We happened to be in the Greenwood area for an event, and stopped in here for breakfast. Well, the place was quaint...with some artsy decor, and decent overhead music. We shared a Ham & Cheese Croissant and this sweet pastry. I also tried their Hazelnut Latte. Well, the croissant and the pastry were delish...the Latte was just O-Kay. Aromas Coffee is what coffee dreams are made of! I love a local café that feels like catching up with a friend at home--only without having to clean your house first. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are always so friendly. Their coffee beans are incredible too--I love grinding them at home because the aroma (pun intended) fills the whole house. The food and drinks are just as amazing--smoothies, pastries, and breakfast that's to die for. Their avocado toast and DIY breakfast sandwich are out of this world! Honestly, every sip of their coffee takes me back to some of my favorite memories. Great little coffee shop in Greenwood! They are very friendly and answered my questions promptly. They have a great selection of pastries and snacks as well. It was very busy when I went in on a Tuesday at 11:30. I really like the book shelf! I got an iced mocha and it was phenomenal!! My bagel took almost 20 min to get out . The two baristas were not busy , how ever they had enough time to snicker and talk about me . Then gave me a bagel in prepped so in a paper bag ( I was eating in) so that made me feel unwelcome. and it wasn't even busy. The ambience was nice. Maybe the owners need to come in here in the morning three employees you think a bagel would take with them 18 minutes towards the college girl before he got her fairly quick. Good spot for a chat with company or to get some work done. I loved the music they had playing, and I appreciated the items for sale from the local ministry/Christian-owned businesses they support. My wife got a delicious slice of avocado toast that she enjoyed, and she liked her drip coffee. My latte was...okay. I think it was how I ordered it, so no points off there. The staff was helpful...once we were actually greeted. All 3 staff members were busy when we walked in (which I get!), and no greeting or "We'll be right with you" was said. After waiting at the counter for a few minutes, one of them said to another "Will you help them?" and he replied "Oh, yeah!" I'm glad I went to try out and support a local coffee shop, especially during COVID-19, but we won't go back. Customer service is big for me and honestly Starbucks may do it better down the street. read more

I was so disappointed to learn that they no longer have almond milk. I have to watch my sugar grams and oat milk has too much sugar in it. I love the homemade ginger snap latte and was very disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to have one since they no longer have almond milk. I would be willing to pay more for a good almond milk. Unsweetened Silk almond milk and Califia Farms unsweetened barista blend are two of the best almond milks for making lattes. If they would use one of these and bring back almond milk for lattes, I would not ever go to Starbucks! read more

Quaint coffee house with excellent vegetarian options. I'm not vegetarian but had a vegetarian breakfast sandwich and it was AMAZING. If all vegetarian food tasted like that sandwich.... This cafe would get five stars alone for the fact that they offer lavender lattes as I am crazy for lavender flavored coffee. What's more is the make their own lavender syrup in house! I usually order mine with extra lavender due to my obvious addiction involving that particular floral flavor. Hot or cold, it is an incredibly satisfying drink. But wait, there's more! They also offer a fantastic lox bagel! The amount of cream cheese is perfect, in my opinion, as I feel many restaurants put far too much on a bagel. Some may disagree with me on this, but I think the amount they use is just right. There is also a generous amount of lox on the bagel, which is pleasantly surprising since many other places will put only a scant few thin slices on theirs, leaving one feeling woefully unfulfilled. And, let's not forget the capers and red onion, the perfect accompaniments to the two stars of the show. This bagel has it all to the point that I never order anything else when I come here. As long as I can keep getting lavender coffee and a spectacular lox bagel, I will keep coming back. read more

I'm new to the whole coffee thing. I like frappes, so I got one. It was pretty good. I like more sugar flavor than the coffee flavor but I know that's not authentic. But my husband got just coffee and said it was real good. We also got everything bagels. Mine ham and cheese his cream cheese. The bagels were very good and fresh. The lady that took our order was very friendly and welcoming. And I just loved her accent. This is a comfortable cozy place. And very clean. Better prices than competitors. Nice ambience. Good hours. They have a small room for business meetings. It is kept clean. I really like the veggie smoothie that they have. If you like chai they can make one for you with extra spices and its so very good. I love, love, love this place! Never really cared for Starbucks due to the "clique-like" atmosphere. Aromas is the open and welcoming bohemian/hippie atmosphere that feels cozy while Starbucks is more clean cut and modern. I love the coffee and think it is better quality for the cheaper price. My boyfriend and I go here every Sunday and get the ButterBeer Frappes and today we go in to get our usual and when the girl made them they looked different because usually there is drizzle on the inside of the cup and on top so I asked about it and with a nasty attitude she said we never do any drizzle this isn't Starbucks we just blend it in. Not only that but it tastes like a caramel frappe not at all like the butterbeer I've been getting for almost a year now. Don't waste your money buying gift certificates to Aromas!!! I received a gift certificate in 2020. When I finally had an opportunity to go, I was excited to try their coffee! However, I was told the manager had to approve/sign off on it but unfortunately, he/she was not there. The coffee had already been prepared so I just paid for it. On my 2nd visit, I was told the gift certificate machine wasn't working. Since the gift certificate doesn't have a code to scan, that didn't make much sense, so I suggested the cashier write the date, purchase amount and remaining balance on the gift certificate itself. I was told that couldn't be done. I left with no coffee. The 3rd time I attempted to use my gift certificate, I was informed that they are no longer accepting this type of certificate because they "switched over to a new system 4 or 5 years ago." I received this certificate 3 years ago so that excuse was a complete lie! Once again, I left with no coffee! This has been a very frustrating experience and I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to. Unless the management would care to right the wrong, I have no plans to ever shop at Aromas ever again! read more
