Waited in the drive-thru forever and that's fine, it's Starbucks, that's what's expected. Finally got my drink went home got comfortable and boom wrong order. FML should've known when the worker said "I think I lost track of orders" really!! Drive back went in and explained the situation. I always go to this location but today I had my first bad experience. I was picking up a mobile order and a young lady named Lynette was assisting me. She was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I was standing there for ten minutes waiting for my mobile order that was already sitting there and they were not busy. I finally flagged someone down (which was her) and asked if the order was mine. She said yes and continued to do what she was doing rather than giving my my drinks that were done for 10+ minutes. I let that slide but then when I was leaving I thanked her and she just walked away with no response. My office orders 5+ drinks from this store 4+ times a week and we will no longer be doing that. That's the first time I've experienced a rude employee at this locations. I work in customer service and she is not cut out to work a customer service position. I don't ask for much but a simple response would have been nice. Basic customer service skills. read more

Looooooove this Starbucks! My favorite Starbucks to stop by in the Merced area. It's new so there are a few little kinks to work out. The first person made my drink differently than I expected and I felt bad having it remade, but the other barista Kaity made it perfectly and fast with a great attitude! If I could give no stars I would. I have given this Starbucks 5 different attempts to improve, and this last time I have made the decision to NEVER give them business again. The first visits I waited for my drinks for over 10 minutes each time. I tried different methods of ordering-mobile, in person, and in the car. No method seemed to be faster (despite the recommendation to use mobile ordering because it's supposed to be more efficient). When I did do mobile orders, I was ignored until I got the manager's attention, only to get an apology and a longer wait. This past trip I did a mobile order from my house, 10 min prior thinking that would be a sufficient amount of time to have my order prepared. I arrived, only tone find out my order wasn't even on a cup yet-it was still a sticker on the print out roll that the mobile orders come on. I spoke to someone who told me "2 minutes." I waited for 4 min 47 sec (I timed it on my watch), and alerted the woman I'd like to get my money back because I didn't have time to wait longer. She gave my my money back-but I assured myself and my company, that would be the last time I waste time walking into that business. I'd rather travel the extra 10 minutes to a more efficient store. read more

I've been through the drive threw of this Starbucks numerous times and the wait seemed a little long but didn't bother me. Today was the first time I went inside because I had time and I heard nice things. I had the worst experience hear!!! First them man taking my order kept walking away I had to repeat my order 3 time. While I waited for a total of 40min people were constantly complaining about getting skipped and they continued to skip people and myself. I ordered a white mocha frap and added a banana with no whip. They were yelling out to each other that they didn't have bananas and skipped me after 5min telling me the didn't have any made my drink with whip. I ended up late to work and ticked off!! read more

I usually order ahead of time at a different location due to me living in Atwater area but I work in Merced. So I ordered ahead of time. Mind you, I start work at 10 am. I ordered my drink around 9:30 so that when I would get there it would be ready. I got to the Starbucks around 9:40. Still was not ready. Not to big of a deal. Then after a good 10 minutes i started to get a bit frustrated. Not only because i have been waiting, BUT also because the app had said it would be ready within 5-8 minutes. Which should have been ready at 9:38. But I waited at least 15-20 minutes for my drink. Along with a bunch of other people. I over heard them saying they ordered their drink 15 minutes ahead of time as well. This store is very short staffed and needs more employees. Not just saying because I had a bad experience but also because the Atwater store does have a decent amount of employees and they have mobile orders ready on time for the most part. So I am making a comparison. I definitely will NOT be back to this store. ‍ read more

I just love the Starbucks on Olive Ave the store is always clean the staff very friendly and if your drink isn't right they will gladly make it over. Now in their defense if you think they are slow it's only because the old store was half the size with no drive through. Now that it's twice as big they have a lot of new employees but I promise the staff is great and it's worth the wait. I would give them 10 stars if possible read more

Bad customer service, don't feel welcomed. Every drink I've gotten always tastes watered down or completely wrong. I could see from the window my drinks were done yet it took the lady 8 minutes to give them to me and didn't even apologize. Need better employees! read more

All other Starbucks I've been to the employees have had great customer service. Really have enjoyed their service. I've never really encountered an employee to be particularly rude. In this visit unfortunately it occurred. From the start, I believe her her name was Valerie she took my order and cut me off and went straight to telling me my total. I was not done and wanted to onto my order. I kept saying "excuse me" "hello" after a while she said "GIVE ME A SEC." at this point I was feeling bad for the person behind me after a while of not being helped I just pulled forward. I added it at the window and she told me to wait on the side. I usually always get my receipt and she didn't hand me one nor ask me. I understand it can get frustrated as I have worked at a fast food place. Although it was early in the morning and there was not a big line for her to feel overwhelmed, a little confused on why she was acting like that, it could've been an off day I'm not sure. But the gentlemen that handed me my bagel was very nice and sweet and made me leave with a smile. read more
