People are nice but the service is sooooooooo slow anymore. I could go to the location by the mall and get back to work quicker than I am able to go to this location which is only 2 minutes from me. Two cars in front of me but it was a 22 minute wait. The person in front of me only had one drink. Still took another 6 minutes from her getting her drink before I got mine. Most people getting coffee aren't expecting to wait 22-25 minutes when there are only two cars ahead. read more

This Starbucks location clearly does not want you there. There was no one in line when I walked in the store and it took 4 minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the register. I ordered a simple dark roast French press (the easiest means to brew a coffee) and the barista had no idea what it was and I had to walk her through it before she told me that they don't do that there. I had worked for the company for 5 years previously, for a coffee shop to not know how to make a cup of coffee was an egregious lie. I settled for a drip which was burnt beyond belief and was dismissively passed off to me. This was my first morning after moving to town and it was a horrible "welcoming" experience. If Starbucks is supposed to be your third home, this is the foster home you run away from. read more

My drink this morning was not even full. It was about an inch from the top and there was a ton of foam on the top, which is never there everytime I order this drink. When I'm paying almost $8 for a drink, I expect it to be at least a full cup. It is not the first time they have messed up my drink. I advise you use a different location. read more

My husband and I went throu Drive thru today on nov 8'19. Order what we normally order after our day from hospital. Get to the windows this young man name Cody absolutely make our day. He very genuine he ask how our day went we told him how our day was that we went thru our fertility doctor and he said that was awesome he will prey for us. He was adopted child and he really grateful for his parents. He ask for our name and he will be prey for us. They little thing like this made our world. Thank you for giving us such a positive vibe. My niece and I stopped at this location after lunch. I usually don't visit this one, but it was on the way home from the restaurant. The voice on the end of the drive through speaker was bubbly and cheerful. We pulled around and the nice young guy at the window handed my niece her drink first. She had asked for an extra pump of vanilla, but stated to me it tasted bitter and asked if they would put more. I asked them if they did put the extra in there because of what she said, he gave no excuses he just quickly added more for her and didn't charge us. Kudos for them for making her happy. I order a white mocha Frappuccino without whip and it was totally delicious. I enjoyed my trip at this location and hope they keep up the good work!! read more

What's there to say about a Starbucks. You get what you expect. I just loved how this place felt when I walked inside during a rainy day. it is very small, but not too small. The barista that helped me was extremely friendly and a pleasure to speak with. My Gingerbread Latte and mom's Skinny Peppermint Latte came out perfect, so no complaints there. Disappointed. The sign says mobile orders are available at the front door. I used the mobile order app today, and they are still making me go through the drive through. So far, it has been a 20 minute wait. I would have never ordered (and paid ahead) had I known I had to wait this long. I should at least be able to cancel and get my money back. Update- once I got to the window, I asked the worker where the mobile order pick up was since the front door was locked, and he had no idea. When I got my breakfast sandwich, it was cold. read more

Rene is a wonderful manager who gets to know customers by name. It's a pretty busy store with 4 or more workers busily working all the time. There are no weird negativities at this store...its clean, the service is amazingly fast, the restrooms are clean and odor free. The biggest complaint I can make is that sometimes the cream container at the self service station is empty, but that is really a complaint about whatever customer emptied it and put it back. Anyway, I go to this Starbucks about 4 times a week, and really like it. read more

I love coming here. Everyone there is extremely polite and they know what they are doing. I went there this morning with 4 drink orders for my co-workers and it was almost a bad experience. A guy named Dre took my order and when I corrected an order and told him that my first ticket only had 2 orders on there instead of 3 I assumed that it was going to be a less confusing experience for both the staff and myself. When I get to the window another girl (who was very kind and professional) read off my first order and it was messed up. Dre came up to the window and read off the order saying that I told him that was the first order when I told him at the loud speaker that I only needed 2 drinks on my first ticket. He seemed to have gotten aggravated with me and the other girl who was at the window had to step in and help me. I have been coming to this Starbucks location for almost a year and Dre was the first one that has always gotten my orders messed up and made me feel like I am not welcomed. I'm from Seattle, let's just put that right out there from the start. Starbucks is now everywhere, though, so there's nothing special about it. It's even here in Mobile, which is pretty much the deep South as I see it, about as far removed from Seattle as you could ever imagine, literally and figuratively. I'm glad I found this one because my days must start with a latte. I ordered up my usual grande nonfat latte. One thing about Starbucks outside of the Pacific Northwest is that they always ask for your name so they can call out your order when it's ready. You know, I never give out my real name in these situations. I always make one up. Since I was in the South, I gave my name as "Ricky Bobby." That got a chuckle from the baristas, which was cool. This is the Starbucks that is closest to my house. They're always friendly, accurate, and quick. Every time I bring my dog I get him a puppuchino, which makes his day. They are very generous with the amount of whipped cream they give him and sometimes they add a little Milkbone on top. They're always sweet to him too. I mean, it's Starbucks. what can I say? This one is strategically located right off of 65. So it's convenient to get off and go through the drive though, if you're in a hurry. I don't usually need the drive through. It's got two plush chairs and maybe 4 or 5 small tables for you to relax, surf the web, work or read. The baristas are quite friendly and it's usually pretty quite if the music isn't cranked up too loud. That's all I can really ask of a basic Starbucks. read more

GONE DOWN HILL! This Starbucks used to be a 5. It was a dependable location. You could depend on friendly customer service and well made beverages. The beverages may still be the most consistent in Mobile, but sometimes hot beverages are lukewarm to cool; and in the most recent visit they made a completely incorrect beverage. Which leads me to customer service: the drink they made incorrectly was a drive thru order, they barely wanted to make good on the beverage on a return visit. And they definitely didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. Angela, who may or may not be the manager, was less than friendly and not at all apologetic about the situation. This would have never been handled so poorly some years ago when the staff was better managed. There are still some god servers, but overall, it's unfortunately gone down hill. read more
