Fantastic, the variety, the free samples, the friendly and relaxed staff who make the teas. Just everything done right. Totally worth the drive to Leesburg for this. I will come back again. Tasting menu appointments available online. Coming back here is a no brainer.

I came here twice for their matcha lab. The first time with my boyfriend and it was so much fun that I wanted to show my friend and his family. I love that they always put out new events and are looking to collab with local spots in the area--it is great that they provide a space and community with so many local businesses. The matcha lab was so much fun. The first time, Cody introduced a sparkling lime matcha (which I find is a favorite amongst those who don't love sweets and enjoy refreshing light drinks), then the matcha guava, and then a rose oolong with matcha cold foam. The rose oolong with matcha cold foam was my favorite due to the fragrant sweetness from the rose. The matcha guava was also pretty good from a taste standpoint point but the syrup really needs to be stirred a lot in order to mix. The second time, I did the same menu except instead of a matcha guava latte, I got to try the osmanthus flower matcha latte and it is now my new favorite! The osmanthus one was fruity floral and light which I think goes well with the delicate nature of matcha. The second time, they ran out of the cold foam for the lime matcha so they had to improvise with a grape cold foam, which was alright.

ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY: My friends and I had such an amazing experience at this tea house! We booked a tea tasting, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We were served over 30 servings of tea, which made it feel like such a unique and immersive experience. Cody, our tea expert, truly made the visit unforgettable. He walked us through the history behind the teas and explained everything in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. You can tell he's incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and a bit goofy as well. For the price, this experience is honestly INCREDIBLE. It felt so special and thoughtfully put together, and we left feeling very lucky to have been able to do something like this. The value is more than reasonable for everything you get. Place is also very cute and clean. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something different, fun, and memorable. We'll definitely be back!

We booked the matcha lab experience at Seven TeaHouse. The owner provided an informative description about matcha and its history as well as how to make the drink. We then got to taste 2 types of matcha powders. After that, he created a few matcha drinks for us to try. It was a great learning experience while tasting premium matcha. We tried some samples of their other award-winning teas afterwards and had to buy a couple because they were so good!

We came here with a couple friends to do the matcha tasting and it was an AMAZING experience. We were able to try 4 different drinks, sample the different pure matcha powders, and also try some other samples of teas they offer in the store. Cody, who was our tea/matcha sommelier was so knowledgeable and engaging. He not only gave us the history of matcha and how to properly prepare it, but he also provided great advice on what to look out for when buying these from other stores. All the drinks were incredibly delicious and the store itself was very quiet and relaxing! We would definitely come here again to do the tea tasting experience!

Would give this hidden gem more than 5 stars if I could. Absolutely worth the long drive for me and possibly one of the best matcha drinks I've had in the NOVA/DMV area- it's not all sugary syrup and you actually taste the matcha. Clean, inviting interior with incredibly friendly staff. You can taste the quality and care put into their teas. The second I tried my Pink Rose Lychee Matcha, I knew I had to buy some tea bags to try. Got a bunch to try- some favorites and some outside my comfort zone. Great place for tea exploration, grabbing drinks, and meeting others who love tea as well! I plan to come back for their popular Matcha Lab!

BLUF: A hot little trendy joint that's certainly packed on the weekends. A good value? Not so much. Service was pleasant enough, but not memorably welcoming nor over & above. Tea? Worth the hype? Not for this first impression visit. $8 for a tea latte is a lot for what seemed like an 8-10 oz cup. Their marketing is effective, because their drinks did not look like the beautiful photos on their website. You might as well steep at home or go to your nearby fav familiar coffee or tea shop. My choice tasted good, but not $8 good. It was not overly sweet which was a plus, but outstanding in flavor because you believe you're getting ultra premium quality tea? Nope. I think I would have been happier and more satisfied by a boba tea concoction or my favorite tea at home. It's a small shop & really squishy and loud when it's packed. I nearly clocked a person just trying to turn around and exit. They have cute, expensive tea sets on the walls, but the overall atmosphere to me felt rather like a fast-foody sterile room lit by florescent lights. Just kinda harsh on the eyes and ears and not as warm, comforting, soothing as I'd hoped. Let's just say that to appreciate great food and/or beverage, either should evoke some really positive moods. I didn't feel that here with this venue, staff, nor the tea. My first sip didn't bring an "Oooooh! This is really yummy." Nor did the second or subsequent sips. It was just ok. Worth the drive? If you're really curious & susceptible to good marketing & influencers, then yes. If you're expecting unique palate pleasing wonder and don't want to spend $8 on tea leaves (or powder) & water, this is definitely not the place I'd recommend. I appreciate good quality tea and the environment as a package. I want to be hit by and leave with unmistakeably wonderful flavor and experience. It's rare to find this, but it exists. It just wasn't my experience here.

We went for the tea tasting experience, and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and informative. I really got to understand and experience all the different tea types. We also got to sample a lot of the different offerings they have as well which was very helpful. Overall 10/10 I would come back here to order their high quality tea or tea equipment!

We celebrated my friends birthday by doing the tea omakase. And WOW the whole experience was eye-opening and fascinating as I learned about the origins of the 6 types of tea and how cheap tea is actually just gross and filled w fragrant oils. Trying all the teas here were amazing and each one was so unique and different. 10/10! Totally recommend :)

My favorite teahouse! Consistently good and refreshing, always coming back to buy more tea and trying their different drinks! Also, they sell one of the best matchas in NOVA in my opinion, and I've tried many. People may say their tea is pricey, but certainly well worth it (as they are award winning), and supporting local is always a win. Their staff is always very nice and knowledgeable about their teas. And if you want to try their teas before purchasing, they usually have samples out for anyone to try! Their tea tasting experience (hosted for a foodie collab) is really neat - you get to really dive into the history and deets of each tea you try, abr love how interactive and intimate the experience is.

The tea and service was good. I also did the tea tasting. The tea tasting should have come with a free cup of tea or a discount off the purchase of teas.

My first visit was a month ago and the young lady at the counter was so kind and welcoming. She provided my daughter and I with so much info about the teas offered. Her recommendation was the holiday surprise gift set and I literally came back weeks later to get it and she was there to greet me with her smiling face. The same day I tried the pineapple hibiscus herbal blend cold tea...It was refreshing and delicious and now I'm planning my next visit. I was also pleased to know that they offer tea tastings. Love the aesthetic, the vibe is warm and welcoming and they have pastries! You owe it to yourself to try this super cute tea house

If you like tea at all, or want to like tea, you need to check this place out. I've been a few times to get drinks, but this weekend my friend and I did a tea tasting. It was a great experience. You book the tea tasting online, and I'd recommend looking into it early since they only have 4 people do a tasting at a time. Cody was the one guiding us through the tasting, and he did a great job. The tea tasting was scheduled for an hour, but we were there closer to an hour and a half. We got to try 5 main teas, and he gave us a breakdown about each tea. He also had us try other teas, like some tea lattes. You also get to take a tea to go. I took the red date pu'erh to go, because it is one of the best teas that I've tried. This place is great if you want a tea tasting, or just a cup of tea.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels genuinely welcoming -- warm lighting, a relaxed vibe, and staff who actually seem happy to be there. The coffee is exceptional. My go-to is their latte, which is consistently smooth and perfectly balanced -- never bitter, never over-roasted. It's clear they take real care in sourcing and preparation. The espresso has great depth and the milk is steamed just right every single time. The space itself is cozy but not cramped, making it ideal whether you're catching up with a friend or settling in with your laptop for a few hours. The pastries are a lovely bonus -- fresh and worth every bite. Leesburg has no shortage of coffee options, but Second Nature stands apart. It feels like a neighborhood gem that actually cares about its community and its craft. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality cup and a genuinely good experience.

The location is convenient and I appreciated the small but efficient parking lot they had. The shop almost looks like an Airbnb by a beach or someone's house. I like it and thought the aesthetics were cool. I only ordered a mobile London fog and was impressed. Not sweet at all but had a strong yet tasty tea flavor. Service is superb. Would love to visit again.
