It makes me receive my iced out beverage, slam a straw through the sippy hole, and next thing I know, a quarter of my Golden Eagle Blended Freeze is sitting in my belly and the other quarter is sitting in my brain. I have the brain pain. The brain freeze. Im definitely feeling it. But on a day like this when it's sunny and warm and I've been waiting for months for this weather to lighten up, this is what I welcome. It's one of those summertime vibes that ya hate to love and love to hate. It is along the same category as swallowing sea water when you're swimming in the ocean. So my drink is yummy and sweet (quite sweet at that) and super ice cold. I knew it'd be sweet when I ordered it and I know 1000% I could have ordered it less sweet cuz this place seems to allow you a billion options. I may even try asking if they can carbonate my coffee next time. I may get the tummy rumbles, but at least I can say I tried it. But yeah, I kept it sweet and enjoying it as is. The service was excellent and the Barista chose my drink for me and she chose it well. There is no seating at this location as far as I know and other reviewers are correct about the entrance being a bit of a nuisance. Somehow I made it. It seems like a cool spot though. They got music playing which is welcoming, but the lack of seating tells me to take my drink and leave which is OK. Dutch Bros has a business model that works for them. Although... if it's intended for a quick drive up and get your drink type of spot, the entrance nuisance noted above kinda works against it. Let me add that service was super fast. I have the app but still ordered at the window in a super indecisive manner and yet my drink still came out perfect and quick. I'll try the app next time. The problem is that I'm usually driving when I decide to drop in. But still... five stars to our brethren from the Netherlands for peddling their caffeinated beverages in this great city of ours. I have had a shake and a lemonade and a coffee from this place and they've always been delish. They are sweet but treat it as a dessert and skip that second piece of pie. Also TIL: the small bin at the counter I had been throwing my straw wrapper into is actually a tip jar. Please only throw legal tender into that particular receptacle. We adjusted the sweetness which turned out to be perfect so i recommend dialing down the sweetness if you dont like sugary drinks. Drive thru is fast, convenient. Service was quick and friendly.
