It's scorching hot outside, so iced is the way to go. I got medium instead of large because sometimes large is just too much. My drink was ready quickly. At first, I was a little disappointed with the presentation because it didn't look like the photo in the app. I probably should have added whipped cream, but once I took my first sip, I was completely satisfied. It was delicious, and I'm happy with my choice. I like that Biggby has a rewards program. I also receive Biggby coupons in the mail pretty often, which is another nice perk. You went to the coffee shop FOR the coffee shop. It was an event. Sometimes, literally. Shops would host live music, poetry readings, and other community activities. (Gosh, I really love being a Gen-X'er and living during those cultural times!) There is something special about spending quality time with a good friend. Meeting with my friend was good for my soul. Whether it's an old friend you've known your entire life, or a new friend you didn't expect to connect with so well, a hot cup of coffee (or a nice, dry red wine) can help facilitate these soul nourishing conversations.

The location close to me opened not too long ago, so I decided to go see what the hype is about. I did a little research to figure out what the most popular drinks are - they don't just have coffee! There are smoothies, hot chocolate, tea and lemonade on the menu too and you can add popping boba or "dirty" up your drinks similar to Swig by adding cream. Locations are drive thu only with a walk up window. The drive thru line was long, but I placed a mobile order and the instructions said to pick up at the window. Very easy process! They were packed with care and I appreciate the no spill sticker over the drink holes. I got the Golden Eagle iced and it was my favorite of the three. It was a sweet coffee but not so overly sweet that you couldn't taste the espresso. The Annihilator was less sweet and I ordered that one hot and saved it for the next day. It has white chocolate mocha and I enjoyed it as well! Kids will like the lemonade. It was super sweet - maybe a little too sugary for me but it was a very pretty drink and I liked you could add boba, however they didn't give me a boba straw so I was glad I had my own.
