I am pulling out of the drive now. We went through the drive through since you can't go in to order. I ordered my normal. Because the line was backed up so long behind us, we pulled away before I had a chance to even taste it. It was wrong. I went up to the door and knocked for ... a bit ... before they saw me. (I didn't want to wait another 10 minutes in the drive up line.) When a girl came to the door, I explained, said I was sorry to be a bother, waited while they made my new coffee, said "thank you so much" afterwards, and went to the vehicle. Then I got a huge surprise when my new coffee spilled all over me because the lid wasn't on. Don't know if it was because they were annoyed by me or what. But now my shoes, jeans, and sweatshirt are all coffee-covered. Not happy at all. Guess I shouldn't be surprised when the first reviews that come up are all 1-star. read more

I felt like I got the B team today at Starbucks. I asked for a Venti pikes place with heavy whipping cream steamed in .?Simple. It has always been $2.84 but today they wanted to charge me $3.48. When I questioned why they said because it's steamed in and it's called something different. I have been getting this for years , at different locations and different states. Good Starbucks to stop at if you're in need of a break from driving. it's right off the highway and has a spacious inside area along with outdoor patio complete with tables and umbrellas so you can still get your wi fi on. Parking is ample although you end up circling the building twice going through the drive-thru. Incredibly slow service for a Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. I did the drive-through and it was probably about five cars deep. The guy was very helpful at the drive through ordering microphone. This is by far the WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. I have traveled across this country and Frontage Road takes the cake on the worst Baristas ever. Even Perris, California is a better Starbucks than this one!!!! They don't care about you or the money you spend daily. They don't care to learn how to properly make drinks or warm food. Management is an absolute joke. They blame their employees but refuse to replace drinks or refund drinks that are constantly made incorrectly. I mean, how hard is it really to make a cup of coffee, especially when it is your job. The turn over rate is absolutely incredible. The management must be just as bad to employees as they are to customers because they can't hold on to people to save their lives. Starbucks should just shut this one down! read more

Just off I-65 and State Road 26, this Starbucks is seconds off the ramp making it a convenient stop for road warriors. This location is a stand-alone, so it does have a drive-thru. If heading north, the next closest Starbucks with easy access off of the interstate is at the Merrillville exit, over an hour away. If headed towards Indianapolis, there is a Starbucks in Lebanon only 30 minutes south. I gave this location 2-stars because they never seem to make a misto correctly. read more

Clueless baristas. I may have come in on an off day, but it seemed their heads were elsewhere. Ordered a coffee with room for milk, got it and it was totally full. No biggie, just dump a little out. Got to the condiment station, only milk that was not empty was the half and half. The raw sugar was totally out and the others were pretty low. Just a messy area in general. It wasn't too busy, and besides, there were probably 5-6 kids behind the counter. No reason for this location to be in such disarray. read more

This location was packed on a late Saturday morning. I was surrounded by a gaggle of Purdue sorority girls who decided to indiscrimately stand in "line", and debate whether to eat or not to eat, and delay everyone behind them. I actually overheard one argue with her friend over whether consuming a muffin would defeat her goal of achieving a "thigh gap". I can't blame Starbucks for the crowd it attracts, but I wish the baristas would have encouraged these ladies to move along. Extra points for this location carrying the gingerbread latte, which is nowhere to be found in Indianapolis (pout). The baristas were nice, but seemed a bit frazzled. My somewhat-difficult drink order was made correctly. This location seemed very popular, being right off I-65; I'd visit again, if in the area or traveling via I-65...just not during its more busy hours. read more

Stopped by here on one of the many infamous trips between Ohio and Illinois. I was surprised to see a full parking lot when I pulled up to this location. I guess Lafayette Starbucks are bumping. Standard Starbucks experience however the parking lot and driveway situation for this particular one were terrible! There were turn lanes, lights, roundabouts every which way. Stopped here on the way up to Chicago. Came during the morning time. It wasn't too busy but lots of people coming and going in general. I was interested in trying something out of my comfort zone. I ordered a cold brew vanilla coffee. It was supposed to be lightly sweetened but I couldn't tell. I added sugar packets on my own and it still tasted too bitter for me. I went up to them and asked if I could order my usual, as I wasn't fond of the new one. Without hesitation, they took care of me and didn't charge me for a second drink order. Worst customer service ever. Did a mobile order and pay. Went to pick it up and they kept mispronouncing my name. I corrected them several times (wanted to make sure I was getting the right order) and finally the woman looked at the label carefully and said, "oh you're right." :/ it looked like my whole order wasn't there so I asked to make sure. I was assured it was all there. When I got to the car I checked the bag and sure enough, only half my order was in it. Went back in. Said my breakfast sandwiches were missing. Was met with a blank stare and another employee shouted that "it was coming!" She brought the sandwiches over and set them down. I grabbed the bag and walked out quickly because I was late at that point (did mobile order so I wouldn't have to wait as I was short on time). As I was walking out one of the women shouted very sarcastically "Have a grrrrreaaaaaat daaaay!" I said nothing and left. Got to the car, checked the bag I had just gone back for and it was incorrect. Pissed. Went back in and told them and I was met with excuses. No apology or offer for compensation or anything. I waited while she remade my sandwiches and still not a word to me by way of apology. Finally they were done. The woman brought them over, gave me yet another excuse/explanation and finally said, "sorry about that." Inexcusable on several levels. read more

Drinks here are usually top-notch. I've ordered the same specialty drink for years, and the ones here taste the same as everywhere else. Baristas are nice and polite, and are usually talkative and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. However, I was doing homework at this Starbucks on 2-8-12 and I could hardly concentrate because the baristas were so busy complaining about washing the dishes and taking out the garbage. I know that public places will be a little loud, but customers shouldn't hear employees complaining loudly about doing the job they are paid to do. read more

Every time I come to this Starbucks, there is something that goes wrong! This time, we waited over a half an hour in drive thru for a hot tea and a frap! They never asked for our order so we had to drive up to window. When we got to the window we saw the employees inside laughing, hugging and carrying on (doing everything other than their job). After finally getting the drinks, we had to send back both drinks for remake. The hot tea had tons of loose leaf tea in it which is weird considering the chai is in teabags and they forgot to put coffee in the frap. We will not return to this location. read more

I stop at this Starbucks whenever I am coming back from Chicago. It is a fresh market store and It is a clean, well run establishment. The barista at the front counter was a tad unfriendly, but everyone else was very nice. Drinks came out fast and tasted great. I work for Starbucks and witnessed one of the partners (what Starbucks employees are called) using beverage repeatable routine (correct way of making drinks). As a Starbucks employee myself, I definitely recommend you visit this Starbucks! They will make your drinks right! read more

Not sure if all Starbucks do this, but I feel that if you get out of the car, and there is no line inside, that you should get served before the line of cars in the drive thru. Clean, and convenient to the highway, which is why I frequently stop here, but it's irritating to wait when there is no body in the store. read more
