In general, as all Starbucks are corporate owned, there is a consistent standard of operation. For me, this location is convenient since this is the closest full-scale standalone Starbucks. However, my one gripe since day 1 when it first opened (Nov 2014) was there is no direct access for west-bound traffic into the strip mall where it's located. Instead, I have to enter at the light by the Chevrolet dealer - not obvious at all. And I have to go over the world's largest speed bumps along the way. The service is generally slow. Today was no exception; however, one staff was able to turn the bad experience around. I ordered a Ham & Swiss Croissant and after 18 minutes of waiting and finishing my cup of coffee, I had to go to the counter to enquire about my order. This older staff (didn't get his name) checked his list and apparently my order was no longer there. He apologized, refilled my coffee, and promised I will be taken care of. 2 minutes later, he came over to our table with the warm croissant sandwich. Very disappointed in this location as it is the one I always go to. I ordered my normal drink that I have ordered there specifically for two years (brown sugar shaken espresso, no ice) I have never had an issue with this order before. As I was in the drive-thru (which also took abnormally long as there were only about four cars ahead of me) the original girl I gave my order to had written down on the menu board everything I wanted.. and then a couple seconds later another lady whom I'm assuming was the manger jumps on immediately and very rude like tells me that they cannot do this order without ice. I nicely replied that I have always gotten the same order everytime I have been here. She promptly and rudely explained to me the process in which how they make it explaining to the degrees of the coffee and how they can't shake it without ice ect... saying it'll blow up in the baristas face? I had no idea what she was talking about and or why she was explaining this to me. I finally said just make it how you want basically. I did however get my coffee the way I wanted without the ice as the end result which is all I wanted. But all that unnecessary explanation I believe was way out of line as I have never once after being a customer for Starbucks since I can remember have ever had that explanation and rudeness. I was so upset by the ordeal that I told myself when I got up to the window, that the other day I had gone to 7 brew that has recently been built basically right beside them and that they will make your drink anyway you want no questions asked. In fact that's what their business model is based on. And not to mention the only reason I went to Starbucks was because 7 Brew's line of cars was all the way backed up to the Pike and I had to get to work so I couldn't wait in that so had to go to Starbucks instead which had about 5 cars in their line. Long story short if you keep treating customers like that we will all go to 7 Brew instead which already seems to be happening as everytime I try to go there about 20-30 cars deep. Have visited this Starbucks regularly. Located on Carlisle Pike, we've stopped here multiple times for our coffee break. Always found it to be busy, average wait times. During peak times there are long lines and difficult to find parking outside too. Staff is friendly and the inside is very pleasant with seating available too which is full at many times. It's easier to take out from here. Found coffee and food to be consistent here. read more

I really really really really wanted to love love love this Starbucks. It's so convenient I work on the same road that the Starbucks is on. Each time I've been there my drink has been messed up! I stop at the Starbucks and then I had to work usually by the time I've already turned on the main road I've noticed that my dreams aren't perfect! Yesterday my extra dry cappuccino was not perfect and that's the same drink I order every day. Not to mention I'm 95% sure all the girls talk about me when I pull up because are always giggling when they open the door. The first time I ordered my extra dry cappuccino which I originally wrote about my first review it was wrong but I half expected not to be perfect because I know it's a unique drink order. So the next time I ordered my cappuccino I explained what I meant just to make sure there'd be no confusion like I stated before not everyone orders extra dry cappuccinos. Upon pulling up to the window I could literally hear them mimic me explain to them what an extra dry cappuccino meant. After that point only wanted my cappuccino been right but I kept giving you chances because of the convenience. After ordering my extra dry cappuccino yesterday and it being so full of milk I could barely drink it I decided to try something different I ordered a peppermint mocha. Completely different but I decided to reward myself plus I'm trying to earn my eight extra stars! No sooner had I pulled out of the driveway and onto my way to work when I took my first sip and realize they gave me hot chocolate! I guess I'll be leaving extra early for work and making it to the Starbucks in Camphill! My just been coffee altogether this is giving me such a headache! I would like to take my drink back and explain to them what was wrong but I'm scared that they'll just humiliate me and talk about me! I could just be getting my wires McStop and being overly sensitive for the lack of coffee in my system and imagining them talking about me but I'm 95% sure I heard them mimicking me talk about my extra cappuccino and every time I pull up I feel like they're cracking jokes about it. read more

I was unsure whether to give this Starbucks on the carlisle pike 2 or 3 stars, but I decided on 3 because of the quality of my drink, which trumps everything else I believe. My drink was made perfectly, and I loved it. Sometimes Starbucks doesn't make everything to perfection (for what reason I am unsure), but this location seems great with the process of making quality drinks. Why I gave this less than 5 stars is because the staff isn't exactly friendly. They aren't mean or offensive, but I got the feeling twice now that the staff doesn't want to be there, and they end up letting the customer see that. They ran out of red cups so I ordered a hot chocolate and I waited there for my order for about 10 minutes and there was no sign of it. I told to the barista am running late so just don't make the chocolate as I am leaving now. She said okay and did not apologize. I paid for the drink that I never got. Also, this made to to quit Starbucks. I was a member for 2 years drinking shit loads of Starbucks every week. Thanks now I saved my money. Customer service is really important in a business. I would give no stars but yelp makes you give a star. My first and last time coming here. I asked if the impossible breakfast sandwich had vegan cheese and vegan egg in it. The cashier said it was a vegan sandwich. I asked him to confirm with the manager. Manager said it is a vegan sandwich. It still didn't sit right with me bc the sandwich is displayed as vegetarian and I have been vegan long enough to know what's what. So my instincts told me to check the website for the ingredients and as I suspected it is not a vegan sandwich. Only the impossible meat is vegan. So my wife asked the Barista to double check with manager and the manager got fussy with him and said "didn't I answer that question already it's vegan". He came back and told me it's vegan and I showed him the site and what the ingredients are. He was very nice considering how busy he was with a lot of orders. So I asked him to advise them to please take off the cheese and egg from my sandwich. When I get to my car to eat, I open my sandwich and there is cheese stuck to the bread. This made me so upset because to me this is a huge disrespect to someone's personal dietary choices. I'm vegan for a reason, don't put dairy in my food or animal products in my food. Respect someone's dietary choices. So please educated yourself and the staff on what a vegetarian eats and what a vegan eats. Vegetarians diet is derived from plants, with or without eggs and dairy. Wonderful and hardworking staff! Great customer service. Went inside this morning to grab a coffee and read for a few minutes to kill some time before going to work. I ordered and found a seat at a table across from the pickup bar. My coffee was ready very quickly and as I gather my things to leave I managed to trip over the leg of my chair jostling my coffee just enough so spill the contents of the entire cup all over the table, chairs, and floor ‍. I got a staff members attention to address my spill and apologize. Immediately the staff member was on the scene cleaning it up and even said let me make you a new coffee. They made my drink again and helped my awful start to my day get a little bit better. read more

I love this Starbucks! The staff are friendly and will even hold a conversation with you when it's not busy if you want. There is ample space to sit down especially if you use coffee shops as your study space. Drinks are consistent in taste. Drive thru has the cool camera feature where you can see the barista taking your order and the barista can see you. What is also nice is that this Starbucks has the reserve coffees and a clover machine. The only con is when the drive-thru or dining gets busy the time it takes for your drink takes longer, but this is to be expected with any establishment. The building is on the Carlisle pike, it makes sense for it to get busy sometimes. Plus if you're not feeling the snacks and sandwiches at Starbucks there is a chipotle right next door so you can grab a coffee and burrito bowl. read more

I have been to this location a few times. Most recently I went this morning. They have plenty of help - at least 6 people this morning. 3 were assigned to their drive through which was crazy busy but moving quickly. My drinks were made well (in fact my drinks have been consistantly good here which is not the case at all Starbucks ). My only complaints are regarding the huge (in mean freaking HUGE) speed bumps (that could take out the bottom of a car)in the parking lot and how small the lot is. The speed bumps are are way, way too big! I understand you want people to through the lot slowly but this seems a bit extreme. A friend and I were at this Starbucks yesterday, the area that holds the condiments was dirty, no napkins in either napkin holder and the garbage cans were full yet the workers were just standing around talking instead of keeping up with the stores needs. On previous visits I had to clean off the table where we were to sit and our orders were not filled correctly.
