The entire staff at this particular Starbucks was exceptional. It felt like I had traveled back in time, to a place where customer service was still important. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and I didn't even have to listen to them having a conversation about what they did last night, or listen to them complain about their lives. They were there working and giving us excellent service, which is harder to come by these days. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to hit this location up if you're passing through the area. The place was pretty decent in the inside. but accept for 1 thing.. I asked the employee to put 2% milk in my drink because I can't have any other type of milk. The drink that I gotten was a strawberry Frappuccino. When I gotten to the window, I asked "did you put 2% milk in the drink?" And the employee said "no, I forgot im so sorry!" Then she went to remake the drink again. the 2nd time I got the drink my stomach started to hurt and the taste was really different so I felt something off about it.. but all of the other times other employees put 2% milk in the drink that I wanted and it tasted different then what I just tasted. But the experience was great overall! just that one detail highly recommended. read more

I just want to comment that I've been to many Starbucks in many states and country but I feel this Starbucks is the worst service. I've been to Starbucks where they are so busy that the line is out the door and I still got better service than here. There were 5 employees behind the counter, 4 girls and one guy, one of the girls and the guy was working on an order. The other girls did not come up to take my order even though they saw me walk up to the register and stood there for a while. Finally, the guy finished his order and took my order. Then the employee who helped make my drink was an older lady who was very friendly. I just feel that the customer service at this Starbucks is the worst I've experienced. If it was not for the guy and the older lady, I would have given this place a one star. read more

Stood at the pick up counter for 30 minutes for a mobile pickup order, not once did a single employee even look in my direction, let alone ask why I was standing there. My coffee was sitting behind glass or else I would've just picked it up myself and left. At this point it would've been appropriate to have raised my voice, but I wanted to see how long the negligence would actually last. Horrible experience. I'll make this short since, you know, this is a Starbucks. The Jackson location of Starbucks is my go-to spot on trips between Nashville and Memphis. If I have any time to burn, this is the place I usually do it in. What I like about this location most is that they have the Clover machine and can brew some of the more creative blends. Pros: They have the clover which means I get some creative choices in coffee on my trips to and from Memphis. Cons: This is in the end of a small strip mall center and the parking situation can get a little crazy. Based on how busy it is in there, they should have chosen a larger location. Ingress and Egress can also be a bit difficult but Starbucks couldn't have done anything to improve that as the tenant. Overall: It's a Starbucks and feels like one. This one is a bit cramped considering how busy it always is but they offer great service, coffee selection, and clean restrooms for your trips on I-40! read more

Good coffee. Pretty darn good baristas. Even still, I have no clue why this location is in a strip mall, with NO DRIVE THROUGH ACCESS. This often makes for long lines and crowded tables inside. Moreover, this is the only Starbucks in Jackson. It is also located across from Walmart. Surely Starbucks caters to a different demographic than the "people of Walmart." In conclusion, I go anyway because its Starbucks and our options are limited here in Jack-tastic. Bad corporate planning in an otherwise good coffee joint. Note: This Jackson location has been completely remodeled in 2013. Party bonus: this location has a PREMIUM ESPRESSO COUNTER. As soon as I went to order the lady told me that she couldn't make iced drinks and Frappuccinos. That was the only two drinks that I get from Starbucks so I couldn't get anything and that was really annoying. I also want to know why she couldn't prepare those drinks. Great location just off the highway and near the mall; however, there is very limited parking and it's usually overcrowded since it's the only one in town besides the one inside Target. Also, out of 2 venti cups this past week, both were barely more than half full (just above the level of the sleeve). Not cool for a $5 cup of coffee. I do indulge in a Caramel Machiato from time to time but find the prices offensive. When did we all begin to think $4 for a coffee was acceptable?
