I heard of this place but never went in. I finally had a chance and was very pleased. is delicious. I went in with my small dog(in my carry bag) and the owner was so nice and we started talking our dogs which share the same name. She also told me the cafe is named for her dodog, which the nick named pamplemousse. How ssweet. Anyways, the service was great as well. Very friendly and welcoming environment. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I only order a coffee. Will update when i try their other pastries.I will definitely go back.

Lovely and helpful baristas! Thanks to their recommendation, I tried a delicious caramel macchiato with oat milk. The ambiance in this cafe is also cute-- I love it! And extra points for giving back to the community through its profits, which isn't something many cafes do. Check it out asap!

Pamplemousse is the most perfect example of not judging a book by its cover located on Mamaroneck Ave in Downtown White Plains. From the outside, you will never know what a cute café this is with lots more natural elements. There are cafés and then there are cafés. Pamplemousse fits the last one. And, these folks are pushing the envelope with a social conscience and giving back to the local community. For a super early 8ish Sunday morning, I beat the traffic AND found parking right in front. Any later, and I would've been out of luck. The folks at Pamplemousse take their coffee to heart. Since I haven't been a coffee drinker for a very long time, I decided on a Ghirardelli hot chocolate as my drink of choice. And since I'm focusing more on protein, the Vegetarian egg bites (2 per order) called me and so did the Chocolate+Pecan+Nut Protein Balls. I just couldn't bypass their Chocolate Truffles and boy do they have variety. The key lime was my favorite as it was more pronounced. The Salted Caramel was good- so was the Raspberry-filled. As someone who doesn't eat meat, the menu here is super creative- case in point, the vegetarian egg bites and protein chocolate balls. Service was phenomenal. Follow my voice- if you want good vibes, nice drinks- coffee and non, savory bites, sweets and plenty of photo ops, this is definitely for you.

Please support the locals! Especially this fine establishment I only kept this review short because I've already reviewed my go to coffee/cafe lounge :). Once again please support the locals!

What a nice little spot to pass the time on a rainy day. I was pleasantly surprised by the options-- far more variety than your usual coffee shop. Extra pleased that there was a savory option- egg bites! They also have gluten free baked goods- including some delicious mini almond cookies. Their housemade truffles and wall-o-candy were tempting, but I resisted. Service was warm and friendly. Community seating and some smaller tables are available. Definitely LGBTQ+ friendly with gender neutral restrooms. So happy I stopped in here!

The Pamplemousse Project has been on my radar for a while now. When I first heard it was opening in Downtown White Plains, I was initially confused as to what type of business it actually was. Would it have something to do with grapefruit? What is this project they speak of? What do they mean by "The"? So many questions with so little answers. When I eventually learned that Pamplemousse was a coffee shop, I instantly got excited; I have been waiting for more independent coffee shops to come to the city, and it seemed like I was getting my wish. I was recently walking down Mamaroneck Ave and noticed it was finally open, so I decided to stop in and check them out. Pamplemousse is in a prime location, right on the Mamaroneck Ave strip in the heart of downtown. They are somewhat unique concept, as all of their profits are donated to charity (their website fully describes their business model). I *loved* the vibes as soon as I walked in - white exposed brick paired with a combination of stools and comfy chairs where you can sit and enjoy your treats. Further back was the ordering counter, followed by another seating area. The overall aesthetics were really speaking to me, I can totally see myself sitting here getting work done. Pamplemousse is primarily a coffee shop, and the menu has a good variety of hot and cold coffee beverages. I also noticed display cases of baked goods, chocolate confections, as well as selections of proprietary bagged coffee, bulk candy, and some other miscellaneous seasonal merchandise. I was looking for a beverage, so I decided to order a cappuccino to go. I was given my choice of milk, sweetener, and whether or not I wanted cinnamon added (mmm yes). They also asked if I wanted to join their loyalty program which, was a hard yes from me. Before I knew it my beverage was ready, and they even included a small chocolate candy sample. The cappuccino was great - not too hot with just enough sweetness. Service was excellent - the staff was warm, friendly, and really elevated my time here from a visit to an experience. Overall, The Pamplemousse Project is a total yes - this is exactly what White Plains needs, and I wish nothing but the best for this new business. I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

A cafe you have to try! Walking on Mamk Ave, I walked past it but did a 360 turn and went inside. Reading about their mission and contribution to the community, I knew I had to support. The iced vanilla latte was the perfect blend and I really enjoyed it!! The environment and space inside is very aesthetic and welcoming - I sat and drank my latte while listening to the jazzy music. I will definitely come here to study/work. Check it out!!

Such a beauty of coffee shop for the sweet tooth. The drinks need a lil upgrade as a refresher. Lots of options for crossiants and homemade chocolates available

Closest replica to a coffee shop you would find in nyc. Decent amount of outlets in the back where this picture was taken from, but the front seating looks a bit harder to find outlet capabilities, although we didn't try very hard. Cute local art for sale on one wall. The space Seems narrow but quite long. On the pricey side but it seems like the profits go toward local charities which is fabulous. Big selection of drinks. They bring the food to you. Friendly staff. Definitely going back. Only down side is there's no free parking since it's in white plains downtown

Very chill spot and friendly. Got an Americano and a croissant with ham and swiss cheese. Came for coffee with a friend and the environment was very nice.

A cute little coffeeshop in the middle of White Plains. It's a warm environment inside and the staff are very friendly. They have a decently large menu with some pastries and chocolates available, in addition to drinks. I have enjoyed the everything croissant and the mochaccino muffin, which pairs nicely with a warm drink in the winter months. My go-to drink is a matcha latte so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they used Uji ceremonial matcha. I typically order an extra hot matcha latte with almond milk, so of course had to try it here. I will say that the powder is more on the bitter side compared to other coffeeshops I have previously frequented and I wish they would use more powder so that the flavor was stronger. I'd recommend adding some complimentary honey packets to balance out the bitterness. Overall a nice spot to get some work done and have a midday treat! Also, always happy to support a local business :)

There is a take-away area at the front where you can purchase breads, arepas, and other easily portable foods, in addition to the tables and seating area in the back of the restaurant. We opted to dine-in for breakfast and try a variety of plates: calentado, arepa con chicharron, morcilla, and bunuelos. The calentado transported me back to Medellin and, honestly, it kept me full for the entire day. The morchilla, arepas, and chicharrones were cooked to perfection and we were provided with a variety of sauces to add an extra boost of flavor. Absolutely everything was delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable when compared with the other breakfast restaurants in the area. The service was very friendly and attentive. Most of the clients spoke Spanish, including us, but we did hear them speaking English with a few tables that morning. This restaurant is a little piece of Colombia in White Plains and brings some much needed diversity (and flavor!) to the regular breakfast scene in this city.
