I placed an order yesterday and was very disappointed with the quality and accuracy of the items I received. I ordered the Chickpeas Salad and Baba Ghanoush, but neither matched the menu descriptions: * Chickpeas Salad - Instead of the listed ingredients (red pepper, parsley, onions, beans, lemon juice, olive oil), I received only chickpeas, and they were soaked in what tasted like barbecue sauce. There was no olive oil or fresh salad components as described. * Baba Ghanoush - The dish was missing key ingredients like tomatoes and overall did not resemble the expected preparation. It consisted mostly of large chunks of eggplant, some of which were hard, with very little balance or proper seasoning. Stopped in as our 'regular' isn't open Sundays. We're not overly familiar with middle Eastern food, so got the mixed platte ($17)r. Quite good. service was friendly and efficient. Ambiance? It's just a small shop with maybe 10 tables. Don't let that stop you - we'l expand our choices as we pass through Jackson several times a year. read more

Sharma House is absolutely delicious! Service was great too. They're kind, attentive, and prompt in their service. Also, I appreciated that they're open for dine-in and take out. Uber Eats was hot for the take-out, and dine-in was not busy. It's worth dining in! If you want halal, they're also halal. Totally worth the try. We loved it! read more

WOW! This is hands down the best mediterranean food in the area! All the entrees and appetizers were fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. We started with the fantastic falafel- crispy on the outside and served with yummy garlic sauce; lentil soup; mixed grill platter with beef, chicken and gyro meat and salad with a delicious parsley dressing- not your typical dressing. The only reason I hesitate to give this place 5 stars is because of how the workers were being treated. The service was incredible and everyone who helped in the process, from taking orders to checkout, were very helpful and friendly. The food was great too. However I couldn't help but notice what seemed to be a manager consistently lashing out at the employees. I'm not a regular customer, as I was only stopping by to eat something on a road trip to Texas, but if this is a common occurrence I would advise to stay away until the management learns how to treat their workers. All of the staff appeared college age. They are definitely overloaded with classwork and trying to balance life and school. Have empathy and treat people with kindness. read more

I ate their for the first time yesterday with two friends who have been there many times. I loved the food and the atmosphere!

Lovely place for a great simple dinner. The young people working were very helpful describing the menu and the food was delicious. My husband had the chicken shawarma wrap and loved it. I had the falafel wrap with fries and enjoyed it too. Couldn't understand why it wasn't busy on an early Sunday afternoon. Much better than waiting in line at Olive Garden or Red Lobster. We were staying at a nearby motel and were looking for a close place to eat. After a day of driving and with the threat of severe weather we wanted something convenient. This restaurant was perfect. It is very casual and fit our needs perfectly. The staff was great and food was absolutely delicious. Some of the items we haven't had before and we enjoyed trying new things. Sorry, I can't remember some of the names. I do remember the falafel though and it was very good. It was a good size serving and the leftovers tasted great even after some time in the motel fridge. read more

I enjoyed my Shawarma house salad. The chicken was very good. Not dry at all. The Kibbeh was spiced and delicious. I was unable to have the Fresh Knafeh this go around, but if you can catch it when it's in stock- order it- it's a fantastic dessert. Highly recommend the knafeh. The hubs had the Gyro combo. A pleasant surprise! The falafel was crisp and delicious. The mixed shawarma plate portions were generous. The baklava and Turkish coffee were a great ending to the meal. My only criticism is the salad, which came with the shawarma plate, was a little lackluster by comparison to the rest of the meal. We visited this place on Saturday and Sunday. Due to my nephew that lives in Nashville. He said he seen it on Tic Tok, when I tell you I was greatly surprised.
