Hi all, I am a student, and was pulling an all niter, with my friend at UC Merced, and we really needed some coffee. We went to the 24 hour drive through Starbucks, and wow, it worked out great. Gave us both a break from hitting the books, and the coffee was super strong, and good. We also got some cookies, which were heated for us. With coffee, to die for! We got some scones to go, and crammed for the rest of the night. Any time of day or night, the coffee you need is just a car drive away. read more

I come here with my coworkers on our breaks. It is in a nice location and has fast and friendly service. The coffee is traditional Starbucks, so nothing out of the regular. It is a cool, hip Starbucks that has a nice patio area. read more

I go to this Starbucks almost exclusively as I live within walking distance. I have never had a bad cup of joe there and every barista has been polite and friendly. One barista in particular Ashley I believe her name is, is just extremely sweet and super nice, always smiling, (not to mention beautiful) sorry couldn't resist, LOL! read more

I do not understand how Starbucks will modify drinks to specific temperatures and all this other customization, as to why I am still charged for a full pump chai instead of just milk and an added pump of chai for flavor. Will not be coming back to this specific Starbucks again, and will reconsider all Starbucks moving forward. An extra $1 every day for taking product out of my drink is ridiculous. read more

Ordered on the app went in and my food was ready but my drink wasn't. Took them 10 minutes to make my drink ( mind you it was slow) then when it was made it sat there for 5 min without being poured into the cup. When I finally received my drink my food was cold and my frap had been watered down. Been there before and it was great but I guess the workers today didn't seem to care enough for the customers that they started doing other side jobs instead and eventually disappeared. This is a good location for the chain. Great place to study if you are a UC Merced group and a gold member. There isn't too much to say about this place because Starbucks are pretty consistent across the board, but this is one of my favored few. I also love the promenade area for hanging out with friends; it has a prime hang location. read more

This is my very favorite Starbucks! I have been to a lot of them and this is the best. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is nice. On the very few occasions that my drink was not made correctly, the barista will make up for it by giving me a free drink or upgrading my drink size. The mobile app for payment is also great! Not impressed!!! I was at Starbucks yesterday in the drive thru with 20 other cars waiting to get a cool drink. I noticed numerous signs to try the new old fashioned grilled cheese sandwich .. Sounds good to me I hadn't had any lunch. I order our drinks and ask for the sandwich after a long pause the lady says.. We don't have any!! Really Starbucks can't produce two pieces of bread and a slice of cheese????at lunch time no less??? She didn't offer and substitute or any suggestions .. The morning line wait is longer then usual which is terrible, however the staff is the friendliest bunch around.

Who doesn't like Starbucks. They are always very busy but seem to handle the customers with a great attitude. I will be back each day.

Out of all the Starbucks location in Merced, I found this place to be the best if you want to sit in and study. It's located in a more safe part of town and you are surrounded with many college students. It definitely will make you study longer given so many people here are in the same boat suffering together . read more

I'm a big fan of Starbucks but my parents just went with my aunt and uncle to this location and they had a weird experience. They just wanted 4 small coffees. The barista told them they ran out and it would take half an hour for them to make coffee! I've never heard of it taking this long! she could just done four pour overs and it would've been 5 minute wait. Then when they were paying, she didn't have change so walked over next door to another business to get change. Starbucks makes so much money how do they not have change? Really weird. read more

The barista was nice but my soy iced vanilla latte was messed up. She gave me whole milk instead. Since I'm lactose intolerant, I was clearly not pleased. Yosemite and Paulson SB is great. Friendly baristas and always great attitudes. Only drawback is the seating. Not quite sure what SB was thinking when it got the weird shape tables and packed them in. If you're looking to grab a coffee and chill, good luck. Students bring outside food, their laptops and stay all day. I've had to leave many times because there is no place to sit. Warmer weather means I can go sit outside. read more
