Chelsea is Bomb! The service is best ive found. We keep coming back to this whole in the wall because we cant stop thinking about how special it is to have found such an excellent spot with So Much Aloha! Everything we have ordered has been delicious and healthy. Plenty gluten free/dairy free options and even left with a sugar free/caffeine free juice/tea for my daughter who WACKED it! We highly recommend. Casual environment. Everyone is welcome

Always love the food and service! Mahalo Chelsea for your hard work and sincerity! First time trying the Gluten Free Orange Chicken. They use tapioca powder for the batter. It's Excellent! Beef Gyoza and Szechuan noodles is always my go-to favorite. Iced Teas are a Must-try! MAHALO!

This place is the epitome of a hidden gem, mom-and-pop spot! + Food: I came for the egg tarts, but they have a wide range of stuff on their menu: from main dishes, to desserts, to lemonades and milk tea. The egg tarts were great, 8/10: great fillings, but the bottom was a bit soft. They were freshly baked tho which I really appreciate!! + Space and service: Amazing service! She was super sweet and even gave me a lemonade for the wait. It's a small restaurant with some seatings. Not too hard to find, just follow the signs downstairs. Plenty of street parkings.

It is all about family at Sweet Corner Cafe. They are so nice there and the food is healthy and delicious.

Lunch in Aiea, Hawaii... If you're good at following GPS directions, you'll be able to find Sweet Corner Cafe. It's located deep in the industrial area of Halawa Valley - across from Menehune Water. Note: I've wanted to visit ever since I read Glen's Review of the Day (ROTD)! I parked on the steep driveway, right at the entrance to the building. After walking down a hallway, I found the cute café with the helpful signs. Chelsea was the very friendly, efficient server. She showed me the menu online, explained everything, and was a good conversationalist. I ordered the Matcha Lemonade which came in a BPA-free reusable bag. It was on the sweet side, so I added some water. I needed hydration anyway! My lunch was the Spring rolls, fried in avocado oil. They didn't seem greasy at all, but we're crunchy! The baby spinach was locally grown and fresh! The Portuguese Egg Tart had a flakey crust and dense filling. It was a nice dessert! As I was leaving, Chelsea gave me a complimentary bag of Hibiscus Lemonade. It was refreshing! Thank you!

This place is unbelievable. It is worth taking time to go out of the way to try it. Delicious food and amazing service. When you arrive go down the driveway and it is to your left. It is certainly a hole in the wall but not one to be missed!!! Get the Portuguese tarts!!

I got a sweet sausage w/ egg and 2 coffees. SO great! Chelsea was absolutely amazing - I came in with my 1 year old and she loved on him. This is a place I found on accident but will definitely be back. Thanks Chelsea!!

Sweet Corner Café was one of the highlights of my trip to Hawaii. I have celiac, and their gluten-free orange chicken was incredible! I haven't had orange chicken in over 10 years! The fried rice was also so amazing. Chelsea was so kind and helpful and made the experience even better!! I went twice during my trip and will absolutely be back next time I'm in Hawaii.

We love finding cute hidden gems around Hawaii and this is definitely one of them. This place is a literal hole-in-the-wall cafe in the back of Halawa serving some delicious comfort foods and drinks. Highly recommend trying the fried noodles but they have fresh poke bowls too which we will try the next time They are practically a one man show with Chelsea, the owner, running around with 3 chefs cooking in the back. So please be patient and kind because she was the sweetest person ever! I think out of everything we ate, we loved the house fried noodles the best.

Ambiance, well It's your typical old school coffee shop with their traditional menu items that they've served for years, nothing special about the place except the food. No frills. Hubby ordered one of the daily specials: pot roast. It's pretty good, tender, gravy is tasty, mac salad is decent, and if it's Saturday he always gets it. Very home style. Serving size is good. I got the mini oxtail soup, no green onions. Came with plenty of cilantro, four pieces of ox tail (one large, two medium, one small), pretty good for a mini, and a few peanuts. Oxtail pieces were almost fall off the bone but not quite. Flavor of the meat and broth was delicious. They have a container of ginger shoyu sauce on the table, but I'd you want only ginger you need to ask, which they bring quickly, but don't ask if you want it so if the server is busy you need to wait. They have three sizes - mini, regular, XL. XL comes with 4 scoops rice. The others come with 2. You can order extra broth for $2, and other options such as Saimin Ixtail, but I forgot what they all were. One thing I especially like about Kapiolani's oxtail soup is the ginger is grated, not minced like some other establishments. I enjoy oxtail soup at several places but this is my go to because of taste, grated ginger, different sizes based on my preference for the day, and it's in Aiea and conveniently located for me.

The burger itself tasted good as it was cooked with bread mixed in it to make it soft but once you started eating it, the burger fell apart. The bun was thin so it was messy as the sauce and burger started falling out and you needed a lot of napkins. Some people like it messy but it's not my thing. The onions and pickles were a perfect match. Too much American cheese. ________________________________________________ The Premium Purists: 5/10 I was looking forward to trying the burger at Forty Niners and hoped it would be an old fashioned/traditional style deluxe burger. It definitely had the look and right toppings but the patty was a little disappointing. After my first two bites the patties crumbled into pieces and the texture seemed off. It was too mushy and lacked good beef flavor. After learning they mix breadcrumbs in their burger patty, I think the patties I got were not mixed well and the ratio of beef and breadcrumb was off. That is probably why the texture was off, it lacked beef flavor, and crumbled. I would honestly give it another try and go with a single patty. ________________________________________________ The stack analyst: 7/10 Tried the double cheeseburger(dirty style) at 49ers and it was delicious. The fried pickles were the highlight for me. I love fried pickles and they worked really well on the burger. They also didn't hold back on the caramelized onions, which added flavor. The burger had four slices of cheese, so it was definitely rich. The patty had a nice sear on the outside, it did fall apart though. I would've liked a little more salt, but I know that comes down to preference. Bun was nothing special, just your standard setup, but it got the job done. I'd definitely come back and order it again! ________________________________________________ Double stack daddy: 6/10 The burger had a solid foundation, but it was missing flavor and could've used more seasoning. The biggest downside was the bun--it fell apart after the first bite, making the rest of the meal messy. Not a bad burger, but it didn't stand out, and there's definitely room for improvement. ________________________________________________ Bruddah big buns: 4/10 Da patty was mushy. ________________________________________________ Captain messy hands, keeper of the drip: 8/10

We ordered the cold ginger chicken, loco moco, pork chop with gravy, and sesame balls. I have to say, I really miss the cold boneless ginger chicken the way it used to be made. It was one of my favorite dishes here. Unfortunately, the food just didn't have the flavor I was hoping for. The pork chop in particular tasted a little off to me, and instead of the Chinese-inspired flavors I remembered, the dishes felt more like local comfort food with a bit of Chinese flair. The overall experience also felt a little lacking in warmth and friendliness. I know many restaurants are facing challenging times, and it's never my intention to leave a low review. I genuinely want local businesses to succeed. But one thing I've learned throughout my food journey is that when food is made with love, you can taste it. It's more than just the ingredients--it's the care, pride, and aloha that come with it. And when that feeling is missing, you notice it too. This is simply my honest experience. No hate, just Queenie keeping it real. I'm hoping this was just an off day, and I truly wish them the best moving forward.
