This Starbucks doesn't have to be good because it's the only coffee house in the rest stop so they can employ a bunch of teenagers who spend more time talking to each other than they do actually making the orders. When it takes 13 minutes to remember that you forgot to make a cold brew and then it takes 30 seconds to pour it that's a problem. And then when you pour it and hand it to the customer and it tastes old that's an even bigger problem. For me. The issue is the staff. They're just not mature enough to execute formula orders. Starbucks as a company has spent years developing a process with recipes to make it quick and consistent and this staff just can't execute. Every time I walk in, I ask for a hot tall/grande coffee, and every time I watch them pump out drink after complicated drink while they make me wait 15 minutes to put a cup under a machine and then skimp on the milk. They truly need to get their stuff together. My average wait time across 5 visits was 13 minutes for a single hot cup of coffee. I know a lot of people order the brown sugar shaken espresso but not everyone wants all that sugar. all i asked for was a shaken espresso with just oat milk and i've been given a brown sugar shaken espresso. i don't want that! it's too sweet. next time actually listen to what the customer asks for i just wasted nearly $8 because of the drive through workers incompetence so thanks for that. read more

I'm not one to write reviews, but this one... I just had to. This location honestly should be shut down. I've never seen or encountered such incompetent people. I've given this location many chances, as I live within walking distance, so I can't beat the convenience factor. However, due to many reasons I will be choosing to drive to other locations from here on out. I last visited this location on Friday 12/13. I was there early before work, I believe I pulled into the drive thru at 6:34. There was one car ahead of me. As always, the staff lacks the ability to multi-task like any other Starbucks can. What this location does time and time again, is take an order and ONLY service that singular person until they pay and receive their drink. Which is exactly what happened again. The drive thru worker neglected taking my order until she entirely finished with the car in front of me. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but every other location can do two things at once. Take the order of the car ahead of you, service them, while also taking your order once the car ahead pulls up. This never occurs here. As I previously stated, I pulled into the drive thru at 6:34, my order was not taken until 6:37, once I arrived at the window I was not offered to pay until 6:41 where I scanned the app on my phone to pay. My drink was not handed to me until 6:44. 10 minutes to receive a grande hot coffee with a splash of milk and bacon grueyere egg bites. During this 10 minute span I overheard the one drive thru girl ask the other worker if she gave me my coffee, lo and behold she never even made the coffee in the first place. Then when I received my coffee and began to drive off, the girl at the drive thru accused me of not paying. She didn't remember that over 3 minutes prior I scanned the app to pay. I'm a very understanding person, and get that everyone has an "off" day, however, when it's every time you visit a location it gets a bit ridiculous. My order isn't even elaborate or crazy, it's literally just a grande hot coffee with a splash of milk. My boyfriend, has spoken to their manager many times and has complained to corporate as well. There excuse for months has been that they're undergoing changes with the staff, and restructuring the store. To tell you the truth since we moved here 2 years ago there's always new faces. It seems that no staff stays. Yet they all lack the common sense and capability to multi task or handle basic orders. It must be in the job description posted. I'd like to think it's because they're short staffed, but they don't even lack staff. It's almost as if there's too many cooks in the kitchen, if you catch my drift. This location on many occasions has more nursing staff than many med-surg floors in a hospital, yet the line still goes out to central avenue on a regular basis. I digress... I'm no expert but there seems to be no basic structure at this location. Here's a suggestion: Put one person who does the front cash register on "food" duty and have them also make basic drinks like making hot coffee, someone else can do drinks for in person/drive thru, and another person can do mobile orders, and someone else can take the drive thru orders. Whenever there's downtime everyone can collaborate and help one another, other than that everyone should be aware of what their job is and stay in their lane. This suggestion would account for 4 staff members being on duty, which seems like they typically have 4+ staff members more times than not. It's not a difficult concept, but it seems like every manager they hire can't seem to execute a plan of this magnitude. I was heartened to see that the Starbucks Drive Thru on Central Avenue was open and there was a line of at least 40 cars , with drivers waiting patiently to place orders for their favorite lattes and other popular menu items. Given the pandemic, I'm sure for many of those waiting on line, this would be the highlight of their day! read more

Out of all the Starbucks locations I go to in Westchester, this location has one of the nicest staff. I have never dealt with the drive thru so I can't rate that but I normally walk here since it is not too far from me. Leaving one star off because of the parking lot. The few times I have tried to park, it was awful because no one parked inside the lines so space was even more limited. If you have a big car, don't even attempt to park in here! read more

The Starbucks was nice and had a drive-thru which gets very crowded and backed up. I think I would have given it three stars but the truth is the staff was really really nice to me and they were really willing to go the extra mile. I couldn't find cup sleeves and they worked to make sure that I got what I needed. They also helped with other things and generally made the place pretty upbeat. This is a relatively new Starbucks that opened in Hartsdale. I've been to enough of them over the years to learn that not all Buxes are created equal. While I'm a relatively simple person when it comes to orders, you can imagine if you come to a location with poor workflow or disengaged employees it can really put a damper on your experience. This particular Bux is not the closest to my home or work, but it's right on Central Ave which is super convenient if I'm cruising along the strip shopping. Since that's where I was this morning, I decided to pull in and order my morning coffee. Staff was super nice and attentive, plus they have a drive-thru which is always a nice option. Overall, this is a solid Bux - service was fast and friendly, and my order was prepared accurately. I'll keep this in mind next time I'm on Central and am looking for some coffee. read more

I love driving my car and listening to my sirius radio stations. So naturally whenever I am craving for a starbucks coffee and I don't wanna miss the music or the talks on my radio I prefer a drive thru one. The staffs here are nice, and they were easy to talk to. Thats one thing I noticed about starbucks employees, they kinda remind me of Jollibee employees... even if I don't see their faces while ordering at a drive thru, their friendly voice feels like are really happy to serve you. I usually come to this starbucks location about twice or 3 times a week, most of the crew are very friendly and usually make my drink accurately. A nice space to study or finish up work. My only complaint would be that i've felt like an ignored customer a few times i came in. In these situations would understand if someone that had ordered before me or if the staff was busy, but that was not the case, i could clearly tell because i have worked at coffee shops and bakeries in the past. When this has happened it takes forever for them to make my order when i never order over 3 items. I just wish they would acknowledge that a customer was waiting on they're order. read more

I must give a huge shout out to the this team that is working through this time of the covid 19 This morning my daughter and I decided to go to the drive thru as it is our 12 day of staying home with no interaction with anyone, the drive thru seemed to be the way to go. Anyhoo we waited in a huge line of cars everyone being patient we get to order and the guy that took our order made us smile with his upbeat attitude on this rainy day (asking how we are doing on this rainy day followed by what we would like to order) time to get to the window to collect our drink and croissant the guy at the window also had a chirpy upbeat attitude handed us our order and told us please enjoy !!!!! When my daughter held up her phone to pay he said " the person before you paid for you" my daughter replied are you sure because we have no idea who was in front of us he replied " well ain't that cool " with a huge smile that suited his upbeat attitude. I was surprised by my experience here today, because usually the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Today was an unusual experience for me at this location. At the drive thru, I ordered the double-smoked bacon croissant sandwich with no meat and two other items. They said to wait to be sure they had everything, which I appreciate so I am not surprised by something not being there when I pay. I pulled up and paid and received my items, then left. I realized down the street that there was bacon on my sandwich. I turned around and drove back to the second drive thru window, explaining that the sandwich has meat and it should have been meat-free. The male employee took the sandwich and said "Can you pull around to the parking lot and we'll bring it to you there?" I pulled around and waited. A female employee brought it out to me and handed it to me but said nothing. I said "Thanks" and she said "Sure." No apology from anyone for the fact that my order was wrong, that I had to come back, that I lost time, etc. Like I said, this was an unusual experience at this location, but I was unimpressed by the lack of manners and politeness this morning. read more

I live nearby and visit this Starbucks fairly often, and with lots of different people. From my experience there is nothing not to like about this Starbucks, which is a WONDERFUL addition to the neighborhood. Reasons why... The drive-thru option is a terrific feature. There is plenty of parking. There are lots of seats available, and different kinds of seating (small tables, cushioned chairs, and a long wooden "desk" in the center of the store) too. The staff - and I've been there AM and PM, weekdays and weekends - is courteous. Despite the fact that two sets of doors are constantly opening and closing, the place is kept at a reasonable temperature both during warm and cold weather; I never recall being distracted by how hot or cold the place was. The restrooms are clean. Orders are filled promptly and accurately. I have never (nor has anyone accompanying me) ever had an order filled incorrectly. read more

Friendly, helpful staff makes all the difference here. They didn't have quite what I wanted, so they made something even better (and a refill). That's going the extra mile. Seems like a good team, even when a line formed they worked together to move it along at a brisk pace. The music was a bit loud but lent itself to a more fun atmosphere. This is a great place to recharge during the day (both with the coffee, which was very good, and an outlet near my table where I could plug in my phone). This is just a pretty decent Starbucks. Situated by the train station makes it a convenient for waiting for your train or to pick someone up which is nice. I just wish there was more help with making drinks during rush hour as it can get pretty backed up and frustrating but other than that this venue is typically clean and offers good customer service from its employees. read more

The best Sbux I've ever been to in my life, service was absolutely amazing and lightning fast. Jimmy and Dane are amazing I've never been in and out of a drive thru so fast. I returned a few days later to give the cafe and try and even better. I was Blown away, it was as if they knew I was in the way and I'm not even a regular yet. If I had to choose between this place exploding and my own crib homie I'm choosing my set Ju heard cuz this place is irrefutably the zenith of coffee standards. Starbucks Management put the HEAT UP in your stores! Today the temperature outside is in the high 60's on 9/30/17. We walked in and sat down for 5 minuets, and COLD AIR was blasting from above - we did ask the staff if they could lower the blasting cold air and they told us they do hot have the ability to regulate the temperature that is done in the main office. We are not going to spend our money on coffee sitting in a place that is cold. So, we left never to return there are other establishments that serve coffee with heat on. Honestly, more people should start to complain about the cold temperature inside or just go to another establishment for coffee. read more

First the Pros, two stars for plenty of parking, drive-thru, convenient location. Spacious interior conducive to settling in and getting some work done on your laptop. However, although the employees are very friendly, they can't seem to manage to get your drink right. I've been here quiet a few times since this Starbucks is so close to home, and this seems to happen more often than not. Example, plain iced coffee, light on the ice, gets a cup full of ice. A medium tea with only one tea bag inevitably gets two bags. Overall, not a bad place to visit, but I'd recommend sticking to orders like "large black coffee." read more

I drive here almost daily with my brother after lunch and everyone is great. However, the barista that stands out by far is GEORGE! He is AWESOME! He's quick, friendly and really knows his stuff!
