Starbucks - I don't think I have ever been to a Starbucks this dirty! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Littleton, Colorado

I drink Starbucks when I don't have another choice for coffee. This area is devoid of any other coffee shops unfortunately. The coffee is nothing to be excited about, but I'm writing this review because I sat at a table and overheard a berating of a new employee multiple times. The poor woman was crying by the time I left. I work in an industry where making people feel small is (sadly) an acceptable part of the training process. But, there is a way to train for the speed of a busy coffee shop without making a person feel so awful. It's coffee- not neurosurgery. Speak to one another with kindness and it will help the customers and employees feel more comfortable. read more

See , it's not always bad. When it's good I do recognize. Came here today because I had a gift card. Every employee in the store was cheerful and energetic. Coleen (I'm sorry if that's wrong Reg1 store239) was especially engaging, very funny and successfully up-saled me when I wasn't totally sure I wanted a coffee as well. Overall pleasant experience. They made my pink drink quick which was the only good part of this visit. The cashier didn't ask me if I needed my receipt. Just walked away and started brooming. Don't want to assume anything but I feel like customers who come here often don't have the decency to say excuse me if they need to pass by a disabled person. read more

First lady at the register was super friendly. But never in all the years of going to Starbucks have I been given a hard time for not getting a pastry. The older lady working this morning came off as extremely rude once I told her I didn't need anything from the case. I was unaware that you could be so incompetent and hold down a job in the United States of America. The staff at this establishment literally stole over $25 from me, Then gave me a receipt for the transaction, followed by the "shift lead "coming out and parading me about how I was making the employees uncomfortable and I was threatening them. I never used any term but sir or ma'am to address the staff. This "leader" wasn't present for any of the conversations I had with "her employees." Some of whom seem to be far more educated and deserving of the position. In summary, I could easily sue Starbucks for Libel, Slander, Theft, Conspricy to Commit Theft, and I would add miss Shift Leader as she was grossly negligent in the scope of her employment. Going as far to say "I have worked here for 2 years, I think I know how the app works." To which I burst out laughing... Bottom line: unless you too are one of these sheep this place won't be for you; I was just going for my dad anyway but oh well... read more

One of the smallest Starbucks but certainly the most quaint. The manager, Manuel, keeps everything spotless (huge to me!). They seem to know most regulars....always seem happy to see you..share some stories, occasionally write sweet messages on your coffee cup (can make your day!) and although a lot of people come in...you seem to be in and out at a reasonable pace. Love going to this Starbucks all the workers are very friendly and fast. They know how to hustle through the line in an efficient way of producing orders fast. Today I tried the new mango black tea lemonade and it was phenomenal ! Defiantly recommend . They always have many food options as well. Outdoor tables available as well as indoor seating. read more

It's a starbucks, so again, I'll spare you the details about the coffee & espresso based drinks, as well as food offerings. This location is pretty small, with maybe about 5-6 tables near the front. The service here is fine, and parking is pretty easy. If you're in the plaza to go to Sierra Trading Post, Trader Joe's, Petsmart, or any of the various other shops, it's a very convenient (maybe too convenient) location to get your caffeine fix. read more

I'm not sure why I feel compelled to write a review of Starbucks, because everyone goes to Starbucks and the experience is more or less the same at every Starbucks. So whats special about this Starbucks? (So much "Starbucks" in one paragraph...kind of like how many Starbucks' there are in the world.) I really like this location, it's definitely my choice over the others nearby. The baristas are nice, you can almost always get a seat, and the lines are usually manageable. Let's face it, there can be a very tenable argument made that you're willing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee @ Starbucks because you expect a consistent product and a decent service experience. This has been the latest Starbucks to disappoint me in the service category. I can admit that it would be easier if I didn't order a custom drink. But at the same time, my drink isn't that difficult in the grand scheme of Starbucks barista talents; I order a non-fat, no whip, no foam white mocha. And, it was a bit busy and their was one person working the store, by herself. Today, the barista took my order, repeated it, took my money and proceeded to make my drink...incorrectly. As soon as I picked up the cup I could tell the weight was off and there was a significant amount of foam in the cup. Again, they were busy so I waited until the counter was clear and then asked if they could simply remove the 4-6" of foam, steam up some milk and add it my beverage. I can't believe my request was met with a pissy attitude. Seriously, I could have asked you to do something more difficult. You know, something like make my drink over, apologize for your mistake or maybe realize your customers are the reason for your work, not an interruption to it. read more

Ok I usually find it hard to see anything wrong with a starbucks because they are all so similar and I love the coffee drinks, but because of the staff at this location I have to give 2 stars only. I have been to this location about 5 times and 3 of them I sat in and worked on my laptop for over an hour. In the time sitting there I can hear the staff conversation and talking to each other. I don't know if it's the days I am there, but there seems to be their weird flirty/teasing mentality going on between the staff. First I watched one female staff member walk in the front door (30+ft from the counter and other employees) and just start yelling conversation to them over everyone sitting in the commons area. Later I heard a female employee ask what I believe to be a manager if she could go on break and he goes "no you don't deserve a break" and they giggle and go on like this. I dunno, I'm not fond of hearing employees thinking they are the only ones in the place and having loud conversation that are inappropriate while guests can hear. read more

My new go to Starbucks since it's conveniently on my way to work. The staff at this location are always friendly and work quickly to get all the coffees out so we aren't standing around and waiting. I appreciate this! I also appreciate the fact that this location is tucked away off the street and isn't nearly as crowded as locations I went to previously on my way to work! read more

This Starbucks is close to my house so I usually go there when I'm stopping by TJ Maxx. It's a smaller store with just a few tables and places to sit. The service has always been good here, not exceptional but good. It is what you would expect from any Starbucks. The line moves quickly and it's not super busy like some of the other locations. I'm assuming that will change when the Trader Joe's opens up next door. read more

I don't know how this location has such high reviews! I will go out of my way to avoid it, and go to the location in King Soopers from here on out. I live in the area, and I have had several negative experiences. First time around, I forgot to mention I wanted my drink extra hot with no foam. I mentioned this to the barista halfway through making my drink. He angrily said he would have to remake my drink splashed it out and chucked it in the trash. I apologized and said said I appreciated him doing that for me. There was no one else in the store. The second time I came in, There was a huge line, and I was waiting 20 minutes for my drink. 5 people behind me received their drinks before me, so I began to wonder if they forgot mine, as they never asked for my name when I paid. I was about to ask the barista when he smugly tossed my drink across the counter at me. As I was leaving the store, he yelled, "come on people, it's not like we have a cue in here." Not only did this embarrass the hell out of me, but this is not the way you treat customers. I didn't say a word to him...I just gave a non-verbal cue...like"hey I've been waiting for 20 minutes...I'm not impatient...I know you're busy,but 5 people behind me with large orders got their drink first, and I think you may have forgotten mine...what's up?" Gr8 starbucks, Baristas have personality. Drinks taste gr8. Retail is passable but usually lacking in something or other.

I have visited this particular Starbucks location several times in the past 6 months. The service has always been above average which to me is one of the most important things for this type of business. The staff is always friendly and PATIENT with me while I ask lots of questions about various drinks. I have settled on the Java Chip Frappuccino as my favorite. (or the Double Chocolaty Chip if I'm not in the mood for coffee). One of these and one of their scones along with a friendly smile and greeting from one of their barista's makes for a perfect snack during a hectic day. read more
