $1.25 when substituting whole milk, 70-cent for each and every modification. My order is simply - chai tea latte with soy or oat milk with two pumps of toffee nut syrup (grande) , toasted white mocha with almond milk (grande, usually iced) or mocha latte with two pumps raspberry syrup with almond milk. I used to come in multiple times per week, now I visit 1-3x per month if at all. My drinks shouldn't break the bank. Half their cups, don't even work properly. Used to buy their merch but l have stopped doing that too. Their insulated cups don't even keep my drinks warm for more than five minutes and their cold cups (especially, the studded ones) I buy for my nieces break after one or two used. What used to be quality has become fancy knick-knacks dollar store quality. I'm a disappointed consumer... what happened Starbucks? What I do appreciate is them giving back to charity, giving their staff beautiful raises and their education scholarships support and IVF relief funding for their staff who are in need it. read more

This is the most horrible place ever you want to start your morning with . I had the most impatient cashier when I came in .she rushed to get my order even there was no one else in line - and of course - messed up my drink . Not just that - I handed her $20 , she took my money , turned around and came back ask me to pay again . I gave her my credit card (it's early in the morning and I'm definitely not a morning bird - can't focus with out my coffee ) - she made the payment with my card . When I asked her about the $20 she clearly YELLED at me : " so , you just want your $20 back ?! " I left the store , and I called to talk to the manager . I really like this place for studying--they don't pressure you to leave and the atmosphere is nice and quiet. One issue is that it's a little small, with only 3 or 4 small 2-person tables and one larger table (indicated for handicapped, but I think usually used by business people or students who need to spread out. There's a small sofa area (very small, one loveseat and two small armchairs) in the corner. I have noticed that there are a few employees that seem to have no patience for the customers and act a little tiny bit condescendingly, but I also keep in mind that this is a drive through Starbucks and they are constantly busy ( a LOT of people use that drive thru.. haha) so with that in mind, it's not such a big deal. I can't say much for their coffee--it's always tasted a little too heavy/burnt-ish to me, but I do like their tea lattes. read more

I started this review a few months ago and today I was prompted to finish it. Today, I got a bagel with mold on the inside. Whilst I was buttering my bagel, I saw something that looked like it was mold. Not full blown mold but it was fresh mold. Kinda green ya know? I thought it might have been some spinach residue from another sandwich. The. I looked at the other half and saw a whole mold sprout. Disgusting!! If I based my decision on whether to buy Starbucks, on this location..... I would never step foot in another Starbucks again. I am so happy they opened this location in Devon. It's a daily stop for me. The people here are very articulate, quick, and friendly. They have a drive thru which to me is a MUST have! Biggest problem I have about this place is whoever thought this was a good location for this place was not thinking at all! It's the tiniest place - the drive through is always a disaster because it blocks the very limited parking and there's not enough space for and the drive through lane is so tiny to get around. They need a much larger space for this Starbucks since it's so busy! read more
