I was hanging out in this area before meeting friends for dinner and decided to get a few errands done. I decided to stop into this Starbucks as I'd never actually been inside. I'm not about to describe a Starbucks to you. If you don't know, you're probably not meant to be here. This Starbucks is in a freestanding building adjacent to 71st and Binford. It has the usual features of a Starbucks including a drive-thru, bakery, breakfast, lunch, and lots of room to sit down and get some work done. I wheeled over to Starbucks as my car was parked closer to the ice cream shop. First rule of life - always park closer to the ice cream. I noticed a new curb cut toward the north side of the building, however, I also noted that it's abysmally done. There's a serious lip at the edge of it - so defined that I didn't trust myself to be able to get over it. I found myself thinking "If you're going to do a crappy job on your curb cut, why even go to the effort?" Fortunately, there was an older curb cut around on the side of the building. It was actually a little broken up, however, I could make it work. However, I refuse to consider this entry accessible and noted that on Yelp. As a wheelchair user, it simply doesn't pass the test. You go inside and you have the order counter along with a dining area. There are unisex bathrooms - both are accessible. I went up to order and the employees were super friendly. I ordered one of their new energy drinks, the melon burst, and one of the baristas made a recommendation related to it. I went with it. While the recommendation was appreciated, I have this general belief that if you recommend something that's going to cost the customer extra you actually tell them. I was a little irritated the drink was $1 more than the listed price. I definitely would not have ordered it for the extra price and certainly won't again. Overall, the drink was fine. I did note that I prefer the Tropical Citrus Energy Drink, however, it was good enough. I considered dropping two stars considering my accessibility concerns and the unexpected $1 add-on. However, I've decided to stick with one-star off. The drink was good, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the baristas are friendly, and the restrooms are well done. There's lots to recommend here, however, the curb cuts/ramps need improvement and baristas really need to mention cost when making a recommendation. So, 4 stars it is. read more

Went through drive thru typical star bucks line but moved fairly quick. I ordered a coffee Frappuccino. Now thts not to hve whipped cream on it...but dang it they did it!!!! Let me say... I do love this Starbucks! I usually stop at this one because it's on the way to where I go record for a podcast.. and when I say the staff is always smiling & friendly! I appreciate you guys excellent customer service! Now the last few times I've been here the same guy has made my drink every time and gets it right! I always ask the barista to make my drink with love! The last time he even tried to create a little heart with the whip cream! Ha! I love it! Let me also mention this location is extremely clean. So I came to the Starbucks on binford. I wasn't sure what I wanted to get so I asked the barista. He was so funny and I really appreciated that since it's so early in the morning. So I asked had he tried the Oleato and asked if it was good. He hesitated and was like yes. I said you don't sound sure about it and we laughed. Then a lady came on and said she got it and actually loved it. So I said let me try it then. I got to the window and she said it was on her so I can try it. I thought that was such a sweet juster. I cost nothing to be nice and i really appreciated that. This drink is so delicious it's different but worth a try. It is infused with olive oil. I will get this drink again if you like olive oil and coffee you will like it. The drink has a sort of buttery texture. read more

This is actually one of the better Starbucks in Indianapolis to be honest (which is unfortunate). Immediately, I was greeted by very pleasant barista's that gave good Customer Service. I've been coming to this location since it first opened, and for some reason, up until now, it never occurred to me that I haven't even written a review yet. The staff here is absolutely phenomenal. I've come here during good times and bad; so many different life stages, and I've always left feeling much better. This location is seriously a mood boost and the staff deserves all the recognition. They always remember me, which is huge and says a lot about the amazing folks who work here. My drinks are always correctly made, delicious, and handed to me with a smile. Like any Starbucks, the drive-thru can easily become congested at times, but they handle the process with a positive attitude and the line stays moving. It's topped with cranberry-herb stuffing and turkey gravy then served warm on toasted ciabatta bread. It's a handheld turkey dinner.***** Generous is a subjective term. The panini was slim..it actually looked as though there wasn't anything inside. The stuffing must've soaked up all the gravy creating a thick paste that birthed a mushy texture. Thankfully the bread was toasted; it provided some crunch. This experience has me doubtful on trying something new at Starbucks. I frequent this Starbucks on a daily basis, and it is the best Starbucks in town. Everyone is very friendly and goes out of their way to share a conversation with their customers. I'm always impressed when I pull up to the drive-thru speaker, and they will call me by name and ask how I am doing. I recommend this to anyone who values great service and a smile. read more

I decided to not make my usual fast rush home after running the rat race all day and take a moment to remember why I work like a demon. $6.00 craft IPA with an espresso shot on top along with $6.00 truffle mac and cheese is where I decided to throw my hard earned dollars at. Keep in mind the evening menu is called small plates so do not expect a big heaping portion of food nor a trough of spirits but for the evening kick back it's just the right amount of everything. The baristas usually serve the truffle mac n cheese on a real plate with real silverware (not the cheap plasticity things) so do not let my photo fool you. I actually wanted to take mine to go and not eat it all in a sitting. This was a hard feat because the mac is seriously good coming from a coffeehouse!! I mean wow! And I was thinking I would not get my mac b cheese fix because the place I wanted to go is closed on Tuesdays. The mac n cheese has a nice lasting taste that keeps you craving another forkful that you have to wonder how did Starbucks pull this off and where can you get the recipe from. It is cheesy and moist, not dried out and not lacking flavor with its complex flavor profile. I admit for $6.00 its expensive but the taste had me hooked and throwing my dollars at it like a well deserving....um yeah probably should not say who or what lol!! Somehow the Espresso Cloud IPA paired perfectly although they suggest a wine with it. I normally would never think beer and mac n cheese could pair so well. The Espresso Cloud IPA has a nice smooth taste that keeps it from tasting like a regular boring IPA like some I have came across as of late. The smoothness also mellows on the finish to where you may be tempted to have one more before leaving. For an evening kick back and maybe even a get to know you date, Starbucks Evening menu definitely will have you seeing stars of delight. read more

This location is across the street from my office so it's my go-to Starbucks. I usually order online and just run in to pick up but the weekday morning staff are always friendly. They'll shout out a "thank you," "have a nice day," or even a compliment as you grab your beverage. I've stopped here many times and they almost always get the drink right and if they don't they won't hesitate to remake it or add what was missed. I wish the coffee wasn't so expensive but that's an issue with Starbucks in general, not this location specifically. read more

Located in the Greenwood Park Mall, this Starbucks doesn't have much room to sit and relax, and it's typically pretty busy. It's also one of the messiest Sbux locations behind the counter that I've ever seen. Not dirty.. just messy. That being said, everything I've gotten here has been comparable to other locations. Just plan on the place being messy, waiting in line for a couple of minutes, and not sitting around on your iPad relaxing. read more

Starbucks locations tend to blend together, unless they are blessed with newer renovations, charismatic staff, or Clover (or other fancy coffee programs). This location is my "grab-a-latte before braving I-69" Starbucks; I think a lot of people have the same perception, as it is always super busy with commuters. Beyond that, there isn't much that differentiates it from other typical locations. The drive-thru can easily back up during prime times, but I've never had my decaf nonfat latte messed up. The major con for this location is trying to access it when driving to it from any direction but north. I usually have to criss-cross across parking lots to get close. read more

Very very unprofessional the only Starbucks that I know that want to argue with customers and then ask me after I stood there for twenty minutes are you waiting for something, yes my drink that was made messy with coffee dripping down the side. Then I asked for a kids hot chocolate but because you are incompetent and can't read you made a grande hot chocolate for a little kid. When it request a refund you tell me I need to get at the back of the line of 4 people well not today I won't. This Starbucks is, unfortunately, on my way to work ... sigh. There usually is a line for the drive-thru; I almost always park and go inside. It's much quicker than waiting in line. Good solid service; I rarely have issues other than sometimes they put the sprinkles on my skinny cinnamon dolce latte and sometimes they don't. Another reason to go inside ... I used to study here when I was in grad school. It's small but you can usually find a table. read more

Frequent here. There is usually a line in the drive thru and subsequent wait. Today was a it long though I was the only car in line. Customer service was poor today as well. When I did get my non specialized cold beverage the cashier did not look at me and leaned it our the window half tilted. This rubbed me the wrong way. Service is normally better. Service has taken a backseat, and standards have fallen. This once shining example of Starbucks franchise consistency has been pulled down by new hires who are difficult to understand (in person as well as on the intercom), and who appear to give no effort to customer service. I can tolerate a decent amount of shenanigans but my experience this morning was so abysmal that I have to cry foul. Not only was the window attendant impossible to understand because of a lack of enunciation but he "no look" passed me my coffee and spilled it on my hand. My review is not for the staff but rather the clientele and owners. Why do people always use the handicap parking spots to pick up mobile orders? Most stores only have 1 mobile parking spot if any at all. Are people so narcissistic that basic laws and human decency are cast aside for a cup of gourmet coffee? Maybe the management can start enforcing the parking or add more mobile spots. I have found this to be true at every Starbucks I have visited in 6 different states. read more
