Located inside Tripler Army Medical Center next to the American Eatery is a "mini" Starbucks. This is not a "full service" Starbucks such as you'd find located next to Jamba Juice with Wi-Fi and chairs/couches to chill on... it's very small with a limited menu. I'll have to take a picture of the menu and upload it here so you can see for yourself. I didn't even know there was a Starbucks next to the eatery (and I always go to Subway which is next to the eatery as well!) until my co-workers asked someone to make a coffee run. I was all for going to the cafe or to the exchange but they wanted Starbucks. I thought they were kidding... I wasn't allowed to leave the hospital! Nope, it's inside the hospital. What whaaaaat?! Where have I been all this time?! Indeed, it's next to the eatery, and it's Starbucks coffee. There is a separate line for the coffee... and they have basic "hot coffees" such as white chocolate mocha, mocha, vanilla lattes... etc. They also have "cold drinks" but I'm not sure if they have blended drinks (frapps)... each time I've come I always order "hot" coffee. Prices are comparable to other Starbucks locations. They do accept cash or credit/debit which is a plus if you don't always carry cash like me. I'm not too much of a coffee drinker... I mean when I have my moods I crave a certain type of coffee (vanilla latte for example) but I don't feen for Starbucks like my co-workers do lol... great small place to get yer caffeine fix with friendly staff! There is a lot of seating in the dining room (as well as outside) if you're not in a rush to get back to work (or whatever it is that you were doing) Hours: Mon-Fri 0600-2100. Sat-Sun: 0800-1500.

Mango Iced tea Lemonade. Yum yum!

Every time I come down here, I stop in and get an iced strawberry green tea. I can't get the other stores to make it the same as they do... I should ask them how they make it. I always use my gold card here and drink down my first tea while I'm killing time and then go back for my refill (within the hour, while staying in the food court area, with receipt) for the rest of my Tripler endeavors. Staff is always friendly and helpful and everything always looks clean. Sometimes some Starbucks just rinse out the blenders and such... I can see the mocha dropping down the sides. Not this place. Last time, I got some kind of rice krispy treat type thing. I had been craving the original version for a while and I thought, "Why Not?" It was super junk. It wasn't sweet at all. It tasted like dry cardboard. Yuck. Never again.

Refreshing!!!

The real Starbucks took over the spot once occupied by the American Eatery. Why only 3stars? They only had Pikes available

I visited Panday at the Kailua mini swap meet. It was a small, kind of random event that…read moresurprisingly didn't have any other food or drink vendors. I felt kind of bad because it was a one person show and the owner guy had to accommodate a lot of customers by himself! It was a hot day and a cold drink sounded great. I heard someone mention there was a coffee vendor but the person made it sound like they were only selling cups of hot or iced coffee. Then someone walked by with a matcha drink and I knew I needed to check out Panday's booth. There was a small line of customers and the guy was working hard to chat with people, collect payments and make drinks. When it was my turn, I ordered the "Biko" coffee which is their special Filipino rice/coconut/condensed milk coffee. He said he probably didn't have enough and I should look over the menu to see if I had a second choice. I chose the banana matcha and he said he didn't have any banana syrup. I mean maybe the event was so popular that he ran out of drinks quicker than expected. I guess he was the only food/drink vendor at the event and it was a hot day.... In the end, he had enough Biko for my drink and everything was fine. It was a good latte and flavorful, but idk if I'd go out of my way to find it in the future. I do want to try the banana matcha still though. For a one man operation, this guys is killing it. He makes the espresso shots to order, so drinks may take a little while to get made. He was good at chatting up people in line while we waited though. Hopefully I'll see panday coffee at another event soon!

Stop and smell what's brewing…read more.. That's exactly what I did as soon as I saw the sidewalk sign right outside of Fishcake in Kaka'ako and I'm so glad I did ;) checking out their menu you can find the usual espresso, latte and americano and now for the fun stuff...their "Specialty Drinks" from Monkey Coffy which has house made banana syrup, Biko which is a Filipino rice milk coffee and even the newest The Panday Pandan Latte! I really was intrigued by their Monkey Coffy but really wanted to try their Matcha when they said that I could combine it for "Monkey Matcha" whaaaaaaat!!!! Their only concern is that the banana syrup could overpower the matcha so they weren't confident to put it on the menu but I tell you it was yummy and yes the syrup was very flavorful as I was told it is made with real bananas and has the equivalent of two bananas in each cup...incredible. The staff is amazing and informed me of the wait with several orders already in the works but I do love the creativity as they bring in the culture crafted in each cup is unique and "sip"ly delicious. Thank you!

I told myself I needed to come back to try their coffee instead to get a full review of what else they had to offer. I finally came back n' I'm so happy I did bc both the Kū Kāne Cold Brew n' Hunneh Gurl Espresso were really good! Rich in flavor with hints of sweetness. I would say if you want an iced coffee, they got you covered along with Red Bull n' Lotus Energy infusion drinks. So glad I got the chance to give them a second try!

The Salted Maple Coffee had a nice hint of salty n' sweet n' went very well with the coffee. I really liked the fresh strawberry puree in the Strawberry Matcha. Was hoping for more of a matcha-y taste throughout the drink. I believe they mentioned in an IG story that they will be sourcing a new matcha soon, so I am eager to see if that will enhance their matcha drinks to be the best it can be. Will have to try it out once it becomes available!
