Very average for a Starbucks, it's not bad, but Starbucks is all about the experience, great service great drinks, and a nice clean environment. This one is a little dirty and staff seem distracted and slow, maybe they are under staffed or need better leadership. I wouldn't avoid this place but as Starbucks go they are bottom of the barrel. Yes we're talking about Starbucks, but for Greenwood coffee shops, this is about as good as it gets. Given the lack of a local flair for the caffeinated, I would say this Starbucks certainly gets the job done. It's an all-in-one store, fairly decent size, and about as nicely decorated as any of them (though I will say I like the large typography mural centerpiece). If it's nice out I love sitting on the large patio and meeting the regulars, and they have a pretty solid following. I suppose so many people keep coming back for the staff--yes it's the only place you can go for a decent grande american--but the staff are the ones who really make the experience for me. They are incredibly friendly and attentive, and creative. If you get a chance to, ask Coleman to make you one of his frappuccinos. I wish there was a local coffee shop that Greenwood could plant it's flag in, but since there's not. Our neighborhood Starbucks will do the trick. read more

Hands down,this is the Worst Starbucks I have ever patronized. I was so happy to have Starbucks in greenwood. Hah! Joke is on me for sure. The worst service, most uncomfortable seating arrangements ( after recent Reno). They are so slow you might think you are getting pranked. I stopped going altogether and now frequent Panera for coffee etc. Because I love Starbucks brand coffee, I have and continue to use at home ( and collect stars) I went to greenwood store to redeem stars before they expired, and while selecting a pastry from showcase, saw little bugs crawling all over the cheese danish. EWWW Barista approached and when I quietly told him the cheese danish was crawling in bugs, he smiled and said, "oh that's ok, we don't take things from that case." HUH? WHAT? Really? It's ok with them that their display is crawling with bugs!!!? I was horrified and asked for mgr. mgr had the most ridiculous explanation. "It's a new case and we can't figure out how to get the food in there before the gnats get in. It's ok cuz we get everything 'from the back'. If it's ok with them that their featured display is bug ridden, how do you think the back room looks? Thinks it's clean? Bug free? The district mgr at this store is a failure and a poor representative of Starbucks brand. Will never go here again and telling everyone I know to beware. read more

I've had mixed experiences. It always takes too long in the morning in the drive-thru. The other day, I was behind a woman who had received her drink for two minutes while the cashier fawned over the customer's baby. Normally I'd like that personalization, but you have to assume people getting coffee in the morning are on their way to work. I wouldn't have stopped if I thought I didn't have time. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and a plain croissant. The drink arrived immediately. The croissant inexplicably took another 2 minutes. The lid came off the coffee immediately and spilled everywhere. I wasn't offered a napkin or anything. I don't go here often, so I may have just had a single bad experience. read more

This place was a true lifesaver for me a few months ago when I was visiting the area. You dont see many Starbucks around here and this one will be the only one you will see for miles. Had some urgent work come up while I was on the road and was glad to see them open. Staff were really nice, helped me with some tech issues connecting my laptop to their wifi, and even though it was a gloomy rainy day, the place wasn't too packed so a few hours of work went by nice and smooth. They take pride in the product they make and the brand they stand behind. Teri and her team are focused on giving amazing customer service and it shows they care with everything they do. The last two times i have ordered coffee it was old and stale. Go to the 7 -11 across the street if you want fresh coffee.

Usually experience decent service here, but today I have never experienced worse service from any business before. As soon as I entered it was like I was a ghost just standing there. They would occasionally ask "are you getting something hot?" And immediately walk away and not even listen to me. Again they would ask that question with the same result. Finally when someone asked for my order the same girl that asked that question sprayed him with whipped cream...
