I love this place. I stayed here while my grandmother was in the hospital down the street. I am autistic, and I am not a big fan of being in public settings. But me and my mom found this place, and it's amazing. Yesterday, I drew the kind people working, and left it for them. Today, I came back, like we have for the past few days. The kind man offered me any item I wanted on the house, because they loved the drawings I did. I imagined they threw the drawings away, but to think they actually cared a lot about it made my week. Maybe even my month. A huge thank you to everyone who works here for being extremely kind and understanding. You gave me a place to be, somewhere I don't need to worry. Thank you. Now, for an actual review, the food here is very nice. All I really ate were the avocado toasts because that's all I'm familiar with, but of the two I tried, the supreme queen toast is the best. For service, the people here are very kind and attentive. Very respectful. And helpful, they will not make you feel stupid for having questions or needing a smaller menu (I have very bad vision for a 15 year old...). The ambiance is very nice. People are doing whatever they want or need, and don't care about you. Which is a good thing, especially for people who don't like loud or overwhelming spaces. Being open 24/7 is also very wonderful. Sometimes we're up late, after a day of forgetting to eat or just not having to the time to, having a place to eat and hang out is nice. It's also very cold, which is good because it's been very hot outside. Overall, this place is amazing. And I'm very sad to be leaving this area soon, but I hope I can come back again one day. Stopped by lil coffea shop in Denver while waiting for a flight and had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered an espresso and planned to just sit for a bit -- ended up being there for about an hour. Out of nowhere, I felt like I was being pushed out. They started cleaning around me even though it's advertised as a 24/7 spot, and I was literally the only person there. It just felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. On top of that, they even charged me for water, which caught me off guard. Overall, the vibe didn't feel very welcoming. The baristas are too busy, flirting with male customers while there's only one barista actually doing all of the hard work the order I was there to pick up was already ready, but I had to wait for the other two barista to get done, flirting with the guy standing in front of me waiting for his coffee that the other barista, who is the only one who actually working and doing their job was making, so I was very annoyed to have to sit there and wait for them to finish flirting when they should've been doing their jobs, making sure they're greeting every customer and being attentive to completing their tasks not trying to see who's pants they can get down. It seems like they're trying to a quirky catch all but it's honestly not working. It's really chaotic and aesthetically overwhelming walking in, finding the coffee/tea on the menu screens was challenging and there's so much on there the font it almost impossible to read. We got two winter specials - the peppermint bark late and the Black Forest late, and both tasted like coffee with milk and sugar. Neither one had their promises flavors of peppermint or cherry, so that was a major let down. We stopped by here for a quick something to eat with a few beverages on this beautiful Sunday high noon. Due to its location (near DU), there were some young adults with their laptops studying for whatever they were working on. The background music was at the right volume where people weren't so distracted by it. And those who were there to just mingle, they were respectful by engaging in their chitchats etc. We were impressed with the Masala Calzone. They serve it in a large plate. Not a bad price ($15) for this portion. My daughter really enjoyed her Apple Cider Chai. My usual, doppio, tasted good, too. Super disappointed after going to this location for years. Last week, I ordered my usual frozen vanilla crème, and it was made terribly. There was no vanilla bean in it, and it was full of ice chunks. This week my wife picked up the drink for me and it was even worse. It was basically heavy whipping crème with no flavor and no complete foam. When I grabbed the cup, it weighed nothing. I actually went back to the place and before I even finished one sentence complaining about the drink, the lady at the counter states she was sorry, she had to use vanilla syrup since they were out of the vanilla powder. I guess that's why it had no flavor, but then I talked about it being complete foam and not a drink at all and she once again apologized and said they have a new blender they are getting used to. None of this was stated before they sold the drink, no refund was offered, so I left the drink on the counter and told them they could have it. I went late in the afternoon closer to when they closed and it was pretty empty and they were preparing to close towards the end of my visit. It took a little bit to get my tea ordered but once I did it was lovely and I love that they have a variety of iced teas to choose from too. As someone who is avoiding caffeine it's always nice to have some other options. They also sell outrageous baking bread so they also have some vegan and allergen friendly snack options in their bakery case. Overall it's a nice coffee shop and convenient to visit with a friend who worked at Porter. It's right across from Denver Beer Co so there are a variety of options in the area to go from point A to point B too. I would absolutely come back in the future! read more

I love me some good coffee, and this place has it. They recently switched to Queen City Coffee, which is my favorite at the moment. Everyone that has had a chance of tasting this coffee, loves the balance and flavor of it. They typically have light and dark roast brewing for drip, and of course they have an extensive coffee menu with the usual suspects. I love the chill ambiance here with plenty of room inside and an awesome patio with old trees providing shade. This place is also handicap friendly with a ramp from the street to the front entry. Service was super friendly and fast. They take Apple Pay, which is great for speedy checkout. Parking is also pretty easy, with parking available on the street and in their own parking lot with its entry located to the left of the building.
