Growing up in Louisville I had grown accustomed to our Downtown areas booming with quirky, locally-owned restaurants and businesses. After stumbling upon Nona's I began to feel a little more at ease about Owensboro's local scene. Nona's is the epitome of a local business. They strive to sell almost exclusively locally made products, and the owner is on the mission to serve her community as best she can and is so friendly. I really appreciate all Nona's stands for and love dropping by when I can to look at the locally crafted soaps, lotions, art work, and wide assortment of foods. Oh, and in addition to the cute store there is a juice bar and pottery painting business inside as well!
