I have to give this Starbucks a one star for extremely poor service an inconsistency. Today was my final try here. Ordered a latte and iced coffee with cream. Both were delivered white(virtually no coffee and all cream) got pushback when trying to get the window barista guy to remake them saying "no the breva just makes them that color"after explaining that I have made this order dozens of times with better results he says well I guess we can add a shot, i explained I wanted them completely remade he begruginly closed the window as to remake them. When he returned it was obvious they had merely poured some out and added more coffee rather than remaking them. Poor service for the most expensive coffee on the planet. Will not return read more

Way to much ice in drink, and cashier couldn't understand the additional .10 I wanted to give him for my change to be an even $1. Wasn't helpful at all. Eventually he got the manager who was on break to open the register. Who wants .90 in change. read more

Store was closed on First day of school for "maintenance" had no sign on drive thru, mobile app said they were open!! Huge FAIL Starbucks!!

Really bad service. No particular place for where the line starts. So someone cut right in front of me and the cashier didn't even blink. He also took his time in taking orders. The drive thru had a line wrapped around the building so I went inside only to find 10 mobile order people waiting on their drinks. I wound up leaving without a drink. read more

Overall the quality of the coffee products are your standard Starbucks, but what makes this place stand apart is its atmosphere... Every time I go here the place is dirty. There has been trash left on the tables and across the floor. I've had to wipe down my own chair and table before. Even the food display is unappetizing. Incredibly slow. Every time I come to this location it is a 20+ minute ordeal. I visit all of the other Starbucks locations in the area (Harbison, Gervais, inside Target) on a regular basis, and this one pales in comparison when it comes to speed of service. It seems like an obvious management issue to me. There are always multiple baristas taking orders between the drive-thru and registers, but generally only one barista actually making the drinks. Other reviewers have indicated that the drive-thru takes precedence at this location, but I just spent 30 minutes going through the drive-thru. That's unacceptable! I've heard there is possibly a new location going in at Saluda Pointe off 378 by I-20. I sure hope that's true because it will prevent me from having to come back to this location ever again. read more

Incredibly inefficient. Currently there are 6 employees, but only one making drinks. They can touch each other, but stop what they're doing to push the button on their headset. Contrary to other reviews, drive thru takes precedent over in store customers, which is contrary to business sense, as the extra add on, high margin items (mugs, coffee, cd's) are all inside...but I come back because its pumpkin spice season. read more

I come about 2-4 times a week for a tea before work. EVERY time there is an issue. The people that work there are rude, slow and inconsiderate. The wait in the drive through to get the drink is always long. When they do not hear you they snap through the speaker. One time they were out of the tea that I like and said to me "Do you really want me to go out to the truck and get it for you?". I will drive out of my way to another Starbucks before going to this one again. read more

I've been to this location twice in the last month, the first time to buy a gift card and the second to buy coffee. My coffee order took 30 minutes to receive and tasted like the equipment needed a good cleaning. Thank goodness a very nice customer allowed me to go ahead of him to purchase my gift card. I usually go to this Starbucks's drive thru on my way to work, but have been going elsewhere since they usually get my order wrong. I usually order my drink with soy milk (due to being lactose intolerant) and had one instance where whole milk was used (I tasted and later felt the effects of it) and another where my drink was basically water and espresso shots (had my co workers try it and they agreed it was ice and espresso shots, with nothing more). read more

Slowest Starbucks on the planet. It doesn't matter if their slow OR busy, they only have one person on the register (who always seems to be new), and one person making drinks. The person making drinks is always going as fast as they can but cannot possibly keep up because they have no help. Their is usually an employee complaining about something too every time I go their for some reason, must have terrible management. If you have the extra time drive to the Starbucks on 378 inside Target, even if it's further out of your way you'll probably still get your coffee sooner than if you went to this location. read more

This is my first yelp review. I have been to this Starbucks many times in hopes that they will eventually get it right. My coffee is good about 50% of the time. I've called to let them know that my coffee wasn't great and they said that their machine had been broken. You would think that they would let customers know that prior to spending over $5 for a coffee. Today was the last time I will go there. I ordered my coffee and when the girl at the drive thru hurriedly handed it to me, the lid popped off and hot coffee spilled all over my leg and my car. After all of that, my coffee tasted burnt! Possibly the worst Starbucks on the planet. The drive thru takes a minimum of 15 minutes- not being dramatic about that either. And don't think you will get your drink any sooner using the mobile app- I stood there for ten minutes, four ppl working, AND it was slow- finally after 10 min I had to point out to one of the employees I believed my label for my drink was just dangling from the machine- she responded "oh, looks like it, sorry about that" and continued to move at 3 mph!!!!!!! I'm from Atlanta and let me tell you what- I dread visiting back home bc every time I've visited here it's just as bad. And of course, drinks aren't up to par either. Whenever I've gone here the baristas are not very friendly, and they take unnecessary shortcuts on drinks. I could understand if it was during a rush time, but I've only ever gone during slow periods. Take your time and smile a little. read more

This Starbucks is the slowest I have ever been to. It takes 15+ minutes to get through a drive thru with three cars in it, so I don't bother going when the line is longer than that. I have sat in this drive thru for 30 minutes before. Some of the employees are really nice, while others are extremely rude. 95% of the time my not-very-complicated drink is correct, so at least there is that! They're often out of food items, and it's a little annoying that there is no awning over the ordering area or the pickup window. read more

I've visited hundreds of starbucks across the country and spent entirely too much money on their mochas and frappucinos. This starbucks repeatedly disappoints me. Staff is slooooow and the wait is ridiculous both in store and drive through. People aren't exceptionally friendly and never apologize for waits or even act like it's an issue. Unfortunately, it's the closest starbucks to me by miles and I am addicted to caffeine. I wish the management would take charge of the store and staff and bring it to Starbucks standards. Location is great. Right in the heart of Lexington business district. The service is so-so but the facilities are good. Plenty of tables and the place is kept clean. If you meet a latte, coffee, etc, this is your place. Especially after Jamestown coffee closed its doors. read more

Never enough staff to handle business. Long lines onside and at the drive through. They rarely get my oatmeal right and don't tell you if they are out of toppings. 16:12 in the drive thru for an Americano without the cream I asked for. They have a workflow management tool that shows them the status of all the cars in the drive-through... There's usually 1 green and 8 flashing red to let them know that they're way behind... But the people just don't work fast enough. This is by far THE slowest Starbucks I have ever been to and I am a major coffee drinker so I've been to quite a few. I've given it quite a few tries too, I know drive throughs can get backed up (but I still don't think it's right that I've waited 25 minutes before!!) so I've gone inside before and that's when I got real frustrated, there were plenty of staff in there standing around but only one poor guy was making drinks everyone else was arguing about their break times.
