The place was crowded in the morning but they had enough staff take care of people. I got my cortado in like 2 minutes despite the amount of people in line. They work fast. The cortado I got was okay. It's not something I'd drive to Leesburg for. My friend said the matcha latte is good. The breakfast other people were having looked great. Parking wasn't easy. I had to get past all the new apartment buildings and park at Market Station and walked a block. The bouquet of flowers here look very unique.

But Libar, the shift manager at Paris Baguette, turned it into one of the kindest customer service experiences I've had. Despite already being in full shutdown mode, Libar and her team welcomed me warmly, restarted everything for a sandwich and cappuccino, and treated me with genuine kindness after a very stressful visit next door at the emergency vet. Even more remarkable, when I tried to leave a tip for going so far above and beyond, Libar graciously refused with, "I love my job." That kind of compassion can't be trained--it's who she is. Libar (and clearly her team) turned a rough night around, and Paris Baguette is lucky to have her.

Matcha Lab Experience…read more After having been to Seven TeaHouse several times, we wanted to try one of their tasting experiences - the Matcha Lab! Our host, Cody, was incredible and super knowledgeable about all things tea. He guided us through everything from the origins of matcha to how to make it ourselves at home. It was especially helpful to watch him make the drinks and see the proper technique for whisking matcha and what temperature water we should be using when making our own, etc. For the tasting itself, he made us 4 different matcha drinks - all of which were soo good!! It changed my perception on what good matcha drinks can taste like and I think has increased my standards (for better or for worse lol). If you love matcha, interested in learning more about it and want to try some different matcha drinks not offered anywhere else, I highly highly recommend the Matcha Lab.
